Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

Good morning! No Bonnie, I am not at Curves. I don't have the time. That is what this post is for. Probably won't be around much this weekend and maybe next week. Graduation all weekend and then pulling the trailer down to the campground for Memorial Weekend probably Monday or Tuesday. Can check in periodically, hopefully.

CONGRATULATIONS, DENINE, JERRY AND KALEIGH. ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY NOW!!!

Having the kids today, unfortunately. I agreed to it before I knew when my girls graduated. My niece is skipping school and going to keep the little ones occupied. Anyone want to come over and clean and set up????? Cooking is almost done. Just need to do the meat and cheese trays. Cooked all last night. Still need that volunteer for cleaning. Anyone????? Please?????

Gotta sign off. Cross your fingers that everything goes well. One good thing, I don't have to cook after the ceremony. Ted's dad is taking us to Mt. Vernon Country Club. Can't wait!!

She is all ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I have the papers to prove it!

Thanks everyone! It is a very happy day. My mom breathed a sigh of relief. She was so afraid something was going to go wrong. Kaleigh was a perfect angel the whole time.

Thanks for the info Julie. Kaleigh is actually sitting up very well now. On Friday, she was still leaning forward, but as of Monday, she sits up straight. I think she was watching all the kids on Saturday and figured out to sit up, not leaning over. We will see how it goes. She sits up almost straight to eat now. She just needed to get the hang of it. Now, she opens her mouth wide and then spits out the food if she doesn't like it!

We will arrive home by the end of the month, so TTFN!
We will be thinking of you all, and hopefully we can get together with Sue tomorrow afternoon.

Very busy today at work...timecards at lunch in between my project management class...I was a little disappointed in it but we now hold the record as being the team (3 of us-2 nurses 1 was male, and a finance person) who brought the project to completion the earliest!! Of course we went 200K over budget! But made up for it in profits. LOL!

Not much doing this weekend...getting ready for next!!! YIPEEE!!!

Sandy, I could have helped on Thursday!
Friday was 11 hours work (I cut out early, heehe) and today we drag the boat out to Chatfield Res. and see if it still floats! (It's a Boston Whaler, so I guess it had better) Then comes Cody's Cub Scout pack meeting and he's bridged to a Wolf. Oh boy. His den will perform that skit that I put together earlier. We'll camp in the tent there tonight and boat some more tomorrow morning. Fun, fun, fun. I'm so glad the weekend has a good forcast. I love the rain showers, but not while living in a tent. Next week we pick up an RV for the Mesa Verde trip. It can rain every night on that trip.

I'm so glad for Denine and Jerry. That was a long wait for a baby.

Sue, I hope your Dad's health gets back on track soon.

One More Week of SCHOOL

Thanks for all the offers to help. It is an hour and a half until it starts. Suppose to be 80 degrees. Now it is windy, too. Borrowed a very nice canopy for additional shade. We have a covered patio and that will help, too. Just last minute stuff to do. Can't wait till this weekend is over! I am exhausted. The cake turned out nice. The girls laughed so we are safe!! Got lots of compliments on the cake while leaving the store. Will try and send a pic later.

I missed Denine. I had been at my brother's house and got stuck in race traffic on the way home. My brother lives about 12 miles away and the Speedway for the NASCAR Winston race this evening is between the two of us (closer to him). The roads become gridlock and I should have prepared better for that. I hope they call us when they come back through on their way home all nice and relaxed from visiting our friend Mickey.

Dad's Ear, Nose and Throat doctor's appointment went well. He does have a sinus infection and they did find an area in his nose that had to be cauterized. He goes back in 4 weeks after 20 days of antibiotic. Monday we go to the GI doctor to have him swallow the camera to look for anything. Wednesday he gets another Procrit shot. Thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes.

On an upside...Dominic, my niece's son, will probably come home tomorrow. I got to see him yesterday and touch him. I have not had a chance to actually hold him yet. That should be soon!

Hope the graduation party goes great. I'm sure it will, Sandy, because you seem to have it all organized.

Lori, have a good camping trip and congrats to Cody the new WOLF.

Friday was a heck of a day at work. I had a patient walking around with a Hgb. of 5.0 &, needless to say, received two units of blood & went up to a Hgb. of 6.8. Then Joyce & I went out for a late dinner. Saturday I was sick AGAIN. The headache was so bad I was throwing up but I THINK I am finally on the road to recovery!

CONGRATULATIONS TO KALEIGH! She's the one who is lucky to get such great parents.

I have had sooooo much to do with the graduation coming up but have not felt well enough to do anything. I am hoping tomorrow will be my "CATCH-UP" day. I probably could have done some things today but my youngest son borrowed my car.

Jeanne...there must be something going around here. I woke up with a headache so bad I thought I was have an stroke then started throwing up! I thought for sure I would die! No more headache or vomiting so I guess it is off to work tomorrow.

SUe...too bad you missed Denine. What a shame. maybe on the way back through.

Felt yuky today but better this afternoon. Had a good day at work at least!!!! Tomorrow afternoon class again and the other supervisor is off...or should I say working from home....hmmm. Then off the next day and I have to train people ! Back to the old grind! LOL!

I haven't been on board for several days but doesn't look like I missed much....everyone must be really busy.

I have been busy as usual trying to get the yard done....one of my friends came over yesterday and helped me finish laying the brick and dig grass out of some of the beds....I really don't care for that job and she loves to dig. We are going today go get about 30 bags of chips to put in the beds.

Weight loss going well....so far have lost 2 more pounds since last Wed. Doesn't sound like much but every little bit helps.

What is going on with all the headaches? Enough already you guys....I use to get them like that but after the change, no more.

Hope everyone gets to feeling better....summer is coming and you can get outside again....our weather has been up and down the last week....and had rain one day.

It is 5:30 in the morning and all is quiet around here....Dick and the dogs are still sleeping.......have a great day everyone!!!!

I'm here and supporting the board!!
It's cold and rainy here today. I hope it continues to rain once or twice a week all summer. With all our water restrictions here the rain is very welcome.

Last night Jaymee and I went to a sports awards banquet. She won several awards it was really special. I managed to hold back the tears however Saturday at graduation I will be crying the entire time. I an anxious to hear how Sandy did.
