Obama supporters! - A positive place to talk about his campaign

If you look back through the debt reports for previous months, you'll see that many of those schools and small catering and other event vendors have been on the list for months. :sad2: Someone from the Clinton camp went on Morning Joe to say the bills are being paid. I'll be interested to see how many of them have come off the list in the next report.

That list really got to me. I'm sure the Clinton campaign sees paying nonprofits on time as no big deal-as long as they eventually get paid. (And the fact that it bothers me is probably a sign of my lack of sophistication.) I kept my thoughts to myself when they were all holed up in rooms and suites at the Bellagio. Fine-if you've got the money-plop your patootie in the Ballagio. But, if you're even a few days late paying bills to a non-profit, you're pretty low rent to me. That's just shameful.

Wolfson was just on now saying how all those bills were either being paid or are paid already, and he doesn't know why they're still on the list....

He also says that Obama calling for her to drop out isn't going over well at all in all the remaining states...last I checked he hasn't called for anything...

He also says the contest is virtually tied, so they're not worried.... :wizard:

Someone needs to explain to the Clinton campaign about video tapes. Just as there was one of her bravery in Bosnia, there is also one of Obama last weekend stating that Hillary should stay as long as she wants.
All I want is a little integrity. Is that asking too much? These sound bites aimed at folks who don't really know the truth are really pathetic.

When she's on stage saying these things, people aren't looking to see if he's actually said it. They don't say other Obama supporters are saying it, they say HE is saying it....

You are asking too much when looking for integrity IMHO.. they've got none.

Stiffing hundreds of vendors for the love of god....

Well, he is most unconventional, he's taking questions at a gas station!!!

The next time one of "them" tries to sell the idea that only Hillary can get things done because of how tough she is, send 'em this link:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/30/AR2008033002401_pf.html

The article is about the relationship between McCain and Obama, but it basically tells the story of how Barack, a relative neophyte in congress at the time, played McCain and most of the Republican-led congress and, in the end, won out with a much stronger ethics reform bill than would otherwise have been passed.

Highly recommended reading! :thumbsup2

Interesting & not surprising... I vaguely remember when they tried working together and the messages that went back and forth.

On an aside, we picked up a Super today.... Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar

On an aside, we picked up a Super today.... A Senator from Minnesota... Her name was quite long so I don't remember it's spelling!

That'd be Amy Klobuchar. :thumbsup2 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/03/31/minn-sen-amy-klobuchar-_n_94247.html

Also, he's set to pick up SEVEN more shortly. House members from North Carolina are apparently planning to endorse as a group.

And the Times has an article saying that some of Hillary's "closest confidantes" will urge her to quit if she loses either Pennsylvania (unlikely) OR Indiana (very possible). I'll take that with a rather large grain of salt, however. ;)

Even though we knew this already, Obama won more delegates out of Texas!
That's great news!! But,oh, no! Does this mean Texas isn't a state anymore? Will it now be dropped from the list of the United States that Count???:rotfl:

LOL! Well, duh! Of course it meanTexas is really not a state and so it does not count. Only Florida and Michigan count.;)

Bagdad Bob all over again.

Clinton just loves that spin...I was just reading on Yahoo that she says Obama and our campaign is trying to "stop the votes" when they keep calling for her to quit. Obama said yesterday she should stay in. :confused3

Enough of the pandering.

It's sad and disturbing. I could understand someone being a fighter, but at some point, you have to accept reality. I don't know whether she actually believes the stuff her campaign says or she's no longer able to tell the difference.

I don't know if she a liar, a panderer, or just delusional. It is very sad to watch because if she had kept that part of her in check, she might've taken it all. If she hadn't gone negative against Obama, thereby sending her negatives sky high, she might've been able to win the nonimation. Now, she's seems like a sad shell of what she was 6 months ago.

Obama was just on the Today show and he said AGAIN that Hillary should stay in the race as long as she wants.

I also learned that he's a Rolling Stones guy.

I thought this op ed was quite good. It's certainly OK for her to stay in, but I do get somewhat annoyed when the race is portrayed as a dead heat.
