Heidi, OUCH!!! I feel better now knowing it turned out to be a scratch. Dad said if I get the number of the realtor that he would call and ask about the lake house. We were wondering if it is Vail expensive or Hamptons expensive or what.
It is slowly bruising, but as it bruises it is feeling better and I can put more pressure on it.

I have a picture of the phone number of the realitor! :thumbsup2

Hi guys. I can't say I feel any better today. I definitely have puffy eyes showing how emotional I have been. I stayed in my little cubicle at work today and called into all my meetings even if they were just down the hall.

Made a lot of calls today too. My dad has his pre-op appt. Monday morning and Wednesday morning he will have the surgical procedure to implant the catheter port. He can't do it sooner becasue of the blood thinner he is on. He has to be off it for a week. Then he can start chemo. Not sure if it will be that afternoon or the next day. Still waiting to hear back about that.

I didn't sleep much last night. I hope that goes better tonight. I'm beat physically and emotionally.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for being here for me. It means SOOOOOOO much.

Love you guys.

I am so sorry Susan. It will be hard for awhile, I know. I remember with my dad's diagnosis, I would be shopping and burst out crying. You will get better with time.

I'm calling out Barb and Julie. You guys are finding time to farm everyday but not check in with your family. Come on guys, you are missed!

Heidi, are you hitching a ride with us to Monument? I hope that we get down by 7:00 so we can tivo BB.

Susan - I wish I could do more for you.

Mom - I don't think I will be going down tonight, I will just drive down tomorrow morning. Last night we went grocery shopping all night and I woke up this morning remembering that I forgot to pack and I have a laser appointment at 4:00 today. So it is just going to be easier if I go tomorrow morning.

I agree, I miss Julie and Barb too and am sad that they have time for FB, but not enough time to come check in and say hi anymore. :sad1:

Hello everyone.

We are off to the ENT in a couple hours.

Susan: More hugs.

We just got back from taking Jerry's Riviera up to have the fuel line replaced. It can't be driven and it can't be sold the way it is. We won't sell it this year. We need to wait for the economy to pick up again, unless we get desperate.

Sandy: What lake house?

I work tomorrow.

Denine, I love the place we go to in Waterton Canada and there is a lake house for sale that Heidi and I would kill to buy. I think the guys would love it as well. Probably way out of our reach however.

Ok Heidi. We will look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Harold and Oatie are coming in tomorrow. Denny Greg was suppose to be in yesterday.

Sandy: OK

Kaleigh doesn't need to go back to the ENT. Her tonsils are still about the same size but that is probably due to the resolving pneumonia. Her lymph nodes are half the size they were last time.

He thinks she is on the road to recovery.

Yay, at least she is on her way to recovery. I pray there is no roadblock to overcome.

How's it going Susan? Hope you are having a better day.

Anyone have any experience with packing cubes? My cruise thread loves them. Just wondering if my friends/family here have any experience with them before I run out and buy them. They are on sale through today. I hate having to hurry and make a decision. The Internet is good at that. They are on Ebags.

Leaving for the campground soon.

Just wanted to say Hi. No, I am not handling things much better today but thanks for asking. Tomorrow is another day. I am going to go get my nails done tomorrow. I am way overdue for a fill-in and I have bitten the acrylic off of several - and that isn't easy! Amzing how in times of stress old habits come back with a vengance - like nail biting.

Goodnight

Susan, I am a cuticle picker. I can make myself bleed without even realizing it. I can sympathize with your nail biting! Is there anything we can do for you?

Susan - We are here for you. If you need anything please let us know. :grouphug:

Hey guys, busy day at the campground but found time to shop at Kohls. They are having a pretty good deal. Lots of stuff 80% off.

Susan, hockey practice this week?

Happy Saturday.

I really am going to make sauce today!

Susan: I wish there was something we could say or do to help you feel better, but I know there isn't. But, we are here for you.

Sandy: I have no idea what those packing cubes are. Sounds like some good deals to be had at Kohl's.

Work was busy yesterday.

We had a stormy evening last night. Not supposed to rain today but today is the warmest day of the next several days and it is only supposed to be 74. Summer is over.

Hi everyone. I'm beginning to deal with the situation at hand. I'm not as emotionally drained. I did get a good night sleep and went to the chiropractor this morning. Hailey is over spending the day with Turner and Paul went out out of town for the day working. I took Turner and Hailey to lunch at Zapada's and I am stuffed. I've done a little farming (and my laundry). Going to see a movie later just to do something. Turner and Hailey invited me:confused3. I can't believe my son will be seen on a Saturday night with me in a public place:goodvibes.

Turner has hockey practice one Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays this season. Off-ice for 45 minutes followed by a 45 minute break to rest and change and the 1 hour on-ice. I'm going to get a lot of reading done this season if I have to take him.

We are heading to Florida on Friday. Paul's family is having a baby shower for his niece and a 50th birthday party for his sister. Paul is leaving Thursday to do some work on the road on the way. Turner and I will fly to Melbourne, FL on Friday evening. Paul will get there to pick us up at the airport. All three of us drive back on Monday.

I went to see the twins yesterday when I got home from work. I hadn't been over there since last weekend. I just didn't want to bring them down the way I was feeling and acting. It was good to go get my baby fix. I held Abigail for about 20 minutes while Gabriel slept in his bassinet.

Hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend.

Denine - even we are supposed to be in the low to mid 70s this week (but not today).

Love you guys.

Miss Julie and Barb. Where are you guys??

I guess I am the only one checking in today. Oh well. Miss you guys.

So, here it is another end of a good weekend. Go with my Dad for pre-ops appt in the morning then on to work.

My mom and Step-dad came ober today and had dinner with us. They are leaving Tuesday to go back to Germany. They come back in December. I'm gonna miss them a lot.

Oh well. Not a lot to tell so I'll just say see ya later....

Oh no Susan. I just missed you. Sorry. I bet it was nice seeing your mom and step dad. You are so like me.....I use to take my dad to appts as well. If I couldn't do it then Ted did it.

This weekend was yucky. Tyler lost his balance and burned his little hand on the grill. I kind of think that it hurts all of us more than it hurts him. It's sad to see a whole little hand all wrapped up.

Chilly, cloudy and thundering here. So far no rain.
