Well, I don't read the conservative thread, nor the liberal thread, because I am neither, and I the few glances I've taken showed me that both are just a bunch of people patting themselves on the back for how wonderful they are and laughing about how stupid the other side is.Obviously you both have missed numerous posts on the conservative thread and on other threads. First, I haven't met IRL or on this board any person who blindly follows John McCain. Second, I have seen many point out the fallacies in the proposed policies/promises of BO. Third, there have many been posts about positives of McCain's proposals.
I really wish the McCain bashers would make up their minds -- either he is not conservative enough for us conservatives or he is the third term of Bush -- obviously it can't be both. Please make up your minds.
Yes, there are a few threads questioning Obama's policies, but there are easily outnumbered at least 10 to 1 by crap like "OMG!! Did you know Obama's middle name is HUSSEIN!!!????" and "Look at this email I got! Obama wants to turn America into a Muslim nation!!!"

It's very funny though, because it happens every election year. People on both sides lament that the other side's supporters "follow him blindly" yet can't admit that people on their own side do the same thing. I'll admit, McCain is somewhat an exception to this usual rule, but I don't for one second believe it's because Republicans (and I am one) are "above" it. As many Republicans admitted early on when Mitt Romey dropped out of the race "I will hold my nose and vote for McCain." Naturally, you would expect these people to oppose some of his policies more than would a "supporter" of any candidate.
And as for your last sentence, you again show what happens when you assume. Yes, some McCain bashers think he's not conservative enough. Others think he's W the second. I've never heard the same person say both things about him, so I know of no one who has to "make up their minds".

Not lost, just predictable and irrelevant IMO.
Not like the reps are so kind and sweet to dems....you gotta admit that.
