I have to know...since us crackers here in Florida don't have such things, what is the job description of the Fire Department office and who can run?

Was a Firefighter in the Township department, you had to run in a station election to hold a line officer position, which you did in your station, but served in the township.....Basically not very interesting or worth while as I soon found out.

I would think those kinds of things need to be appointed, but I am no firefighter, so I will leave it up to the experts.

Sometimes I think there needs to be elections at school for positions, and then I think, Jen, this is the school system, are you nuts?
