You guys have stuck with me though this whole saga, and I really appreciate it. I am hoping we are finally getting somewhere. I haven't gotten the contract to sign, yet, but have a verbal agreement with a seller, again through GMAC, and this time I think Rachel made sure the sellers told her everything, before she called me back (she has been really nice).

OK - for the fourth try for the second contract:

160 points at SSR, December UY. 10 banked '06 points. '07 points have been banked, so 320 points Dec '08; 160 each year thereafter.

Purchase price $12,600 ($78.75 per point), with buyer (that would be me) to pay closing, one year's maintenance fees, and GMAC fee.

Kristen just called me to find out our F&W dates. The week after we leave, one of my favorite live bands ever will be playing at Epcot. If I hadn't already bought airline tickets, I'd be trying to change my dates tomorrow...

If anyone notices any discrepancies on the ROFR list please help me out. I've been out straight with getting my feet wet with the new football staff trying to bring the rest of them up to speed with my offense. Plus my real job, I love this thread but I am, unfortunately, finding less time lately to be on here, killing me. I barely get on 3 or 4 times a day, horrible, so if I forget someone on the list or anything like that, I'm sorry. It was a lot easier when I spent like 6 hours a day on here.

Life gets in the way, but that's OK, too. I will likely disappear from Friday through next Wednesday, as I will be with my grandchildren. Sorry, but I won't miss you guys THAT much, under the circumstances. (I will miss you a little, though!)

I want to email our resale rep hourly to see if she's heard, but so far have refrained aside from a couple emails the last few days. ARGH! Each day we hope to hear SOMETHING...even if it doesn't pass so we can begin searching for another resale to offer on...but this pergatorial state they call "Waiting for ROFR" is nearly unbearable!

Got a lot to do today! More homework.....of course, and Laxlad has his last game. Judging on how many were at practice last night, he may get to play. Tournament starts Sat. They play at 7pm. Dh gets home today so closing docs can now show up. I'm sure they have been waiting because they knew he wasn't home to sign them. Yea right!!! We are now in week 8 since we had our offer accepted and week 7 since we went to ROFR. I may be heading for a record!!

I was telling Laxdad about your experiences, Grandbuddy. He couldn't believe it! I mean the part about trying 4 times and the problems encountered.

Sent off an email to closing company who was supposed to be finalizing the closing docs last Thursday so we could proceed. They said they would "email them to us which would speed up the process." I haven't seen anything about this process that has been speedy!

Ok, I am done venting now. I will go look for my pills. My eye won't stop twitching.

Actually it's quite funny..when my kids were little they got into some of the Stones music from who else...anyway, one of the songs they liked was this one. DW is from a different musical era and really had no idea what the song was about until she really listened...freaked her totally out that the kids were "into" this song!!!

Geesh, Susan, it does seem like you've taken forever to close. I wonder if it's a HHI thing. Kris's first contract was HHI and that was the one that she offered on in Oct and never closed until Jan.

Well, it's got to be soon.

I'm going to call Nancy today to check on my closing. She's had my docs for a week now so she should know something.

My AKV points are already in the system! There is something to be said about direct from Disney ( as long as you don't take too much of a price beating )

Still pouting about Sister Hazel. If I hadn't already bought airfare, we'd be rescheduling the trip..
