You can find Mel on the basketball court.

You can find Chad and Louise in the adult pool.

You can find Jesse and Cory roaming around with their teen friends, hopping from The Stack to the Goofy pool to Pluto's to sitting in the promenade lounge playing on-screen trivia.

You can find me...ain't gonna tell ya!:rotfl:

Champagne tasting? kitchen touring? Captain greeting?

Spa, hair appointment, verdana....SHOPPING!!!!!

Did I tell you that I got the cutest purse and wallet on the repo? They are fossil. I'll find them on ebay and show you the linkie...the wallet was actually a Mother's Day gift from Molly. It needed the purse to make it feel safe....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I can't find them on ebay...oh well, I'll tell you then. The wallet is small fold over, white with multi colored hearts on it and it says i love you and j'tamie. The purse is red, ruby deep red.

So the funny story that go with them. I use a disney backpack sack as my most recent purse, but since I got this cool new one I moved right into it and then next day had to take it to the beach in Acapulco. I carried that darn purse like it was a baby. Watch out don't get it wet...(yes a direct quote to the DH of a dear friend) as he came in towelling off from the ocean plunge, over my PURSE!!!! Then what should happen, but a beer gets spilled all over it. Totally perfect and funny (ya gotta know me to laught right) I move out of the purse when we get back on the ship, and now it sits next to my real purse, backpack waiting for an outing....

Nan, the beer scent on the Fossil just adds to it's charm, you know, scratch and sniff!

Hey Everyone - Well I am definetly back into the swing of things. That strep really kicked my butt but alas its turned around.

Tigg/Colleen - I am so sorry to hear about Mika. I can completely understand how you feel - with all the issues we had with Shay lately I thought we might end up having to make a difficult decision but alas he seems to be in good spirits. For some reason I thought he was still young but most huskies live between 10-14 years and he's already 12. I'm praying that Mika gives you guys a few good more.

Regarding the sitting together - that sounds like a GREAT idea. My last cruise in September - someone organized linking all of the ressies so we could sit near each other as well as at each others table. I think you can link them and state you want xx parties at the same table. Food for thought - HA - no pun intended.

I actually have an extra Fish Extender I bought off of Ebay a little while back. I ended up with two by a lady who seems to be a professional Fish Extender maker and they are really well done. I can bring it down with me if someone forgets theirs or wants one (will get a picture of it soon). Its a Winnie the Pooh type.

TTYL - Anjelica

About the fish extenders (now please forgive me for analyzing too deeply), but if it's going to be a per-family/room gift-giving, do I need a fish extender with the four pockets? Can I just put something up with one pouch? As soon as someone makes the rules, it'll make my understanding of this a whole lot better!

BTW - I think I have all the updates I have gotten in email or PM from folks on the website - BUT just in case I missed something definetly let me know. And A$$ling - I mean Aisling I fixed the misspellings I had on the one excursion page - again sorry about that.:rolleyes1

I've seen ones with one pocket, two pockets, three pockets and even four pockets. I don't think it matters. I actually picked up my fish extender gifts from one of the disneystores that recently closed (I swear folks it is NOT a stuffed Ratatouille doll) and based upon how many participate I may do two per stateroom. The last time I did it by stateroom.

Here's what I've got in my MM photobucket page so far...

the first two fit together left to right~

the next two are the logos I made ages ago for our cruise~

Morning Magic Mateys!

Your purse and wallet sound so cute Nan, and yes - I giggled at you trying to protect you new little handbag, and just like what would happen to me - it still got whammo'd!

I was going to go to the beach with Dad and Adrian today...I am just not up to it. My mood started out so bad the guys are safer having left me home ;)

Aisling my dear.

You only need to pick one out that you like....
however many pockets it offers.

It's up to the delivery person to make sure it's something that fits.

So far we have 9 cabins participating,
which means we need to double up who delivers their stuff on a couple days.

Now that I look at the list...are Chad and Louise participating too?
They aren't on the list - they would make it 10 cabins participating.

I made mine last night, did not take long at all. I made it according to these directions, so it has 4 pockets. If someone tells me how to post a picture, I can try to post that maybe tomorrow, as it is at home!

