Hardball should change it's name to Softball. Chris never did ask him about voting for torture. He really did not ask him much of anything. One student asked if he was a typical white guy and McCain just danced around that. When asked if Obama is an elitist he said "no, but what he said was elitist".Then he said about the same thing Hillary has been saying.
I just half listened to him. He really has a monotone voice and he just answered with all the talking points.
He did say he wouldn't pick Tom Ridge as VP because Ridge is pro-choice. He than went on and on about the rights of the unborn. Wish he cared a bit more about the rights of the born.
It would be nice if Hillary went on too, but since Chris doesn't really like her I don't see that happening.
Oh brother, are you kidding? Hardball has become Softball? Well I guess we know who Chris has a soft spot for![]()
I agree with you, if we gave half as much interest to the living we wouldn't have nearly the problems that we do at the moment![]()
Thanks for answering, I just can't listen to the guy's answers. He's just not the same as the 2000 candidate.
I got a call the other day from the Obama campaign.....asking my DH if I would like to go to Pennsylvania this weekend to campaign.
How cool is that....Has anyone ever done that?
DH told them....slim chance she's going to WDW on Thurs![]()
OH well maybe next time![]()

In Michigan if voting today Obama over McCain or McCain over Hillary. I thought she loved our state and we counted for her, I think this might make her change her mind?!?!?!? It was all over the am news by us.
"Obama, the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, leads McCain 43 percent to 41 percent, according to the survey by Lansing polling firm EPIC-MRA. Obama's lead is well within the poll's error margin of 4 percentage points, however. McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, holds a 46-37 edge over Clinton" http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080414/POLITICS/804140415/1022/rss10
McCain also said yesterday on Hardball that he would not consider anyone for his VP who is pro-choice.
Danger, Will Robinson, danger.
I got an email asking me as well. Unfortunately, I have local campaign work to get done this weekend, and a client meeting on monday back in Tortola, so I declined.I got a call the other day from the Obama campaign.....asking my DH if I would like to go to Pennsylvania this weekend to campaign.

Just as Elton John endorsed Clinton for president, the Boss is signing off on Obama's bid to be the Democratic nominee.

In a letter to friends and fans today, Springsteen wrote, "Like most of you, I've been following the campaign and I have now seen and heard enough to know where I stand. Senator Obama, in my view, is head and shoulders above the rest."
Invoking his own songs, Springsteen said Obama "speaks to the America I've envisioned in my music for the past 35 years, a generous nation with a citizenry willing to tackle nuanced and complex problems, a country that's interested in its collective destiny and in the potential of its gathered spirit. A place where '...nobody crowds you, and nobody goes it alone.'
Wow, that's quite an interesting poll, are you local & what do you make of it? Do you have a pulse on what's going with how people are viewing all this? Oh & I guess you would be a state (afterall) that wouldn't count... You're among good company though, there are lots of us here from those states LOL
.What's the matter Doug (Schoen - author of article) running out of ideas and need a few new ones from the little people? Here's my advice, give Hillary a few more shots of whiskey and then tell her to go home
"Clinton has provided a compelling case for her candidacy thus far."
Hello! Are we talking about the same person!? Compelling case? Because the chicken-*&^&& Super Delegates aren't doing their job? She flouts the rules, she lies, she mismanages her campaign and money, she is inauthentic, she wouldn't know her %$*&^% if it reared up and bit her, she listens to people who give her bad advice, she's on both sides of issues ... NAFTA and Colombia, she has an out of control husband who happens to be a former President who could pose countless conflict of interest problems, she can't get the facts straight late at night according to said husband so this should what? ... make us feel all warm and fuzzy about her being anywhere near the red phone at 3 a.m.? If this is a compelling case for a candidacy for President, we're in big trouble. Someone obviously forgot to tell the Clintons, the Super Delegates and this reporter that TRUTH is back in vogue, and is the freight train bearing down on them.
She should go negative? She should go PERIOD.
I think HRC would make an admirable president EXCEPT for her apparent lack of judgement when it comes to important men in her life. She believed her husband when he was unfaithful, she believed GWBush when it came to Iraq, and she put her faith in a man like Mark Penn, who was talking out of both sides of his mouth. Her ability to discern when men are lying to her is sadly lacking.
The Media gave a free pass to Senator Barack Obama. Senator Hillary Clinton is in a very closed race. She is a fighter.
Keep moving forward. Ten more primaries. I am looking forward for tonight's debate.
Senator Hillary Clinton is not afraid of using a tough approach. If Senator Obama is not able to handle strong competition, he needs to get out. Vote for the best and strongest candidate in November. Vote for Senator Hillary Clinton.
I was so excited to see Bruce supporting Obama, as a NJ resident and huge fan of Bruce, I am so happy!!!!![]()
