It is so hot here! We are having some crazy warm weather for October so far. We have had a high around 94 for the past few days! ( I think that is about 34 for you U.K. friends). It is so not normal. We should be around 74. (23 C.) I may need to go to the Bahamas to cool off!

it has been cold here (low 80s) but i am ALWAYS cold. you will probably see a lot of my jacket on the cruise but aunt susan you might not want to come here either i was really sick like a week and a half ago for two weeks and then the doctor perscribed antibiotics and i was fine until i ran out of medicine and now i am back to being sick again. its just not fair.

We have all been a bit quiet this past few days, I suppose we are all getting busy preparing now - and getting excited ....
I hope that Kelly is ok and not too stressed out, I suppose we will not hear much from her this week, but I know that we are all thinking of her and hope she is doing ok
Linda - not long now - two more sleeps until you go to Gatwick, where are you staying Friday night ? For next Thursday night we have booked into a converted farmhouse about 10 mins from Gatwick, they have a jacuzzi bath and two country pubs within walkind distance which is what helped make the decision to stay there Hope that you are not stressing about the packing and are getting a bit of time to chill !!

Low 80s cold hahahah you're too funny That is way too hot for me! I like it to be about 60 to be comfortable! of course they are predicting a high of 77 for Saturday!!! Darn. But it is supposed to be a nice day at least.

I'm getting quite a bit done, stayed up late last night getting my work done ahead for the next few days - Not fun! My bosses have given me the honeymoon off completely though....they just told me yesterday that I don't need to work ahead for that thank goodness!! They are also sending us gifts off our registry! woohoo! (my bosses live in a different state...everyone I work with does lol)

Jacob and I plan on packing Sunday after we return from the hotel.

For the cruise meet:

Isn't it going to be really crowded at the Mickey pool at 3pm?
If we are able to make it there, how will we know who you are!?!

Also, for you previous cruisers:

What time can you board the ship?
What time do you get to go to your room?
What time does your luggage arrive to your room?

There are so many different answers on the other threads, so I thought I would ask my "cruisin' friends" !!

Well I have never cruised before but since I seem to be "Unofficially" in charge of the cruise meet I will try to answer your questions.

I am not sure but I don't think it will be super crowded by the Mickey pool at 3. However it may be somewhat busy. I will however try to have some means of making my location obvious. Not sure what yet but I think that you should look for lime green since that is the official DIS color.

From what I have read here these are the other answers

What time can you board the ship?
Usually about noon but as we will be right after dry dock be prepared to wait.

What time do you get to go to your room?
I think it is one or two but again......

What time does your luggage arrive to your room?
I have heard people say it was ther when they got to their room, I have heard people say not till after dinner so......be prepared. I think MOST get it before the 4:00 drill.

Hi Belinda

Last year we got on the ship at 11.00am, we were let into our room at 1.30pm and our luggage was there at about 4.30 if I remember correctly !
I dont think we have planned how will we recognise each other, I have seen photos of Linda and Family, Kelly and Jake, Jane and Ali, Sue and Janet will be with Jane and Ali so I guess if I find Jane I will find them ... Maybe we should all wear something lime green, a ribbon or something ? Any suggestions anyone ? I suppose if we hear laughter we will know we are all together LOL

In 2004 I got to embark at about 11:30.
I got to go to my room about 1:00 and one of my suitcases was already there but one was not. It showed up right after the safety drill I think.
