Obviously you both have missed numerous posts on the conservative thread and on other threads. First, I haven't met IRL or on this board any person who blindly follows John McCain. Second, I have seen many point out the fallacies in the proposed policies/promises of BO. Third, there have many been posts about positives of McCain's proposals.

I really wish the McCain bashers would make up their minds -- either he is not conservative enough for us conservatives or he is the third term of Bush -- obviously it can't be both. Please make up your minds.
Well, I don't read the conservative thread, nor the liberal thread, because I am neither, and I the few glances I've taken showed me that both are just a bunch of people patting themselves on the back for how wonderful they are and laughing about how stupid the other side is.

Yes, there are a few threads questioning Obama's policies, but there are easily outnumbered at least 10 to 1 by crap like "OMG!! Did you know Obama's middle name is HUSSEIN!!!????" and "Look at this email I got! Obama wants to turn America into a Muslim nation!!!"

It's very funny though, because it happens every election year. People on both sides lament that the other side's supporters "follow him blindly" yet can't admit that people on their own side do the same thing. I'll admit, McCain is somewhat an exception to this usual rule, but I don't for one second believe it's because Republicans (and I am one) are "above" it. As many Republicans admitted early on when Mitt Romey dropped out of the race "I will hold my nose and vote for McCain." Naturally, you would expect these people to oppose some of his policies more than would a "supporter" of any candidate.

And as for your last sentence, you again show what happens when you assume. Yes, some McCain bashers think he's not conservative enough. Others think he's W the second. I've never heard the same person say both things about him, so I know of no one who has to "make up their minds". :rotfl:

The only thing non-BO supporters have observed is the complete and unquestionable adoration of BO by OS. The references to Messiah/Jesus/adding to the Bible -have come from OS directly, yourself excluded. I have likened BO to a rock star -- I will never equate him to Jesus/ or another religious figure.

I must have been sleeping for the past 8 years -- I missed all the fervor over GWB. :confused3

Again...wow!

*What* policies??? :confused3 I think thats a big part of the concern with those of us whom dont care for BO - which IMO, is an amusing way to refer to him, as. :rotfl:
Thank you for proving my point. Instead of going to his website to hear what he has to say and comment on it, we get kindergarten giggling over his initials. :lmao:

:lmao: But not the first time a OS has said that to me on these boards!

That is EXCATLY how I see Obama!

I am neither a Bush Supporter nor a Obama supporter!

Mentally ill and addicted to drugs is "EXACTLY" how you see Obama??? I can see disagreeing with his platform or positions on certain issues, but calling someone things that are totally ridiculous and unfounded is a little over the top don't you think?

And comments like this are never made about GWB or McCain or Clinton -- yeah, right.

He he - youre funny.

Ive been to his website. I know he wants change. Still dont know how he intends on doing such. :confused3 He's my Senator. He hasnt changed jack, here.

Again - IMO - :3dglasses

I for one never said any of them were mentally ill or drug addicts....and I have never seen anyone else post that about the three you mentioned.

You really want to defend a statement like that???

In agentpleakley's defense, if we're considering alcohol as a drug, then President Bush does happen to be a self admitted drunk. See that, a.p....I've got your back!! :thumbsup2

Also Official pics like this are NO Accident.

Was Huckabee's bookcase cross in his Christmas ad also "no accident?"

Disunc, this isn't directed towards you personally, but I remember plenty of people insisting that Huckabee's cross was unintentional, and I'm sure some of them would be the first to nod and agree with you about Obama's "O".

Of course, I don't expect anyone to admit to such hypocrisy.

I guess calling GWB satan - is different then:confused3

I have heard plenty of such things said about the people agentpleakley mentioned. :confused3 Maybe you meant to phrase your comment differently?

Im well aware of what he wants - but even reading snippets of your link - I still have no clue how he proposes to go about doing such.

Sorry. Im not a supporter. And my gut tells me not to trust him.

AGAIN - he is my Senator - he made no changes here. Dick Durbin (our other Senator) would say not to worry since Obama wasnt around - he was taking care of things. Never saw BO speak publicly, or on the news, or anything of the sort.

THATS what I know of BO.

I was specifically addressing the drug addict and mentally ill comment....if you want to drag up ever little name a republican was called on these boards, then yay you got me, you win!!!!! Not like the reps are so kind and sweet to dems....you gotta admit that.

But does it need to continue? If it does then I guess I should jump in too with some really ridiculous statements about all the usual rep suspects. :duck: :duck: :duck:

Oh, get over yourself, Laugh O Grams. That's typical elitist snobbery -behaving as though those who think differently from you are mouthbreathers, not fit for pleasant company.

Your signature is great example of what we find so laughable about the Obama campaign... the earnest gaze; the clouds and mixed light; the bold tagline asking us to BELIEVE. This is truly worthy of critical examination.

What's even funnier is how McCain is adopting similar campaign photos...have you seen the ones that are almost identical to Obama's. Guess McCain and his camp found the pics inspiring too.
