Susan - What a long day for your dad. I hope he is feeling better today. What time did your brother and your dad end up getting home? If you can go, you are going to be so close to Julie and Denine!!!!

I am sick. It started Sunday night with a bad sore throat, then yesterday with a sore throat and congestion, and now today I just feel miserable. I probably shouldn't have came to work but I did anyway because we are just so behind and understaffed. Tonight and tomorrow morning it is suppose to snow, so if I am feeling this way again I am making it a sick day.

Susan: Now we are getting somewhere. Is the ice rink in Strongsville? I know where it is if that is the one. We lived in Strongsville for about 10 years before moving here. I still work in Strongsville, go to the doctor there and the vet is there too.

Heidi: Take care of yourself! Hope you feel better soon!

I have Jazz on a new med for his tummy, Reglan. He has been more nauseous lately and is losing weight again. I hope this helps.

Susan: Long day for your dad. Hope he feels better with the blood!

Jerry and I have started using the treadmill with the Wii. It is more of a workout than the "jogging". I tried to jog on the TM, but my asthma acted up and I couldn't breathe. So, I decided to just walk fast and it is still more of a workout than the jogging.

I have so much to do and feel like I have no time to do it all.

Hello everyone else.

Julie: Are you going to be able to meet up with Susan? I am looking at Saturday.

Hi guys, heading off to WW. Thinking I lost over the holiday. My goal was simply not to gain and maybe I surpassed it.

Susan, with the experience of Ted's dad, I know the blood transfusion is HUGE. He would feel so much better. Hope that is the case for your dad.

Denine, you sound like Stacey. She has kept all of her doctors etc up here in Denver even though she is closer to Colorado Springs. If you have trust in those people then I feel keeping them is the right thing. Her in laws bug her to get someone down there. They think she is crazy.

Hi everyone else. Better run. Hugs.

Good Morning
taking a second off the phone to post. Been updating my day planners and calendars for 2010, takes so long! I write my daily goals and a to do list and meeting and trainings on every page. Blah now my hand is tired!

Susan-hope things are going well for your Dad. I had a blood transfusion once. They gave me the wrong type and I broke out in hives. I woke up from surgery itching all over.

Heidi-Good day to take off tomorrow. I am already dreading the drive in. Hope you feel better.

Sandy-How much have you lost total on WW. Glad to hear you think you lost. The holidays are a tuff time for weight loss.

Denine-Poor Jazzy he has been through so much. Hope the meds work.

Still have about 8 Christmas stockings left to sew together. At least I got all the gingerbread men backstiched on them. I need to fill them but since the school frowns on candy I have to be more creative.

:cool1:I did it!:cool1: I lost today something like 1.8. Barb, I can't really say I have "lost" on WW since I joined. With all the vacations and thyroid issue I went up. Now I am on meds and hoping to get it off. I am 4 lbs up from when I joined but on a downward sprial. That's a good thing!

Heidi, sorry you are still sick. You didn't sound all tha swell last night.

Denine, you are so good about exercising. I wish I was.

Barb, I always dread switching over the home calendar each year. It does take awhile!

Of all days for me to have 3 doctor appts tomorrow. It is suppose to snow and the rush hour traffic is to be affected. Of course, I will be right in that since my first appt is at 8am. Man, next year I am putting it off!

WOW, what a difference a day and 2 units of blood can make. My Dad says he feels "great" today. His word not mine!! He also got his B12 shot today. Hopefully we can put this last episode behind us now and I can feel OK about going to Ohio. My Dad and brother got home at 1:30am!!! And, he still felt good today!

Susan - That is good news that your dad is feeling better. I hope he continues feeling this way.

Mom - leave extra early because it is icy. If you just take it slow, you will be fine. Congrats on the weightloss, that is awesome....especially losing over Thanksgiving!

Barb - I hope you made it to work okay. How much snow did you guys get down there?

Denine - How is Jazz doing today? I hope the new meds helped him out.

Hello again!

Susan: That is great news about your dad!

Sandy: It only takes 30 minutes to get to Strongsville, but I try to pick stuff up at the vet when I am in town for work or go to the doctor and something on the same day. I just haven't had time to look for a new doctor! That being said, I will be in Strongsville tomorrow for a doctor appointment.

Heidi: How are you feeling?

Sandy: I may be the one that exercises, but you are the one that loses the weight! I always seem to gain, which is what I have done since I lost those 4 pounds the first week. I gained 0.2 last week. My body is GREAT at conserving!

I got ALL of Kaleigh's presents wrapped while she was gone last night! :cool1: There is only 1 left and it hasn't come yet since it is backordered.

Now to work on those cards.

I also got more decorating done yesterday and hope to do more today.

I survived the roads. Had 3 medical appts. No more stitches! Yippee!

Denine, I need to wrap. I hate that the most out of all the Christmas chores. I started working on cards last night. Ted is going to print my envelopes this year.

Barb, been thinking about you and the roads. I believe you got it worse. Stacey is suppose to come in tomorrow from the south. Wonder if they will do it since they are pulling their RV.

I have a Trip Advisor friend that is up to something. She asked me to send several and she reiterated several high resolution family pictures to her. She is on medical leave as she battles thyroid cancer that has spread.

