Thanks, I found a live feed. WPVI
I think Charlie and George need to be smacked. These questions being asked about Rev. Wright are supposed to mean what? WTH does Rev Wright's patriotism has to do with anything?????
Whatever is brought up is fine with me, as long as the tough questions are equally leveled on both.
Does the TV broadcast have the audience feedback graph? He's doing MUCH better than she is.![]()
One of our "friends" from the other side has an ABC debate thread going (he's on my ignore, but I wasn't signed in so I've been reading along) Wonderful thread , so far its him and a couple of cons...One of ours was posting and one of their good ones are posting but its mostly him and his con friends having a Hillary love fest. It's quite entertaining...Hillary is winning the debate,
...
Personally it seems pretty much a tie to me.
So will George or Charlie ask her about the 'screw them' comment? Somehow, I don't think so.![]()
I hope that gets out somewhere, (other than MSNBC, not that that;s bad but I just hope it catches on everywhere else.) especially before next week!...
Did they bring up the Columbia/Nafta $800,000 stuff? I tuned in late to the debate, so not sure what I missed.
No, they did not. The bulk of the earlier questions focused on those critical election issues: God, patriotism, and guns.![]()
I thought this was the Dem Debate???Maybe this was a practice run for Obama in Nov. and Hill was sitting in for McBush...

When the Right Wing Radio questions take up 54 minutes of the debate, don't be surprised when the con's on the board & Hillary fans are happy![]()
I would have liked to have heard anything on Columbian trade, even NAFTA, anything on any trade issue, heard NADA....
Why do they call it a debate? It was just questions and answers. I noticed that whenever she was being untruthful she would look up to the ceiling, a lot of eye movement going on.
I can not believe that George asked that question about the Weatherman, but he did at one time work for the Clintons. Maybe they called in a favor. But I think it backfired on her.
I thought Obama did well, but I don't think there was enough substance to convince people sitting on the fence to jump off for one or the other.
Agreed. The part of the the q&a that focused on National Enquirer-like questions should have caused the 'journalists' Gibson and Stephanopolous to feel as though they were rolling slime.
You know, post debate, people are saying he looked on defense or aggravated during the questions, particularly the first 50 minutes... actually I thought he answered the questions pointedly that were asked of him for the most part, he didn't raise his voice, he didn't get angry, he kept his composure. If it were my DH being grilled about something someone did when they were 8, I guarantee you he'd pounce across the table at them... if he were answering the same questions for the fifth day regarding a non-issue he'd probably start raising his voice and maybe even yelling LOL.... Personally I'd lose my cool far sooner, he's the nicer of the two of us in that regard.
My point being? I thought he performed amazingly well even during the 54 minutes of mud that was slung at him.... his voice never raised, and he looked at the camera and the people.... unlike Hillary, who could only on rare occasions the last half hour look into the camera or at the people. What was it with that anyways?
