I did an hour on the Wii and feel some better.

I just can't figure out how or why the pneumonia is still showing up. I have no idea what this guy/gal is gonna do but Kaleigh will be a basket case if she has to have another CAT with contrast! I can't even fathom a bronchoscopy!

I don't work tomorrow since I only have 1 day this month.

I've put clothes in the washer and forgot to turn the washer on!

Denine, too funny about your wash. At least I'm not alone in forgetfulness. Regarding Kaleigh, you are way over my head with the CAT scan with contrast and the broncoscopy.

My Dad is having another good day today. I feel better about leaving tomorrow for Ohio.

No, I haven't heard anything from Julie about this weekend. I really hope I get to see all of you guys! Our hockey game schedule has changed a little:

10:00 PM Game vs. Troy Storm

12:30 PM Game vs. Markham Islanders
9:40 PM Game vs. Duffield Devils
Sunday, December 6
11:45 AM Championship Game (hopefully)

All games are at the Ice Land Rink. I will have my cell phone with me.

Gotta run. I have to go pick Turner up from hockey practice and it is 30 miles away. Paul dropped him off and had to go do some work. Then gotta get home and pack. Our bus leaves around 8:00 tomorrow morning.

Wish everyone could be there but I will be happy to see who I can!!

I used my one day off in a run of 12 to host Katie's dive team dinner. How on earth can such skinny girls eat so much PASTA??? They cracked me up.

I am just beside myself this morning. The pulmonologists office called ME to set up an appointment just to find out I can't get her in until February!!!!!!! I ended up talking to 4 people and I still can't get her in until February. I have to be put on a cancellation list to try to get in sooner. Meanwhile, this child has had pneumonia for 5 MONTHS! THis will add at least 2 more. She has asthma and pneumonia and I can't get her an H1N1 shot unless I stand for several hours in line just to be told they ran out. How am I supposed to keep her from getting that flu?????? I am terrified! If she gets it she will end up in the hospital. I have been crying for the past hour.

Denine - I am so sorry about Kaleigh, I wish there was something I could do for you. I feel so bad for you. If it helps you can call me and I can listen and be your shoulder to cry on.

Susan - glad your dad is doing better and you can go to Ohio. That is some late games Turner has to play. I wish him the best of luck and I hope they win all their games. Have a fun weekend, you deserve it. Try not and worry.

Lori - I love the dancing banana guy! Yum, pasta...love that stuff! I can eat pasta every day and never be tired of it!

Thanks guys! I called the pediatric group for University Hospitals, my only other choice is the Cleveland Clinic and I don't really like dealing with them. I have an appointment for 2/19. I called her primary care doc and she called in a script for Augmentin, again. They are going to fax over all her x-ray reports and stuff, they are hoping that once they see that, maybe they will get her in sooner. Meanwhile, I am on the cancellation list to try to get in sooner.

I called and left Susan a meesage for getting together tomorrow. I need to call Julie with the time.

Going to the mall tonight to try to find Kaleigh a Christmas dress for next year.

Turner has the same old sinus congestion again. i am betting he has another sinus infection but all I have are OTC meds with me. He's the only goalie so let's keep our fingers crossed for the weekend!!

So far today is a better day. I lost 3 pounds, so take that OB?GYN! I am down about 7 pounds so far. Lots more to go though.
Jazzy gained 0.4 lbs so he is almost back up to 10 lbs.
yesterday though, we were afraid we were going to have to take him to the vet this morning. He was in so much pain, twice yesterday. I was able to give him pain medicine with the first episode, but I coultn'd do anything the second time. I listened to his heart and lunds and he wasn't congested, but his hear was fast and a bit irregular, which is not unusual. I think the cause of the pain is the arthritis or whatever in his hips. He almost couln't walk. Then he was throwing up fromn the pain and then he had to do other business cause he threw up. If I can't control his pain, then I need to do something. He is better today though and had a good appetite.

We got a dress for Kaleigh last night. I got an $80 dress for about $22 at Macy's after the discounts.

I have had to make the decision though that Kaleigh cannot participate in the Christmas choir. THis would have been her first time. But, it involves 3 practices plus Christmas Eve. Too much exposure to other kids. Plus, she ended up getting sick from last Christmas Eve at church. We won't be going to church on CE either. I will miss it, but I can't let Kaleigh get sick.

I am already worried about the adoption Christmas party next Saturday, but she will just have to stay by us instead of playing with the other kids.

I got her started on her ATB last night and she will have that for 10 days.

I have to go Wii and take a shower before we go meet up with Susan and hopefully Julie at 2 PM.

Hi everyone. It was great to see Denine, Jerry, Kaleigh, Julie, McKenzie, Garry and Brooke!!!!!!!!!!! All the kids have grown so much. It meant so much to me to see them. I wish I could see my Colorado friends too!!

Turner's team lost their 2nd game 3-2 and they have their 3rd game at 9:40pm. If they lose we board the bus at 6:00am for the ride home. If they win, we should be in the Championship game tomorrow at 11:45 then board the bus for home.

The best part of the weekend was seeing friends and the first hockey game. The rest well.....

1) COLD
2) 1 win, 1 loss, 1 tie - not enough to go to the final game so on the bus at 6:00am
3) Turner's mouth got him in trouble during the last game (the tie) and he got a 10 min. unsportsmanlike condut penalty. This was a big factor in the outcome of the game. NOT a proud Mom moment!
4) Turner is still very congested and now so am I.

But, time with Denine, Jerry and Julie was great. The kids have all grown so much! Can't wait til January. We have a tournament in Orlando when Julie's family will be there. Maybe we can meet up then. Anyone else want to go to sunny Florida in January?

Oh well. We are home safely and I am exhausted. Gotta unpack, start laundry, call my Dad, and of course go on facebook.

It is Monday again. Seems like it is always Monday.

It was so good to see Susan and we got to see Julie and the kids too. We didn't see much of Paul and Turner, but we did see them. While Paul went with the team to BW3's, We took Susan to Friday's and had a nice dinner. Then we went back tot he hotel and sat in the lounge with a drink. We got home at 8 PM.

Sorry to hear Turner kinda let one slip through the tongue.

We had a lot of running to do yesterday.

Jazzy is doing good, even his tummy is better. I took him off all tummy meds and gave him more pain medicine yesterday. I will have to give it to him more than once a week. I think the cold is making it worse. It is either keep his liver safe, but be in pain or put his liver in danger but have him be comforatable. Obviously I have to choose comfortable.

Yesterday was St. Nicholas Day and Kaleigh got a huge book of Seek and Find.

Gotta go grocery shopping tonight. I have 2 parties on Saturday to bake for, plus we still need to make our own cookies and eat dinner.

We bought our gingerbread house yesterday, we got a gingerbread train to go with it. THey were on sale at Target. BJ's doesn't have any this year.

Started on Crhistmas cards last night. For the 1st time in 19 Christmases, Jerry is helping!

I just can't get anything improtant done during school since Kaleigh has frequent questions or I need to actually teach something.

There are a few snow flakes in the air and it is cloudy and cold.

I think that is about it.

Gotta go check my farms!
