Has this thread evolved into a debate thread? Not want to start a debate, but....:rolleyes1

I think anyone and everyone should be welcome, but I wish the focus was back on Obama supporters! A positive place to talk about his campaign.

It has, that's for certain...

But the good news of the day? The daily Gallup tracking poll, largest national lead to date I believe.

Gallup Daily: Obama 51%, Clinton 40%

PRINCETON, NJ -- Barack Obama is maintaining his lead over Hillary Clinton among Democrats nationally in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking, with a 51% to 40% margin in the April 12-14 average.

More human? Don't you mean more pandering? Do you really think she downs boilermakers on a regular basis? I know all candidates do things like this, bowling comes to mind, but IMO it just makes them politicians.

I'm going to give Hillary credit. Any politician who doesn't down boilermakers regularly and decides to on the campaign trail is a brave politician indeed.

And since apparently it went down so smooth, I wouldn't be so sure this is the first one.

And "bittergate" hasn't seemed to make a difference either.

My apologies if someone has already posted this.

I was on the road today and I listened to every radio gasbag on the dial. And the neo-nuts are going on and on and on about how "bittergate" is the end of the Obama campaign and he's unraveling.

I thought to myself "what are the neo-nuts and the Clinton campaign going to do if it doesn't"?

They counted him out after the Rev. Wright flap. They counted him out after the "Michelle Obama" flap. They counted him out after the "flag pin" flap. So, far he's still standing and even standing taller.

And then, the neo-nuts pull out their stock in trade answer: "It'll make a difference in the general election". Here's with the problem with that thinking. By September, all of these flaps will be old news. In this day of YouTube and a 24 hr news cycle, everybody hears everything at the same time. There's no downtime.

Come September/October, the war will still be going on, the economy will still be sinking, etc.

Let the games begin.

And hey, did you hear about Hillary's "100 Mayors for Hillary" campaign event?

19 mayors showed up.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

'Course, we knew they were bad at math, but c'mon! :happytv:

I'm guessing this was one of 'em.

You're such a Kool-aid drinker.

McCain is on Hardball and just said he doesn't believe in torture. I'm waiting for Chris to ask him why he voted for it. Let's hope he gets some hard questions.

Tell us what he says.... not worth turning on to watch, but a quick rundown would be good...

Darn revy, just coming here to post it! I loved it!

How about us pulling ahead of HRC in IN - up by 5? :worship:

We're ahead by 5, but there's a large percentage of undecideds thus far... either way you look at it, she will not gain on the delegate lead in any substantial fashion....

I did not see Hardball. If anyone did, would you briefly summarize McBush's key points, or lack thereof.....

You manage to be smart and goofy at the same time :goodvibes . Seriously, I don't want a leader with a stick up his or her butt. I don't get that vibe from Obama, he has his own goofy edge to him ... those ears for instance.

I was watching a report that one of the news stations did with Obama and one of his aides handed him a picture that a kid drew of him. He smiled at it and said "oh, we're hanging this one up on the bus-just LOOK at those ears!" :lmao:

I like seeing the human side of the candidates-when it's authentic. I'm also not particularly worried about the intelligence of either Hillary or Obama.

I donated to the Obama campaign earlier today, I loved this tagline from the acknowledgement email I received:

There's nothing 'elitist' about 1,322,325 donating to our campaign for change.
