Put the coffee on. Looks like a late night.:surfweb:

Great article above, I really do hope voter's read it before going to the poll's today.

I think the initial primary in Texas ends at 9pm, the caucus goes later, but we should have some numbers from Texas at some point starting after 9pm...

Hopefully everybody got out this morning in Ohio to vote, before the worst of the weather started coming in....

Vermont 7 pm EST
Ohio 7:30 EST
Rhode Island 9 pm EST
Texas 12 am EST

12 am in TX?!? Oh man, looks like someone's skipping the gym tomorrow morning...

I'm thinking New Jersey's predictions look pretty spot on to me, albeit I'm hoping for a closer finish in OH...

Texas Primary closes at 9pm, I think the caucus is what goes later, like midnight...

I prefer Obama, but I have not been posting on this thread. I don't know if there are as many Obama supporters saying they won't vote for Hillary if she wins the nomination as there are Hillary supporters saying they won't vote for Obama, but to be fair since I posted over there...

There is a lot at stake in this next election. There will be deaths and retirements of Supreme Court Justices in the next few years. If reproductive rights and gay/lesbian rights mean less to you than the personality of the candidate then we have serious problems.

I agree. Obama is my choice for the primary, but I hold no ill will toward Hillary. I worked for Bill Clinton's campaign in 92 and 96 and even met Hillary when she stumped for Bill in 92.

If she wins the nomination I will campaign for her as hard as I can. I hope the party can truly unite behind whichever candidate we choose. They are both worthy!

Yesterday's polls showed Hillary up by 8 here, but I think it's going to be a lot closer than that. Driving into downcity this morning was a total Obamafest with lots of "honk if you voted for Obama" signs everywhere.

Thanks for the update! :goodvibes

I agree with you....I think he will do really well in urban areas, but not as well in more rural sections..I think this one will be reasonably close

I think if we get 65% in VT, it will be a sign of a possibly better than expected night for Obama. If Ohio isn't called for Clinton within 30 minutes of polls closing, I'd say its closer than the double digit win I'm expecting for Clinton.

As far as TX goes, it's anyone's guess. If RI isn't called right away, it's another good sign for us - I hope you are right about your state Jenny! :)

And congrats!!

I'm off to the gym to calm my nerves and then I'll be back for a bottle of wine and Keith Olbermann.

As predicted, Obama wins Vermont! :woohoo:

1 for 1! Let's hope its 65% so we win 10 delegates to HRC's 5. No call in OH yet - which means its not a landslide so good news so far!

I'm so nervous!!!

I agree--if she were ahead by 8% or better they'd call it.

Okay anyone watching MSNBC - they just went to Norah O'Donnell for exit polls and she creepily walked out from behind the "Decision 2008" sign on stage...I don't know...it was just a bit creepy since it was zoomed so far close to the sign.

Yuck, the CNN predictions for Ohio :scared1:

If Cleveland doesn't close their polls until 9pm, shouldn't they wait until then to release numbers?
