Gilbert and Sullivan wrote some wonderful musical operetta's way back, generally somewhat historical, but they really are funny. HMS Pinafore, Mikado, The Gondoliers, that sort of thing.

Depending on how the director intereprets it, you can get some really funny things happening in the shows... (british humor style)

Allen, congrats on those 4 or 5 sneaky posts this morning... or should I say "hat trick"
I can officially say the chili is not going to be as good as I hoped for. There is no shoepeg corn or diced rotel tomatos and chilis in this city. I even endangered my life driving on these roads in this afternoon blizzard in my UGH ugly work car. We had to call it that because it doesn't even deserve to be called "the beater"
Anyways I had to settle for stewed diced tomatos, no corn, a package of chili powder, and I refuse to eat mushrooms LOL. We did get everything else so we'll build on that and then decide how much of the chili mix we'll put in. Had I known it was that depressing trying to find the heart of the ingrediant list I would have bought a can of dynamite hot stagg chili and called it a day

Bedtime for the kids but they are hyped up on the Batman cartoons they been watching, this could take a while

Yes! So far they have played baseball, tennis, boxing and now we are on to golf. Maybe they can do Olympic next! They'll really get a workout tonight!

It is for Vero Beach Resort and you share beach chairs, and an umbrella then leave it for the next family checking in. Kind of like the fridge swap on the budget boards!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most people have seen SOMETHING of G&S, just don't always recognize the name! LOL! My dad had season tickets when I was growing up, and we went 3x a year, no matter what. I am hoping to someday take the boys to a live show instead of just on DVD... Boise is not exactly the culture mecca of the world however. LOL!

I am guessing that at Vero Beach (which I have never been to) that they must rent chairs for on the beach. Instead of renting the chairs, someone has bought chairs and is passing them along for others to use during their stay. I think it's a great idea. We did the Pop Fridge Swap and it worked out GREAT! Kristin, I would do it! Saves you some money!

Ok, I have another ? for you... LOL! DH and Kaj are ham radio fans, and were thinking about bringing their radio with them. I assume that you can't use it on board (can't you just picture an antenna hanging off the veranda! LOL!) but they were thinking it might be fun to use on the beach at one of the islands... anyone else out there into Ham radio, or know anything about being able to use one on the trip?

And yet one MORE question... how many are doing to do tuxes and gowns for formal night rather than coat/tie and cocktail dress?

Thinking ahead on the need for shopping and weight loss! LOL!
