SANDY

Hi guys, checking in before we pull the trailer down tonight. It WAS quiet but happy to read from all of you since the roll call.

The party and graduation was perfect. It was sunny and hot on Saturday for the party but was able to borrow a huge canopy to put up outside and with the covered patio we had plenty of shade. Have tons of leftovers. Sure wish you all could come by and we could have a party of our own!!!!! Speaking of that, which one of you guys brought napkins to the wine tasting on board that was extra heavy????? I have been all over town looking for them and can't find anything similar. Where did you get them whoever?? Anyway, the girls loved their cake and so did everyone else. Absolutely not one guest knew which girl was which including grandparents in that picture.

Graduation was an emotional one. We are so proud of them and so is Ted's dad. They are the first granddaughters to graduate from college and that is why he took a big bunch of us to the country club afterwards. That was very nice. Had bacon wrapped filet mignon. The graduation itself was very nice. Something like 1000 students. Two families received their diplomas for their children who died after earning their diplomas. That was terribly depressing. We kept in contact with the girls via cell phones and that was fun. Took lots of pictures and video. What set me off crying was that Bryan showed up by himself to the graduation. Talked to Heidi on the cell and then walked over to her to give her a card. Man, when Heidi called me on the phone to tell me he was in the bldg, I lost it. She was fine but not MOM! Ted was about to kill me for crying over it. He took her out to lunch yesterday for graduation so I tried to avoid him but I got home too soon. I pulled into the garage as he was pulling into the driveway to drop her off. He asked for a hug, saw me tear up and said you don't have to. I hate being so emotional. I set Heidi off crying and then Bryan. Up till then, they did pretty good. I have a way of setting alot of people off crying when they see me upset. My soon to be SIL won't be around me when I am upset. He says it upsets him so. Bryan used to say the same thing. Met Heidi's prospective boyfriend and he seems so nice. He would fit in so nicely with our family. Same sense of humor. He is older by 10 years, divorced, with twin 5 year old girls. Will meet the twins this weekend as they are driving down to the campground.

Sorry to hear about all you sickies. Hope everyone is doing better.

Was very happy to read that Krista posted. Hope she will get back on with a much longer post.

Laurie, I was wondering the same. It has been a very long time since Darren sent his last email to Bonnie. Sure hope that he still likes his job. They work soooooooo hard there!

Lori, if I don't get back on before you leave, have a wonderful time. Watch out for that RV. No more stories like last time ok?! I think that you will totally enjoy Mesa Verde. We loved it as a family.

Take care all. I will come back to town for Wed and Thursday and leave Thurs night, be gone till Monday.Sandy

Glad to see everyone checking in for the roll call!!! At least I know I am not alone.

Trying to pack for this weekend. May give my mom a call to see if she will offer to drive me to the airport. At least I can leave an hour later if she does. Otherwise may pay the extra for a cab ride...worth the extra hour's sleep.

Not much new around here. Haven't heard from the kids so I assume all is ok...I guess they don't need me now that all is well with Olivia.

I wish they lived closer.

Sandy- happy to hear the party and graduation went well. I spent Sat. crying also...watched the wedding videos for the first time. I got it all out since I held it back the day of...and to think I am a grandmother less than a year later.

I hope Denine and Jerry are having fun...wish I was there except for the heat.

Susan!! Don't talk so much!!

Glad to hear from Barb and Mom...where's Patti alias Patty?????? Tax season is over!!!

3 days to go!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I haven't been in a chatty mood the last couple of days. I've got a little cold (Paul had it last week). It's not a bad one, just enough to be bothersome.

I went with my dad to the GI doc Monday, they are going to schedule a camer pill endoscopy. The lady who does the scheduling was not in so she is supposed to call us to schedule it. Of course, 2 days later and she still hasn't called. Dad gets his 2nd shot of Procrit today. Hopefully that stuff will do the trick but I still want to know if he has any internal bleeding.

Sounds like a lot of you have some good plans for this weekend. Everyone have fun and be safe.

Later!

Susan...good to hear from you. Some days I am not very chatty either. I have been wondering where my morning coffee buddy is. I would call the schedule person again...don't wait for them to call you. Where has customer service gone?

Well...off to work ! I get to put my training hat on this morning, back to my old haunts down the street.

Have a good one all!

Good Morning!

We are finally going to have warm weather again. Got to get in
gear to plant flowers.

The final days until graduation. Will I be ready for the party??

Hi guys! Just popped in to get caught up. Need to look into some reservations for next week. I hope they aren't necessary, I'd much rather just play it all by ear. Have a good weekend and week if I don't make it back in. Take care, Lori

I don't know. Will anyone be around this weekend to post? Denine is away, I will be away, Sandy away, Lori away. It will be up to those who are left to keep us going.

Mostly packed...anyone have trouble deciding what to wear? All my clothes seem to look alike...just different colors...boring!

2 days to go.

I'll try to post even if I am here all alone this weekend. I hope you all have a great time on your vacations. Maybe Denine will remember to call me and stop by on her way back from WDW.

By the way, for my weigh in yesterday, no gain/no loss. I have to be happy about that. It's always better than an increase.

The big NASCAR race is this weekend here, so traffic will be a nightmare. We used to always go out of town during this time to avoid the gridlock but this year we are staying. There will be no eating out becasue you want be able to get in to eat without a ridiculously long wait. It's good for our local economy but I could do without it.

