Yesterday, after earning some chairs, I was waiting in the esplanade for DD to log on for some trades with me.

My signature says no trades, but I wear a cowboy hat, so lots of trade requests come in.

It goes like this:

1. Trade request - I cancel it.
2. Trade request AGAIN - I cancel it.
3. Person says, Plz trade (or something like that)
4. I say, "Sorry, read my signature."
5. "I saw it, but am asking anyway." (!!!!)
6. I say, "if you saw it, why ask?"
7. Because I don't care what it says.
8. I stop talking to person.
9. Then the person continues, "No one pays attention to signatures."

LOL - then they left. What a conversation!

Trade request for SuperDuperSkaterGurl (not real name just that sort)
I cancel it
another request pops up from same person
and then I get

SDSG: VirtuallyMe plz trade with me
Me: Read my signature
SDSG: that is weird wat does it mean?
Me: lol that my other pants are cheat toes pants
SDSG: Why did I need to read that?
Me: Just checking it used to say not trading don't ask
SDSG: So will you trade
Me: Did you read my ancient signature?
SDSG: No wat are you talking about?
Me: Well I was just wondering if I had my ancient signature
Me: would you still have asked me to trade?
SDSG: I guess so
{I'm rolling my eyes now}
Me: what is it you want to trade?
SDSG: I want your clothes
Me: but I'll be cold if I give them to you
SDSG: no just your hat (I have gold mickey ears on)
Me: oh well what do you offer for my gold mickey ears?
SDSG: I don't know accept trade and I can show you
Me: if you can show me why can't you tell me
SDSG: because I can't remember what I have on me
Me: then maybe you should check that before you ask someon to trade
SDSG: Plz Plz I really want gold ears
SDSG: I need them
Me: No you want them and you don't even know what you will offer in trade for them
Me: Are you just offering me stuff from the stores right now?
SDSG: yeah I have pink doors too
Me: no thanks (click on last ghost and disappear and wait till I log off to close her trade request window)


Another story-
Someone asked at fireworks lobby (again- name changed not to protect the innocent but because I can't remember the poor boys name)
FW Kid:anyone trading fireworks- and says- I have rare for it
Me: [clicks trade] I have fireworks what do you offer for it?
FWKid: Hi thanks for offering to trade
Me: Hello to you too not a problem- what did you have to offer?
FWKid: ok let me show you
{gold doors go into the trade window- 2 sets, along with a skull candle holder, swamp tree, and five ice cubes}
Me: wow- are you sure those doors match?
FWKid- here to make sure (I didn't see what he did)
Mek I'll give you the benefit enjoy it
And trade is completed-

I go back to my room and have 5 gold teleporter doors- two matching sets

I placed the door in a room- will eventually put it in a room of its own- to offer the kid the door back- so if anyone is looking for me because they have a matching gold door to mine- just let me know it is yours- and if the original kid comes around- I'll give you an extra fireworks magic pin for the trade-

I felt a bit guilty taking all that and it not being a sham- I probalby would have taken just the ice and the tree lol

Using one of my mules I go into the rare, beta, gold, retired, quest.. etc. super duper trade room. Mule is wearing entire set of tomorrowland retro, sig says please ask before trade, thank you.
I spot a pink slipper chair, and ask if its for trade. Almost immediately I get a request pop up from owner, I accept.

Room Owner: Is your skyway pin for trade?
Me: Sure, for pink slipper? ( I had just asked about pink slipper, right?)
Room Owner: No! for this. .. She adds an everest chair, suitcase sofa, red penny press)
Me: No thank you
I then close the window, next thing I know.. boot!

I return to room on my main character, say hi, chit chat a moment. She's making comments about me being a leader, and general kiss up stuff, why i dont' know, I have no power! lol. I then say.. btw.. its not nice to boot people from your room because you can't agree on a trade. Its ok not to trade sometimes.
Room Owner: I didn't! I mean I click the wrong button. UH HUH.. yeah.. even when the window asks you twice if you are sure..

On Friday I hit cancel on a trade request four times so the next time I just clicked on ignore. Then she finally asked me to trade in words and I said too late I already clicked on ignore. She said that was mean. I told her it was mean to keep asking to trade when I click cancel.

She told my friend (WHose room we was in) that I was being mean. he laughed and booted her. Guess she was meaner than me.

Her: Just click accept!
( So I click accept, because trade conversations like this are always funny )

Me: Hello
Her: Can I have you're inferno?
Me: I don't have inferno
Her: Then what does that yellow badge on you mean?
Me: That I was here from the first day.
Her: Well, everyone I see with it has inferno.
Me: It's just a badge to show how long I've been here
Her: So if you get inferno, can I have it?
Me: Not for free, I might not trade it
Her: You are cheap
(Window Closes)
Her: People, don't listen to MagicAce, he's cheap!
( I leave room in hysterics )


This story is off topic, but it's pretty funny:

Me: Sorry, my list is full
Boy: Well, you can delete someone
Me: It is made of many active players.
Boy: Well, Im going to report you if you dont delete someone!
Me: Reporting wont do anything

I was told I was mean when I refused to trade while I was waiting in the
Pirates game lobby.

I told them that people don't have to accept a trade if they don't want to.
Plus I suggested they find guest trading rooms.

Next time they say it's mean not to trade, I'll find an item they have and
ask, "Would it be mean if you were offered a bad trade and refused it?"
See if that shuts them up.

Doubt it. The worst was seeing someone with a retired costume and gold
ears demand a clothing item from another player instead of offering to trade
for it.

I decided to swap my black ears for my lovely princess ears that Jellyrolls gifted me (I offered you the ultra rare brown flips, but you didn't want them, so nice ) and immediately got a trade request. I quickly looked at their pins and saw the NPC collection but accepted anyway.

Me: It's not for trade
It: plz
Me: What would you offer?
It: do u have a camera?
Me: Yes.
It: I offer ultra rare everest chair and pink doors
It: plz accept
(I started putting in random cheap pins to sort)

Me: Go right ahead.
It: give me the princess hat, girl boy
Me: I'm a pretty princess don't you think?
It: gross girl boy I'm reporting you
