DON'T get too excited, you'll jinx us!!!

But seriously, this is the first and only poll I've seen taken this week, I'd like to see other pollster's polls, but they are all from a week ago...

:rotfl2: I tend to be pessismistic when it comes to politics so it was a rarity of me to be optimistic. :)

I like what I'm seeing regarding the tracking polls too.

The remarks were from a prepared speech! And she has said it on more than one occassion.
Oh, now, who among us hasn't had the occasional slip of the tongue and accidentally said that we'd experienced sniper fire? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just don't get TOO excited, seriously, we'll be jinxed for sure! What polls are you watching? Anything current?

You're right, she made that comment at least 3 times, but then again she mentioned N. Ireland more than a few times as well....

But then think about John McCain, that man would be downright dangerous :scared1:

We picked up another point in the Gallup tracking poll. Hillary was up 7 after Pastor-gate and today we're up by 2.

No doubt about that - Hillary would be far better than McCain. :scared1:

The latest from Hillary:

Not 'my pastor' Posted: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 1:36 PM by Domenico Montanaro
Filed Under: 2008, Clinton
From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Clinton decided to weigh in on the Rev. Jeremiah Wright controversy, telling the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, "He would not have been my pastor," Clinton said. "You don't choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend."

Whoa Nellie. You chose your spouse lady and you stayed with him despite his numerous flings and lies. Your choice. But if you're saying Obama is accountable for Wright's words/actions, then you are responsible for Bill's.

Is that a National poll?

Honu, couldn't agree with you more...

You can't have it both ways, can you? Great points!!!:thumbsup2

But this is the world according to Clinton. You know the place where things count except wehn they don't count, where overexagerrating one's executive management and leadership is mis-speaking but when other people do it they are lying, and where a complicated marriage to a troublesome spouse somehows translate to a sense of entitlement to the highest position in the US govt.

It must be really interesting living in the world according to Clinton.;)

I was just in our pantry and they had CNN on the tv and it was Hillary talking about Wright while trying to sound holier than thou and reviving this. I knew she couldn't stay quiet on it for too long.

Hooray!!! Great news!
(Just for information, is North Carolina considered a legitimate state by Clinton, or is one of those places that is irrelevant? Someone really should print a map-I have a hard time keeping straight which states are allowed in her US, and who isn't.)

North Carolina doesn't count, 'cause she can't win there in November. Only states that Democrats can win in November can count, and of those, only those that she wins.

EXCELLENT point!!! :thumbsup2

I can't even post what comes to mind when I hear her trying to race bait and get into this!!! I would be outta here faster than you could say...well, before you could say much of anything.

How anyone can continue to support that woman is beyond me...and no, I'm not convinced she'd be better than McCain at all. At least he's done something selfless in his freaking life, which is more than you can say for that bag of wind.

Well, it's all she's got. It irritates me, but I try to keep it in perspective. I think Bill/Hill are privately in all out panic mode. He's got a legacy to protect, she's put up with a lot of (whatever word you want) over the years, including all the humiliation thanks to Bill, and has endured so she could be the first woman president. They are so upset and off their game they are willing to alienate the African-American vote-a bedrock of the Democratic party.

She must really need the 60-85 year old white men in Pennsylvania to vote for her....

Email CNN with the points made above, can't have it both ways, and where has she renounced Pastor Manning of Harlem? Just curious.....

she probably wanted to wait a few days when the story fizzled and something came up about her (her foreign policy gaffes) and then weigh in on Wright so we get another week of the story.

WTH is Dean doing? Not much leading IMO. If he was, he'd grow a pair and tell her to drop out.

They are trying to do anything to save face - it looks so pathetic. All they can do is pray to hold on to the 60+ vote.

barelypolitical.com has the newest Obama girl video. The message is good and my husband didn't mind the visuals either! ;)

Although I think we're all in agreement, here's what I got off the dailykos regarding what could be a response from Obama... this would be a smart move. I'm far too vindictive myself, so I couldn't do it myself!

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/3/25/16142/7115/90/484012

Obama's decision on how to deal with Clinton reigniting the Wright controversy will decide how long this stays in the MSM. I think his response should be to say what he said in his speech, that Americans will decide whether they want to focus on the issues or the distractions. That he is betting that Americans want to focus on the issues and that is what he will be doing. He, and his campaign, should then resist the temptation to get brought back into this controversy. Anything more will just keep it going.