Later.

Morning all. Just a quick check in as the kids are eating their breakfast and then off to preschool and a nap.

I am tired. I have to say what an awesome mom I am!!!!!!! Stacey dropped off her rabbit last night as they are going to Cancun this morning. The rabbit has already chewed on our walls. They let her sleep with them but Ted and I were determined NOT to do that so we started out not and then she put up such a racket that we slept with her. I am soooooo tired. I mean tired. Geez a full week of that and in the camper for a few days. If she chews on the camper Ted will have a fit! We get her for the wedding also. Something to look forward to. She was great when she lived here as all we did was lock her in Stacey's room with a gate but now her room is the computer room full of cords to chew on so the next best room is ours. YUCK!

Bonnie, you actually watched the wedding video. Don't think I could do that so soon.

Get well Susan! Barb, have fun at graduation. Get good pics and videos!! Lori, have a great time. Julie?????????????

Thanks Laurie and John!! Ted will call John this afternoon. You guys are the best! I am sorry that I missed John's call as I would have loved to talk to him. I thought that it would be best if Ted called John because it is next to impossible to carry a conversation with the little people here. And YES John, the rabbit IS still alive. ;)

Sany-You are an absolutely awsome mom!!! Sleep with a rabbit??? Never! I give you a lot of credit. A little word of advice about a rabbit or any animal in a camper...if it is hot make sure the air is on!! My mom's friend left the dog in a camper without the air on...it died. DUH!

Finishing packing tonight.

Barb I thought I would cry at the graduations but I didn't...actually I guess it helps to have my mom there because for some reason I refuse to cry in front of her. I know, I'm weird!

Susan keep it going!!!! You can't count on my lil sis anymore!!!! JULIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Will check in tomorrow then off to Chicago...maybe Sat before I leave too.

I'll try to keep it going this weekend. Sunday may get skipped since it is Turner's birthday. But, I'll give it my best the rest of the time. Everyone BE SAFE!

Julie - you'll have to help me out this weekend. You have to make Bonnie proud!

OK ENOUGH!!!!!!! I'M HERE!!!!!!!!! Yesterday I was fighting a migraine so I didn't post but I did check the board. Nothing new and exciting here. I did go see Tony and Tina's Wedding at our community theatre tonight and it was very good. I saw the "professional" performance downtown, and this version can stand it's ground with that one.

Garry is ALWAYS working it seems (poor guy!) and now he has more days to work because the other sgt. who is a fat, lazy, lard *** got hurt tripping over his own feet and will be out for at least 2 1/2 weeks!

Makenzie passed her swimming class last Saturday! I was so proud of her. My neice and nephew also took classes too and they both didn't pass. That was my nephew's 2nd time taking the same class as Makenzie. My neice was in the next level class and she didn't pass either. She will be in the same class with Makenzie in the next session. She is 6 yr old. SO I am EXTREMELY tickled that Makenzie passed the first level the first time at 4yrs old. Little things make me so HAPPY! I am so proud of her I could burst! ( ok I know, a little overkill, but I can't help it!)

The Big Guy is the big guy! He's a cutie, but he will be the only 2 yr old at boot camp next year! LOL! He is a handful! But just to reasure everyone, he has learned to drink from a cup!:p

Well, enough from me. I will be here this weekend and will check in! I will try to keep the board going with Susan and anyone else who ISN'T going anywhere!

All of you who are traveling this weekend, HAVE A SAFE AND WONDERFUL TRIP!

I'm still around, just seems that I never have time to post because of work and such. I'll try to post this weekend to do my part.

Can you believe it?!!! Something actually went right for a Cleveland sports team, and it's the Cavaliers of all teams! We got Lebron James in the NBA draft lottery! Now if anyone says they don't know who he is, you've been living underneath a rock. The media has forced him down everyone's throat! He's being called the best player to ever come out of high school. Since the Cavs got him, I'm sure he'll end up hurt or something...they're a snake-bitten team.

Well, you can all wake up now...just had to interject a little "man" talk into the board.

Everyone have a good weekend wherever you're going to be! Lucky me, I get to work overtime on Memorial Day...

Julie-thank you for updating us on M's achievement!!!!! I am so proud of her. The Big Guy...well he must take after the little guy in the house. LOL!!

Now if anyone says they don't know who he is, you've been living underneath a rock.
Thank heavens I get to come out from under my rock this weekend!!! Haven't got a clue who he is.

Lucky me, I get to work overtime on Memorial Day...
Garry- So happy to see that you are working overtime just so you can pay for my next cruise or trip to WDW with you all!! Thank you soooo much!

One day to go...mom is driving me to the airport!!!! Yea mom!!!!! She is awsome!

Some weekend this will be on the thread...I was the last to post this morning and here it is 12 hours later and I am the first to post after me??????

Ok...I won't say goodbye then...nobody to say goodbye to!

Hello. hello. hello..... is there anybody out there? ( all you Pink Floyd fans)

Susan, I thought that you were going to be on to help me keep the thread going!! I hope that everything is going well.

Bonnie I got back on IM so I could chat before you go, but you were off. I will try again later. Maybe around 11ish for a quick bye?
