Ya'll are very nice to offer to hang out with a 12 year old. I think Lindsey is just so excited to be going. It's our first cruise.

Jules, how did you hurt your arm? If it was so long ago, do you remember anything that you did? My story is that I hurt mine doing housework- that's my story
and I'm sticking to it!

Is anyone doing a door decoration? I've read so many post that have said people steal them off of your door. That would make me pretty mad.

My mind is starting to race with things to do before that cruise, so I may be asking questions from you seasoned cruisers!

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all enjoying a good weekend. It is getting very exciting isn't it - Linda and Jane I cant get overtime in my job, so I send Ian out instead LOL, the xtra money is nice for the cruise isn't it ?

Belinda I have no idea what I did to my arm, I dont remember falling or anything... It is not so bad today but Jane I am looking forward to being pampered. I daren't let Ian pack for me as Linda says I would end up knickerless !!

Last night we met up with some DIS friends in Gloucester, we went to their home had some drinks and a meal, we hadn't met them before and they were lovely, there were six of us all together. The DIS is definately a great way to meet new friends, and I cant wait to meet all of you - my newest friends xx

Hi everyone, Well ive finished work ( well for Sundays anyway! )

Yes we are doing a door sign, but we have personalised it, so hopfully it wont get stolen !!! I would be mad if it did, as im not that good on the PC etc, and it took me a while !

Jules, nice to hear your meet went well, guess you all had quite a bit in common anyway. Wayne plays on the X box 360 and chats with people all over the world, but of course alot of people from the UK. He is planning a met up with a couple from Hertfordshire, who plays a racing ( cars) game on line with him.

Hello to everyone. I hope you all are doing well. I just finished showing the girls the pics of the Wonder leaving PC for its drydock.

It is amazing to think we will be sailing on the Wonder 2 weeks from today. We have had this cruise booked for about 18 mos, we wanted to wait until our youngest DD was 3yrs old so she could really enjoy the fabulous DCL children's program.

Hello Elouise from Kylie and Nicole . We can officially say we are leaving next week once tomorrow comes. I can't wait.
Linda - The girls don't know exactly when we're leaving, we're surprising them on the actual day. We're picking them up from school and heading out. They will be so excited. Did you book the Bippity Boppity Boutique for Eloise at Downtown Disney??
We made our door decorations this weekend and we finished our pirate outfits. I hope nobody takes our door decorations, Nicole and kylie worked hard on them.
There is a thread that everyone should look at, it tells you all sorts of tips for the cruise and stuff you should pack. We got some great ideas from this. Things you would never think of packing.
I bought new luggage today -- Hooray!!!!

Hi jennifer, yes we have booked BBB for Wed 12th oct, after the pirate cruise from Grand Floridian. Elouise wants funky extensions! so we have booed the wed, ready for the Thur cos we are of to the Halloween party , so warning all. look out for a funky witch !!

On our third week we have booked BBB again,and if she wants she can be princessy, with a gown etc, as we are going to 1900 Park fayre for tea.


cos this holiday is going to cost sooooooooooo many $s, better book up some overtime, for when we get back

Started packing now, !!! cos we have 5 cases , and I have one MASSIVE list to check and double check !

I was so happy to change my calendar over to October!

I am worried about getting sick. A girl that sits near me at work is coughing so much and sounds terrible. I am hopeing for a little magic so I will be healthy.

Oh no Sue! Take lots of Vitamin C, drink OJ, wash your area down with disinfectant daily, hmm wash your hands every 10 minutes ok honestly some of that is a good idea hehe....maybe not so extreme.

I've been taking extra Vitamin C the last couple weeks. I work at home so I don't have to worry about sick coworkers....however I worry since I'm not normally around people and with all the wedding stuff I have been that I'll pick something up easy.

Hey remember the old Best Man who decided he wasn't comfortable with that....well he said he'd still be a groomsman though. Well as of last Monday he still hadn't gotten fitted for his tuxedo so Jacob called and emailed him all last week through yesterday with NO response to any of it. A whole week. Last night he finally emailed (yeah just an email) that he wrenched his neck and won't be able to come. SWELL. He's had it for nearly a week and decides less than a week before our wedding to let us know...in an email at that...can't even call Jacob and tell him. I haven't had a wrenched neck...but it seems 2 weeks should have it taken care of? well either way...still upset with how he's handled the situation of letting us know and ingoring phone calls and emails. I'm not overly stressed about it though....so I'm proud of myself! Just feel bad that Jacob is disappointed.

I'm jealous of all you packing!!! Normally I'd be packed up a week ago hehe, but I think I won't get to until next Sunday!! I've got most of it in a pile though...clothes at least...but there is so much more to do than that.

JennD, I am jealous. You are from Fla like me but you are still getting to count your vacation early. I am not doing the parks so my vacation starts on the 15th. BTW My DH and I road his motercycle down to SBI for lunch yesterday and then we went to Wabasso Beach. I thought about you since I was in your neigborhood.

Kelly, That doesn't sound extreme at all! I want to enclose my desk in a plastic bubble and use some industrial strength Lysol every 5 minutes. Do you think the sick girl would be offended?

Jules, that is so funny! I want to go over and tell her that "My friend Jules said that you should go home." She would think I am such a nutter!

Jane I am unsure when I will see the surgeon it is the National Health Service so probably next June LOL they are not very prompt !! I am sure he will prescribe sun, spa treatments, cocktails and new friends ...

so sorry to hear about the 3 school girls in the USA getting shot. How very very sad. I heard it on the news, and had to go up to Elouise, who was asleep in bed, and give her a cuddle.Life is sooo precious. At school you expect your kids to be safe. What a scarey world.
