Stopping by for a quick hello. We are on the same cruise this year 2009. We are thinking we might rebook on board. Since we are from NJ, this is a great week for us. Not sure if we will rebook for 2010 or 2011.
So, we might be joining you.

I wish I could find a job! I just left a temporary job doing assembly work but due to the recession, it finally caught up to us and work slowed down. I didn't really want to leave but my Dad was having eye surgery and I needed to be home for that.
Now I'm ready to go back to work so I can start saving up for our big trip. I find myself stealing pocket change from my spouse and putting it in my piggy bank.:rolleyes1
Unfortunately, I decided to go out and mess up my foot. I read on another thread about building up one's walking stamina before a WDW trip so your feet won't hurt so much. Well I decided to take a 1.2 mile walk on a hilly country road and by the time I got back my heel was on fire and my Plantar Fasciitis (sp?) was in hyper drive. I am now wearing a boot, with limited walking, for 4 to 6 weeks.:confused3 All I know is regardless of how much I hate this boot, I will do whatever it takes to get my feet in the best condition before my trip next year.:woohoo: I don't want a repeat of my last WDW trip, where I ended up on crutches. I tried the scooter buggy thing but that didn't work. I kept running into poles, walls, people, etc. And also, you are kinda at butt level with everyone:rotfl:
Any how, I am looking forward to this wonderful trip, and this year is going to fly by! I hope everyone maintains their financial needs and their health for this trip. May we have an uneventful year and everyone arrives on the ship happy and healthy:cheer2::grouphug:
Gosh, as I re-read this it sounds so depressing. Sorry about that!:goodvibes

Well, you can take my family off of the roll call. I just got a job with our local school district, so I can't cruise in October due to the work schedule. The good news is that we are moving our cruise up to March 2010. It will be with Carnival's new ship, Dream. I hope you all have a great time in October 2010 though!:)

Ah well......good luck with your new job:yay:!

Sorry I have not posted in a while. But it has been a crazy summer so far. We are so looking forward to WDW in 17 days:cool1: Do you believe that Disney World had a price increase!!! The only good thing that came out of it was that our passes expire in September, but with the renewal passes Disney is extending the expiration date for 3 months. So that means we do not have to renew until after the cruise:thumbsup2. Now when was the last time disney saved people money!!!!

Thanks so much for the tip on the annual pass extension. We weren't going to renew but with the 3 month extension it will take us into our additional trip in Jan 2011 which definitley makes it worth it. Doing the Happy dance..:banana::banana:

Well its been ages since I could take a moment to read the thread (my goodness have you guys been busy). We are still booked on this cruise but I"m hoping to talk DH into another one this year as well....did someone say Double Dip in November??? hmmmm might have to look into that one.

Just popped in to say, "Hello". We are leaving for WDW on Sunday staying for 10 days at VWL. We haven't been to WDW since July '07 so we are really looking forward to being at our favorite resort again.

Our last Disney trip was the 15 repo last August (where does the time go) bringing the Magic home from Los Angeles, but we didn't have time to go to MK.

My girls are excited about Trick or Treating on the Magic next October so we are "on board" for this cruise and looking forward to (after two previous Westerns) finally getting to see Key West and Grand Cayman.

Take care everybody,

We are leaving in 12 days for BLT and the treetop.:yay::yay: You will love Key West and Grand cayman. We have been there before on other cruise lines and have always said, I want to be on Disney. This is our first time doing the Western with disney. BTW: how is Confectionately Yours doing?:thumbsup2

I too, have been away from this thread for too long. I need to be more active here so I can get to know everyone we are cruising with.:goodvibes

My sibs are ding the Nov. double dipper. I am not an envious person, but I do wish I was on that Nov. cruise! Unfortunately, I refuse to travel with my sibs, so even if I won the lottery I wouldn't sign up... unless they failed to meet the deadline for their last payment at the end of this month.:rotfl: Mind you, I do not wish that on them. I honestly believe that they deserve this trip. I want them to enjoy the "Magic" of Disney. :thumbsup2 But.... :rolleyes1

Helping my sibs go through their packing lists and such makes me even more anxious about my own cruise. I am already making a list of the things we need to see and do, not just for the cruise but for WDW as well. No wonder we vacation every two years... it takes me that long to plan each one!:lmao:

Well, I guess it's back to:laundy: and no more :happytv: and :surfweb: for today. Lots of stuff on my to-do list. Hope everyone has a good weekend.:woohoo:

Our first Western was a Double-Dip over Thanksgiving '05 which didn't go to KW and we missed GC because of choppy waters; Captain decided it was too dangerous to tender.

Our second Western was a Double-Dip in August '06 that went to Costa Maya and Cozumel so neither Western took us to GC or KW.

The August '06 cruise was cool because I was able to get the Roy Disney suite; the girls loved the room. It was actually a surprise they didn’t know we were sailing on a Cat 1 until they walked in the suite. We will be sailing in a mid-ship cat 3 this time right next to the Walt suite.

Confectionately Yours is good place to get dark chocolate covered strawberries. I usually stop there a couple times a year, it is about 20 minutes away in Franklin Park.

My wife and I took a suite a few cruises ago and now were are spoiled. But on this one, we are taking a inside. I have a relative that lives in North Brunswick and my wife had a Uncle that lived around the corner.

Hey everyone!!:goodvibes Hope you are all well!

I need some help from the braintrust!:worship: We are going to WDW in November and one of the side trips we are making is out to the Kennedy Space Center. Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants out there???

Any thoughts, or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello Everyone!

We are very happy to be joining you on this cruise! :goodvibes

My name is Jen, I am 35 (36 at cruise time). My husband Ron will also be posting here (livingis2me) he is 35(36) also.

We have three kids...Brendan is 9 (11), Savannah is 8 (9), and Sarah is 14 months (2). Ages in paretheses are all at the time of cruise.

This will be our fourth Disney cruise. We have been on the Wonder twice and our most recent cruise was a fantastic Double Dip last year on the Magic. (<--we are so excited to see some good old friends from that cruise here! :wave2:)

We are big Disney fans and are very happy to live only an hour away from WDW in Tampa, FL. Sorry we are not from Joisey! :lmao:

We will have 2 staterooms, they are 6132 and 6133. :thumbsup2 We also have late seating.

We will be celebrating Brendan's 11th birthday which will have just passed when we sail. And Halloween of course!

Our favorite characters...Jen: Tigger, Ron:Goofy , Brendan: Mickey(especially the hidden variety), Savannah: Marie (Aristocats) and Sarah, we aren't too sure yet but she is a little troublemaker like Stitch so...;)

Looking forward to having a wonderful cruise with you all! :)

I only have one....I dont even know how far away it is driving wise from KSC but we have eaten at GRILLS several times....The food is good the view is great. And if you like live music they have that too.

We went a couple months agao and watched the Magic sail away!!!!

I'm Mike, or Dizzi's DH. I look forward to making some new friends prior to sailing. It seems like a very large group on this thread which should make for a great cruise.

I'll try to read through everything soon and catch up.
