Closing Time!

When you think about it, I'd rather they get the docs out to the seller first since it's usually the seller's docs that hold up the closing more than the buyer's closing docs or funds. And, when you're buying, you don't really get to see that side of things. You just sort of hope and trust that they got the docs out to the seller and that the seller is motivated to get them back quickly. But, I certainly understand wanting to get everything done as quickly as you can.

Yes I am always the first one to get my docs in. When I used Magic I paid for a same day notary that comes to your house.

Kind of for nothing because my international sellers took weeks later to sign. Im not playing when it comes to my DVC points

The seller took 5 days to sign this one so I need to accept that this could take a little bit. When I was dealing with the international buyer I offered to find a pay for a notary for them

I went with Mason for the third time and now I see on this thread that theyve been taking like a week to send closing docs or more these days. Asked a question and it went unanswered. I wish I would have gone with my gut and tried something new.

Jordan was very responsive every time I e-mailed her.

I love jordan too ive had her each time ive used Mason and shes so kind and responsive.

This was a wild ride as someone who is waiting for ROFR but knows that if it were to pass Jordan would be our closing person at Mason.

Sorry I do this a lot, the best method is to ignore me and check an hour later because things most likely changed by then if im worried about something .

Yes you will most likely get Jordan because ive never had anyone else and I would recommend to request her. She emailed me before I passed rofr letting me know she was going to be my closer again, did she email you?

Yes she already let me know she got my closing docs and she never acts irritated when you ask for updates. Ive closed with her twice before and its been nothing but smooth and positive!

Checked in to VB earlier this evening. Staying 4 nights. First impression - we really like it!

After that, RIV this summer. And, looking like we'll do a 3-night Halloween trip for MMNSCHP. Currently have BLT 1 BR Preferred booked. Also playing some DVC slots with a VGF 1 BR Resort view and a BLT 1 BR Resort view. I'm honestly getting more and more tempted to try VGF since it will just be 3 nights - the increased points don't hurt so much for just 3 nights .

Ive heard the one bedroom vgf rooms are big and really nice thats also on my radar too for our next trip after the summer one! Im glad you like VB I really like the rooms for some reason I never slept better I am a light sleeper and I straight knocked out in the middle of daylight afternoon, maybe a momth of Disney world will do that to you lol but my wife also so it was her favorite room out of them all which surprised me! I would like to know how the water is when you get a chance and also if mosquitoes are out and biting

I'll be sure to do a full trip report after our stay. Everything has gone well so far, but we've got 3 full days ahead so will see what we think after there full experience.
