Oct 28, 2007, Halloween 4-night cruise on Wonder

DH & I just bought costumes from the Disney Store so I'm making him dress up with me and the kids!!! I'm also curious aobut where they trick or treat!

That's the way to do it Lisa, just go out and get DH his costume so he'll have to dress up. He'll probably have so much fun once he gets used to the idea. The kids will love that he did it too.

DH and me are still talking about who to be......

DgrandS's were visiting today and really got into DIS when I showed them. So they added their thoughts.

I'm not sure where to trick or treat, but I'm going to bring bags of candy to hand out anyway, just while we're walking around.

So much FUN, Gonna be the BEST.

We just booked our second Halloween cruise (first 2005). It's me, DH, DD (10 at cruise time) and DD (7 at cruise time). We're counting the days!

Have you picked out any costumes yet?:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Welcome aboard....i'm sure this will be a great cruise...

best,
deb

No costume ideas yet. Girls have been some form of a princess every year since they were old enough to trick or treat. I didn't really like the trick or treating on the boat last time. It was very, very crowded and because it was one big circle, it was hard to figure out how to break into the line. We might skip that and just hit the dance party. My kids loved dancing in costume and seeing the different characters stop by in their Halloween costumes.

Last year we didn't bring costumes, but something happened on halloween and I ended up walking out of one of the shops with a Captain Jack outfit last year...

Don't know how it came to be really, honestly. pirate:

For our Disneymoon he said he would REFUSE to wear the groom ears... well guess who wore them every single day of our week on land? (We didn't wear them on our week cruise since it was harder to do being off the boat so much, but we did wear honeymoon pins on the cruise!). He'll get into the spirit once we get there, and the kids'll make him too!! I'm teaching DD how to give her Daddy puppy dog eyes! LOL

DH will be Captian Jack Sparrow, I'll be Minnie Mouse, DS has Woody and Buzz and DD has Belle & Ariel (we'll also be at the parks and go to MNSSHP so we wanted them to have costumes for both).

Me and Ilovestitch went to DL for the first time March 4th. It was a lot of fun, but now the long wait til the cruise starts :(

I can't wait for this cruise!

Looks like the date to make Palo reservations and book excursions for CC members is 7/30 and for first time cruisers 8/14-- is that the dates everyone else is calculating?

I'm going to try to book the brunch (day at sea) and the dinner for the 2nd night.

I think we are going to do the Atlantis excursion and the stingrays at CC. What is everyone else planning?

Stephanie

I'm almost there...I just paid another $1K towards this cruise today. I plan to be paid by June so I can start paying for the cruise I'm doing after this one in 2008....can you say addicted!

I just booked two rooms at the Atlantis today too. We're traveling with seven so I'll need passes for all of us to get on the property and do everything that we want to do....especially the lazy river tube through the aquarium. I can't wait to do that, it's going to be awesome. I'll probably do it more than one time.:thumbsup2

We still have not decided on costumes yet. We were thinking about the seven dwarfs, but that kind of fizzled. So now we're doing whatever each individual wants. I'm not sure what I feel like being that's going to be easy to pack and comfortable to wear.:confused3

Being in the moment counts...especially when you add those little pupppy dog eyes....bet 'cha it works every time!!!

Those are great costumes Lisa. Me and DH John were throwing around the idea of being retro Mickey and Minnie in black and white. It shouldn't be to hard to do. We'll see.

When is the MNSSHP? We're doing WDW after the cruise, but not before. We probably missed it then.:sad1:

YEAHHHH, only six months left and we're back in Mickey's world on Mickey's ship....it's my favorite place to be in the whole wide world.:cloud9:

The MOUSE got'cha!!!:goodvibes :lmao: :wizard:

How many people here are bringing teens with them? Boys or girls or both? What ages?

I'm asking because my DGS are coming on this trip .... 2 boys that will be 15 and 16 at time of sailing.

They're very anxious to know if there are going to be any teens for them to meet on the ship. So anyone traveling with teens, please let me know.:rolleyes1 :cool2: :rolleyes1

Thanks.
