I'm here. Just nothing to say.

Sure you do.....your dad, mom, the kids, Garry.

Wow the DIS is really acting up. Denine's post wasn't even there when I last posted. It's driving me NUTS that posts don't show up for hours! Denine, nah, I'm sure you aren't the reason. I guess when someone disappears we all think we caused it:confused3. Guess that's human nature.

Hi Julie, glad to see you are still with us. We've missed you!

Barb, we miss you too and hope all is well!

Hi, everyone else as well.:grouphug:

I wanted to let you all know my dad got his porta-cath in this morning. He was out of recovery way before noon so we sent to eat lunch and then went to the Oncology office for chemo treatment. So, he had his first treatment and so far all is well. I hope he doesn't get real sick from it. He felt good afterwards so he and his girlfriend were going to go to church this evening. I told him to be careful and not overdo it but he wants to do stuff when he feels good and I guess I can't blame him. Next treatment in 3 weeks but he has a followup appt. with the oncologist on the 15th.

Thank you all so much for letting me share my story and let my words comfort my emotions. You guys are the best and I really do think of you all as family whether you want me to or not:eek:!!!!!!!

LYMI:flower3:

Susan, I really think that chemo has changed somewhat. Heidi and I have a DISfriend that lives here and she went through chemo last year. She did get sick but not that horrible sick like it use to be. We also have a campground friend that has had a few rounds of chemo. I do know from her that there is something now that can counteract the vomiting. Don't let me down play chemo because it IS a big deal. Also, I learned from her that some foods cannot be consumed while on chemo. You might want to check into that if the doctor hasn't said anything. I believe it's dairy. They both were extremely tired and lethargic. I agree with him to get out while he feels good. He needs to stay positive and keep as near as a normal life as possible. You NEVER need to thank us here for listening. We are family and are here for each other. :grouphug: No matter how trivial or how huge the problem is we are here for each other. It's good to let it out and not keep it inside. I know that from experience, let me tell you! LYMI!!!

:woohoo:Julie has checked in:woohoo: and now we need Barb.:sad1:

Heidi, how is Sable feeling today? PLEASE, let me know what the vet says.

Hi Julie. :yay: :woohoo: :cool1:  We missed you. Please stop in more, even just to say goodnight, good morning, hi, whatever...we want to chat with you.

Denine - Yay for WDW in 3 weeks. :cool1:

Susan - I think of everyone as family too. I basically grew up with all of you! Glad your dad felt pretty good. I hope he doesn't get too tired.

How did I miss that Denine leaves in three weeks? We will just miss you in FL!

Good night Julie! :)

Ho humm stopped in to say goodnight. I will post tomorrow. Miss you guys lots. Hope everyone is doing SUPER!
Love ya!!!!:grouphug:

Mom - I did see your posts on FB to Julie and Barb, guess they just don't want to be a part of us anymore. Hopefully I didn't offend them to have them run off.

Starting skimming and saw this. I so sorry Sandy I never saw your post! Never going to happen where I dont want to be a part of our Disney family. Work is so busy. I will post several times tomorrow. I think about you guys a lot!

I get into work about 5:50 and try to get a few things done before I have to get on the phones at 6:00. The calls start right away and don't stop all day. I can never finish an entire post all at once so I just don't bother. I lost my train of thought so easy.

Oh Sandy my Mom met some older lady at Archivers that knows you from the campground. She talked about Stacey and Tyler. Don't know what her name is.

Barb, I got an email that you posted but can't see it here but I wanted to respond. How cool that someone knew us. Sure wish I knew who it was. Guess it is a small world! How funny that your mom and that person got to talking about the campground!

BTW, HI SALLY. Wish we could get you posting on here again. I know you have tried several times over. Just doesn't seem right!

Unfortunately (or FORTUNATELY) I am still up. HAd to get a load of laundry done and packed so Paul can take our bags with him tomorrow to Florida. Turner and I fly out Friday afternoon and I didn't want to check baggage. This is going to be a quick trip. Birthday party (50th) for Paul's sister on Saturday and baby shower for his niece on Sunday. Ride home with Paul on Monday. Back to work Tuesday.

