Oct 19, 2002 UNSTOPPABLE...

Good afternoon, back from the campground and just doing laundry. It was horrible to see Tyler's burned hands...both of his hands have big blisters. He just can't get a break.

Susan - I need a baby fix!!!!! Glad you got to hold one for awhile. What movie did you see?

Good morning. I cannot believe today is the last day of August.

Susan: What movie did you see? I would like to see Julie and Julia. Not gonna happen though. Glad you got your baby fix.

Sandy: I was just thinking about Tyler. Poor little guy.

Heidi: I can't believe it is the last day of August either. At least the sun is out today.

Barb: Where are you? Have you seen any movies lately? You are usually the movie goer around here.

Julie: You never posted how Brooke's first day of Kindergarten was. So???

Denine, hard to believe that Brooke started kindergarten. She was just a baby when Heidi met you guys.

I had jury duty today. I am soooooo thankful that I was dismissed by the defense attorney. It was a child sexual assault case and it hit too close to home for me. They had weird introductory questions today and I had to admit that I worked in the Courts and DA's office, about all the police officers in my family and that my SIL is a judge. I also revealed that my niece was sexually assaulted by a person in trust when she was preteen. That probably saved me as well. It would have been so hard to hear all the evidence and remain cool. The defense atty had already hinted that you can't trust kids and that she probably accused because he was her step dad. I was already fuming and the trial hadn't even begun.

Julie, Barb, do we have to send out the mounties?????

Poor Tyler. I am so sorry about his burns. Hugs and pixie dust to him!

We didn't end up going to the movies after all. They ended up renting a couple of movies and I just read and farmed.

My dad is all set to have the cath port put in on Wednesday. We have to be there at 7:30 and we should be able to leave by lunch time. The chemo med plan has not been approved yet by medicare so I'm not sure when they will start that. They are hoping to have the approval tomorrow and then he would start either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.

Paul and Turner are changing the oil in the van and I have dinner in the oven. Then a little farming and alittle reading and I'll call it a day.

Later.

Happy 1st of September!

Susan - keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. That is great Turner can change the oil, not even my DH can do that! (ok he probably can but doesn't, lol!)

Susan: Pixie dust to your dad tomorrow. Putting in a port is usually a simple procedure. It is the chemo after that is hard with all its side effects.

I will have to see what is going to be new at Castaway!

We got Jerry's car back last night. Now, it is good to go for now. Like I said, we don't plan on selling it this year, but maybe next year if the economy picks up.

Jerry knows how to do a lot of things on the car and it does save money.

Supposed to be a decent day, 74 and sunny. We are going to Cedar Point when Jerry gets home from work. This is the last week it is open during the week. Then it will be weekends only.

Looks like it is Mounty time!

Went to REI today and bought some packing cubes and a packing folder. I could have gotten them all at 10% off and free shipping last week but Stacey's internet was letting me get on websites. At least it will be easier to return any or all that we don't want. Plus it was fun!

Denine, I called out the Mounties on their facebooks but they don't even respond to that. I sure hope they come out and help the thread when I am gone.

Julie and Barb, COME OUT, COME OUT, WHEREVER YOU ARE !!!

Not sure if they lost my post or what but I am going to repost it.

Denine, I posted on Julie and Barb's facebook about the Mounties but they didn't respond. I HOPE they help the thread while I am gone.

This is crazy. I have posted twice and it hasn't shown. I have posted on other threads that do show up.

WOW, I just posted that they haven't shown, hit post and up came one of the missing in the appropriate time slot. Hmmmmm.

Mom - I did see your posts on FB to Julie and Barb, guess they just don't want to be a part of us anymore. Hopefully I didn't offend them to have them run off.

Happy Wednesday!

School this morning then a park program this afternoon. We will be capturing, tagging and releasing migrating monarch butterflies.

We had a nice time at Cedar Point last night. It was not crowded at all which was nice.

Barb: Where are you?

Heidi: I am the reason that Julie has left. She is no longer speaking to me apparently.

Garry: Have you heard back on your MRI yet?

Can't wait for WDW in 3 weeks!

We are going to the fair tomorrow. Jerry is taking a half day. We will have school in the morning. Then, I work on Friday.

Sandy: I still don't know what packing cubes are, but glad you are happy with them.