Here are the directions that I got from a previous DIS post, any questions, please ask (I had to read through a few times before they made sense, I can sew, but not the best):

Made a rectangle pattern -- 9" x 30"
Make another rectangle pattern for pockets 9" x 6" - cut 4 sets (double - right sides together)

Put right sides together and cut one out double for front/back.

Cut a piece of felt that is 1" shorter than the pattern -- this will be your interfacing.

Cut out 4 pockets (doubled)

With right sides together, stitch top and bottom of each pocket. Turn and press flat.

Baste the felt to the wrong side of one of the pattern pieces.

Pin pockets to front of FE that you just basted, matching edges.

Baste pockets along the sides.

Sew bottom of each pocket to the front of FE. I used a decorative stitch. You could also use some type of ribbon or bias tape.

Pin back of fish extender to front with right sides together.

Stitch using 3/8" seam allowance leaving about a 3 to 4 inch section unstitched to turn the FE right side out.

Trim corners and turn right side out.

Iron flat and stitch the unstitched section closed.

At the top of the FE, turn down to make a casing to put a wooden dowel rod.

Decorate your pockets . . . depending on how you're going to decorate your pockets . . . either decorate them before you baste them to the front of the FE or after the FE is totally sewn.

Hey Tigg,

I too have a late seating and wouldn't mind linking our ressie. What do we need to do to get that done. I would much rather sitting w/people that I know are DISNEY FANS than not..

Did I tell you all.. the first Disney cruise I took was in Sept 2000. We were sat w/TRAVEL AGENTS.. omg.. what a bunch of complainers. I wanted to THROTTLE them.

Sign me up Tigg!!!

If I remember correctly, you need to give your TA the full name of someone you want to be linked with. All of us would have to contact our own TA's. I am not sure if they need anything other than another guest's full name :confused3

I gotcha now Aisling, thank you dahling~

Deb, do you want me to make you shirts? Tell me what size, what color and which logo and maybe that'll be your first day's gift in your fish extenders ;)

(I would package them so it won't matter what size extender you have on your door. Maybe I'll zip tie them to your door fish :scratchin )

I know during the day, I like the pool. In the afternoon, I would take in a stage show. Dinner is a must for us (with exception of one or two nights at Palo.) and then whatever show looks good for the evening...sometimes it's a movie on deck, sometimes it'll be at the clubs, I really enjoyed who wants to be a Mousketeer - so maybe one night at the Family club. Karaoke seems to be a must do for this group and a comedian and a magic show would definitely float my boat.

MHO is that we could plan our days at dinner, I would really really like it if the one's who have late dining could try and get the same rotation. If not - the list above will tell you where to find me (and my hubby of course.) :)

Colleen, you are so sweet. I was hoping that we would all have the same tee shirts so that we could find each other at the port. Do you have any ideas that won't cost too much?

The same dinner rotation would be great. How do we find that out early enough to get it changed? Who would like to share tables?

I think I mentioned this a long time ago, but Jeff enjoys going to The Cove Cafe in the evenings for a cigar. If there are others who enjoy that, I could get a break.

Great idea Aisling! This would actually be easier to find and then the decorating could begin!

Who linked us the last time? It was either me or Jill. I remember PMing her my last name and reservation number, but I also remember her sending me the same. But I don't remember if I actually made the call to the TA. Where's Grim, he should remember!

My confusion was because I've seen FEs with the multi-pockets that had the names of each family member on them. If we're doing it per family, I won't need the individual pockets. Also, are these going to be one-time gifts, or daily, or dately?

I'm not trying to be a pain, I swear, I'm an easy going girl, but I have brainal issues with details! It was the same last cruise, it took my the longest time to be able to wrap my mind around the gift box thing. So pleeeeeease go easy on me!!

Has anybody thought of maybe using the Magic Matey logo on the front of their FE?

Avery makes a printable cotton iron on. I could print whichever logo you want on the iron on, mail it to whoever wants them and then you would get the shirt that you want it on and iron it!

(The print can be ironed on to anything fabric; tote bags, pillow cases, FE fabric, whatever.)
Total cost to me would be about $2 each plus the mailing. Minimal cost, really.

As far as linking, it was the reservation number I wasn't sure about. We each call our TA's with a link. We have alot of people on late dining so we really should decide who's gonna link with who up front~

Thanks Deb! I really want to get started on it!

Is it safe to ask what kinds of gifts we should get? Disney related, hometown related, something else?