Anyway, I had the vibes :goodvibes telling me to check in one more time tonight. I am so glad I did. Looks like we are all back together again (except Sally can't post). You guys do realize we have been friends for 7 years although it was first only online. Back then we only had a couple of smiley faces to use in out posts and we were always putting them on there as we were bouncing up and down getting ready for our cruise. Bonnie and I used to chat before work as we had a cup of coffee! I do miss those that don't check in as often (Bonnie, Jeannie, Joyce, Lori, etc.) Memories!

Our children are older (BTW, we aren't;)) and some new ones have come along in our families. We have each been dealt with some serious personal or family issues and supported each other through it all. We've celebrated successes and joyous occasions, even a few wine chats and secret Santa's. Some of us have been lucky enough to meet up in person as our paths have crossed either planned or unplanned. I feel so blessed to have all of you as friends/family.

You guys may want me to stop posting again as mushy as I am getting lately!!!:guilty:

So, I guess I will just say Good-night and LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!:grouphug:

NO DON'T stop posting Susan. I for one am a HUGE mushy person so I loved your post. You are quite eloquent in your writings. Wish I could say everything so beautifully. I feel the same way though. I remember you and Bonnie having your morning coffee together. I remember the last time I talked to you on the phone. It was a wine chat that you set up for all of us. Heidi was on that one, too. I remember Denine's excitement when she was told about Kaleigh. I remember Jule having Brooke. I remember Barb's excitement becoming a Grandma. I love having family like all of you.

Ho humm stopped in to say goodnight. I will post tomorrow. Miss you guys lots. Hope everyone is doing SUPER!
Love ya!!!!:grouphug:
:cool1::yay::woohoo: Yay, our Disney family is back. We missed you Barb. Even if you can't write very much, just stop in and say good morning so we know you are ok. I was worried about you and Julie.

I remember thinking my mom is crazy getting addicted to the Dis and talking with strangers. Hmm, now I am more addicted than her and those strangers have turned out to be family. :rotfl: I remember meeting in the parking lot of the cruise and Julie's kiddos were so young. I also remember meeting Patty in the parking lot at the races and meeting Barb and Sally with the Pampered Chef party and of course attending Barb's DD (Jaymee's) wedding. The first time I met the Dudettes was a great time and we had a great cruise and continued to cruise a few cruises after (we even got them a complimentary upgrade to a veranda on our last cruise together!). I love you guys. :grouphug:

Susan - your last post was very well put.

Good Morning!

Here as promised! I never think I have anything interesting to say so I skip the posting.

Sandy the lady at the campground told my Mom she was a school teacher. Think I my Mom said she was like in her 70ies or 80ies??

Well I keep getting call after call and having to leave this post I am going to get it posted before I forget.

Julie: I hate how things are between us right now. I really wish you would post more often so we all know what is going on with you. I have posed several questions and you never respond.

Susan: Well put.

Susan: I too think your dad should get out when he is feeling good and enjoy life.

Kaleigh and I enjoyed the butterfly talk yesterday even though we didn't see a single monarch. She did catch 2 other butterflies that they were going to put in the butterfly garden at the nature center.

We are going to the Geauga Fair today when Jerry is done with his meeting.

We are doing school until we leave.

back again

Hope you don't mind a bunch of shorty post other then one long one.

Ethan is loving school. Still tells me every day school was good and he does not know what he did.:lmao: He is playing soccar now. I love going to his games. I spend most of it laughing because they are so cute. I have all the Proud Nana feelings too.

Kara is SOOO CUTE. We have some pictures Missy is going to scan into the computer I am going to post on my Facebook.

How are the twins?? both sets:) How is Chris's school going? Isn't he almost done? how is your kitty Denine? I really need to read some of the past posts to catch up. I will try and get that done today.
