Got my new faucet! It's Price Pfister Avalon. I am going to get at LEAST a new sink in the future, so I picked one that would match that, and not the boring stainless sink we have now.

thanks everyone!! I have been living with this boring faucet for nearly 9 years now and I miss the faucet we had put in our very first home. It was similar to this one....a high arch, really pretty. I like that I'll be able to put a stock pot or the Iced Tea pitcher under it and fill it with no problems! Besides, 16 years is a long time for a faucet. It's served it's purpose, done it's time. Now, may it rest in peace...or as it is now, pieces.

Nice faucet. Nowadays they are very easy to install. The only thing you might consider is changing the water shut off valves under the sink to the threaded ones and using braided screw on water hoses. There's a little bit of soldering to take off and replace the shut off valves but it's quick enough to. The big plus is not having to solder rigid water lines at the taps.

I bought the braided hoses (without being asked!) but I am not sure about the shut off valves. Hhmmmm...... well, my dad is going to help us install the new sink, and being as he is more plumbing inclined, I'll let HIM change those! I just want water at the sink again!

We haven't had time to keep up with this cruise, but we are still joining all of you. Our friends that are traveling with us asked today if we had booked our flights!! Scary, we haven't even thought about it.

Only two weeks left until we leave for the WB Panama Repo. Incredibly excited, but it is taking up all our time. Started packing this past weekend.

Hopefully we will have more time once we return at the end of May.

ENJOY the repo!!!!! Maybe someday, we'll be able to do one of those too! The reason we haven't is, it's during school! It's hard enough for them to miss one week!