Denine - I love the feeling of having all the Christmas presents wrapped. This year, I only have one wrapped so far!

Mom - I wonder what she is up to? If I could figure out my scanner I could do the Magic ones we got, but I cannot figure it out. Glad you made it to all your appointments. Dad called me in the morning wondering how my drive was and if you would be able to do it. I told him ya, it wasn't too bad. I honestly like wrapping and don't consider it a chore if I have enough time to do it in.

Susan - How are you doing today?

Well it looks like Stacey and Richard will be spending the night in Santa Fe NM in a hotel to avoid pulling the trailer on the icy roads. They already winterized the trailer so they can't use it. It's way to cold here to wait to winterize it once they arrived back here. What a mess! Keep in mind that they are traveling with a rabbit and a cat. I feel for them. Too bad they can't travel in the summer like most people but with owning the campground they have to be there for everyone else.

Heidi, I wish you could have figured out your scanner! Stacey has trouble with her scanner and using Vista. I taught her how to do it. Not sure what your problem is. If you ever need to, you can use ours. How was the roads this morning?

Just heard from Stacey again. They have decided to push onto Las Vegas New Mexico. The sun came out so they are hoping that is a sign. I am sooooooooo nervous.

Good Morning

Thought I would post real quick before I take an online training. I have not read the board yet so hopefully everyone is doing ok. I listed posting on the board in my planner as one of my daily goals so now I can mark it off!!

Heidi-Hope you are feeling better. Did you get much snow in Denver? We didnt get to much down here YAY!!!! I love the snow but am getting worse every year about driving on the roads. I HATE it. ( I feel like a rebel saying hate. When I was growing up we were not allowed to say hate. My Mom always told us were to say that you dont care for it but not hate.) Sorry Mom
hopefully we she is not reading the board.

We leave for Disney in less then a week. I have so much to take care of before then. Still have to find a ride to the airport. I am pretty excited.

Bob just about has all the lights on the house, hoping to win the lighting contest again.

Hope everyone else is going great. Try to post more later

Hello

Nothing like a trip to the OB/GYN to make you feel awful about yourself. Half the time she lectures me about my weight and how to lose it. I tell her what I am trying to do and it is never good enough. She tells me to weigh myself everyday instead of once a week and only to eat 1200 calories. Of course, she only had 1 egg for breakfast and does 30 minutes on the treadmill at a 15% incline. UGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is cold and rainy today and to turn to snow later, but mainly out east.

Barb: I wish I was going to WDW with you!

Got more decorating done last night. I just have a littel left in the house.

Jazzy is being a BIG BABY! The last 2 days all he wanted was for me to hold him, like a baby, in my arms. Kinda hard to type that way. Now he wants in our room at night and bangs on the door and meows. He also started drinking water from the faucet while it is running. I don't know if it is his new medication or what. It does seem to help his nausea though.

Sandy: I hope Stacey makes it OK.

Susan: Have you heard anything from Julie about this weekend?

Barb - we didn't get much either, just a dusting. YAY for DISNEY!!!!!!! How exciting, less than a week away.

Denine - That was rude of the OB/GYN. Don't let her get you down and discourage you. I love holding cats like a baby, they usually don't like that so I would get all that loving in!

I got a text from my sister that they are trying to push on and get home today. They are at Raton right now, so keep them in your prayers they make it safely. The kiddos are just done and ready to get home.

Denine, Denine,. Your OB/GYN needs to get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have always been told never to weigh yourself daily as it can vary immensely day to day. I was told to weigh yourself same day, same time once a week. I knew you were close to having your exam as you and I do it together every year. I asked the doctor for a prescription for Phentermine at my exam yesterday. I took the first one today. It seriously helps the hunger. I just looked at the time and it is 2:12 and I haven't eaten since breakfast and I am not hungry. Being she preached to you, maybe you could get a prescription from her. :confused3

When it rains...

I got the results of Kaleigh's follow-up chest x-ray from when she had the pneumonia. Guess what? She still has it. There is still and infiltrate in the right middle lobe. Now we have to see a pediatric pulmonoligist. Thank God for University Hospitals and Rainbow. They had a few to choose from so I picked one and sent an appointment request. I just don't get it. She has no symptoms, but this could be why her tonsils go up and down in size. I haven't looked, but I can hear it in Kaleigh's voice when they are enlarged. This has been going on since July. In August she had the CAT of the chest that said it was resolving. UGHHH!!!

I like my OB/GYN otherwise. She is the only one that helped me with the endometriosis pain by giving me continious birth control pills. She gave me back a life. She is just so preachy about weight! I get it every year. I know she is trying to help, but still...

I am just feeling down right now.

Ah gee Denine. Don't be down. There is so much "good" this time of year! Bless Kaleigh's heart. I can't imagine going that long with Pneumonia. Keep us posted!

Oh my gosh, I just found out Stacey is about 100 miles away from home. I believe that puts her past the worst of it. I feel better!

Want a good laugh at my expense? I put in a load of clothes before I left this morning. Came home, put them in the dryer and realized I forgot to put soap in the washer. Guess what I am doing now....LOL
