Plus I an anxious to see the pool when its all done. What size did you have put in? I miss our pool but in Oregon its too cold most of the year to have one unless you get one inside .

Hey Kathy - the pool is 34 ft long and is a lagoon shape. We absolutely love it. Landscaping is happening as we speak. So ready for this project to be all done. I think the landscaping should be largely done when we get back from WDW so it will actually be a bit of a "surprise" when we get home. That can be good or bad but we are hoping good...

Jeff, the pool sounds great!!! Ours was 30 foot and worked great, so with having 4 of you will be perfect. Cant wait to see the photos
When you get back from WDW it would be funny to see all your neighbors in your pool havning a big BBQ on your patio Best have a tall wooden fence around your yard too


Christine, we are going to try to come. Its not the cost with us its the fact he may change jobs before the cruise and if its too close to it he wont have enough vacation time saved up to be able to go. So we will wait and see.

We need the better job with benefits(medical) and want to cruise so its a real predicament to be in for us. Now if a good job comes well in advance it wont be a problem getting the time off.


Just thought I would check in. I slept all morning and I feel a bit better this afternoon. Hope it stays that way. No rain so far but it is very windy and cloudy.

I'll check back this evening to see who else has been around.

Morgan I took some of the nasty weather back today. I am trying to be a good neighbor but I am NOT keeping it past tomorrow afternoon. Then you can have it ALL back again

I feel like we are going to blow away today, very stong winds here!!

You guys can all keep the nasty weather. We have had our share of it down here in the south this year! We have a bad electrical storm last Tuesday and got everything unplugged ALMOST before the worse part got here. I just had my DVR left to unplug and BAM!!!! Lightening struck ... i believe it hit my cable line of my satellite. Well DVR worked as far as watching satellite but i could not record and watch anything....fried the hard drive! Well at least that was all it got this time!

I am missing out on a Disney Vacation this year. I have had one in 2006, 2007 2009.....i start to have withdraws...maybe i can go see Disney on ice somewhere to fix my problem.. LOL

You were lucky nothing else burned out. We lived in Florida for almost 9 years and had many of those electrical storms. I know exactly what you are talking about.

We had power surge protectors on everything possible and unplugged lots of stuff. Once the lightening hit in our back yard so close it set off all the smoke detectors in the place. Scrared our son half to death. He was there with his girlfriend and we were out for a couple of hours. He called us right away all upset. At least it didnt catch the house on fire.

well the rain has returned for a couple of days and its COLD too!! But by the weekend its suppose to be dry and 70's again.

I hope they are right, I am so tired of the rain besides I have put away the sweatshirts and long johns for summer so I need warm weather.

Good morning everyone,

Well our rain that was suppose to be gone by today is still with us
Luckily where we are going on vacation friday should be warmer and dryer. Its about a 4hour drive from here.
I may not get time to post tomorrow since Greg is coming home early for us to leave.
So just in case I am depending on you guys to keep us off page 2!!!!

Christine and Stephie thats great about your wieght loss. Keep up the great work.

Our dogs and Greg need to loose a few pounds so he is walking them tons everyday to help him and them to loose weight. I think Greg is about to need some new shoes now after all the walking he has been doing.


Well have a great weekend and next week everyone, I will be back in time for Minnies and my birthday next weekend. Yes I share a birthday with our doggie.

Christine and Stephie, I'm going to be hopefully joining you on the weight loss bandwagon. I just got my Wii fit last night finally and I'm LOVING it. I set it up and worked out over an hour and messed with trying to learn all the stuff i need to do with it. I'm getting ready to go cook some zucchini and summer squash for my supper and then work out as soon as I get the kiddos to bed. I'll start my ticker when I have something to report.
