November 3, 2012 Disney Magic

We booked the 7 mile beach at Caymans, Dolphin encounter in Costa Maya and Ruins/Beah Tour in Cozumel. Heard any good or bad about these?

I'm leaning towards the AI option at Mr Sancho's in Cozumel. I think we would get bored at Nachi Cocom.

I'm still not decided on Grand Cayman...

The military rate is phenomenal! We saved over $2600!! This will be our first cruise and our daughter will be turning 5 the 2nd day of the cruise!

I'm coming too!! :cheer2: I am bringing my friend and her 12 year old daughter. This is my friends 2nd cruise (but the first one was 20 years ago so this will be a change for her) and her daughters' first cruise. I've been on 5 Disney cruises already.

I would like to sign up for the FE as well. I think the 12 year old will love it. I have to use my families FE with my husband and 2 DD's name on it, but I don't think it will be a problem. :thumbsup2 I'm trying to show them why I am addicted to Disney so anything that I can, I'll do it.

How many people are on the FE list? :confused3

Now I will go back and read all of the other posts before I ask any other questions. :wave2:

:wave2: DH is at Lackland as well. He is Navy though and works off base. Are you enjoying this rain today as much as we are?

Welcome! I am not sure how many are in the FE. I don't think we have an official list yet.

Alright, that did not take long to read all of the posts. We are not a chatty group, that is for sure! :rotfl2:

I have a GTY cabin, so no number. My name is Jen, and I'm travelling with my friend Ann and her 12 year old Alicia. Any other 12 year old girls out there? She is a little shy but I know she will have no problems making friends. Now to reassure her mom of that!

Has anyone found a cheaper way of transfering to the port? I looked at renting a car, but the taxi ride from where you drop of the car to the port is over $50! :scared1: By the time I rent the car and pay for gas, it is cheaper for three of us to take the transfers.

Hi Jen! We are bringing our 4 youngest on the cruise. Our DD is 11 but will be turning 12 right after we get back! She is very friendly and out going. I know she is going to be thrilled there is someone else her age going! :).

Alicia just turned 12 this summer so they will be almost the same age. :thumbsup2 Maybe I can get her to post here to your daughter and they can get to know each other before the cruise.

Awesome! Dani is really good with other kids! I do have to warn you that we are planning on having the kids go to the club/lab as much as we can so Jon and I can get some much needed alone time. :).

@sissy_ib - yes I'm enjoying the rain! We definitely needed it!!

@kristinfly2 - Disney is the best when it comes to military appreciation!!

Hi all!
This will be our first Disney Cruise and I know I'm slow to figure all this out, but I just now saw the FE exchange info. I saw the cut-off date is October so I hope that still stands as we would love to be involved in the exchange. It will be me (Kim), my daughter (Hannah 12), and my mom (Quita) and are in room 7040. My husband can't go so my mom is going with us. We will be traveling with our neighbors who will probably want to be involved so I will try to get them on this list as well. We are all so excited and I was so excited to learn about this exchange!

Hello from Colorado... :wave2: Rebecca and I are huge Disney fans. We are looking forward to sailing on the Magic with everyone here on the Disboards. It was a year ago this month when I was on the WBTA. I missed the ship and decided last minute we need to join you. This is Rebecca's third cruise and my 9th. We will be in cabin 2072 and would like to join the FE list. I'm looking forward to catching up with the previous posts and all that has gone on with y'all.

I have been on multiple Disney Cruises myself and bringing my friend Rebecca. It's been approximately ten years since her last Disney Cruise. We would enjoy meeting y'all. I have to catch up on the prior posts myself. Did you find anything important that I need to know ASAP. Have a Magical Day!!

I hope everyone had a Magical Weekend. If you did anything interesting or would like to share how you are preparing for the trip, I'm interested. I think sharing and building the experience, is all part of the Fun!! pixiedust:

I am off to work :drive: but hope to see your posts in the morning.

If it isn't too late, I would like to be part of the FE exchange list.
First time cruisers. Myself (E), grandma (Nai Nai) and my 7yr old son (Lennon).

Disney! Disney! Disney!
