I just booked a back to back!!! Is anybody going to Mr. Sancho's while in Cozumel?

Have you been to Mr. Sancho's before? I've been researching and trying to decide between there and Paradise beach or Playa Uvas.

How was nachi coom? We are booked there? I picked it because it sounded quieter than other places. :)

Wow, I have a feeling this is going to be one quiet ship. I just did my online check in and got an 11:30 port arrival time and Palo brunch is still available every sea day!

So I stayed up all night for nothing??? LOL. Good to know about brunch! We booked one dinner and one brunch but I may add a second now! :)

I loved it! They offer more of a beer selection than Mr. Sancho's. It is a great place to relax and enjoying many drinks. If you have kids they may get bored.

Thank you! Our DD9 is special needs and sometimes doesn't handle crowds well so I am hoping it will be a nice break for her from the ship! :)

It will only let you book one of each online. As soon as I board I am going to get myself put on the list for a second brunch. They make you wait until the next day to give everyone a chance. We booked for the first sea day, it would be great to get it on the last as well!

I am trying to decide between Mr Sanchos and Nachi Cocom.

I'm new to the DCL boards, but been a DIS member for a long time! :thumbsup2

We're going on the Nov. 3 sailing- just DH and myself, leaving our kiddos at Camp Grandma for the week! Hope to meet up with some of you all on board!

Yea! Do you live here in Texas?

Is anyone else doing the ruins in Costa Maya? I booked with Native Way today.

We are planning on doing tropicante (sp?) in costa maya. We aren't there very long and I think the kids will want another beach day! :)

We're thinking about Tropicante too. I've been reading all the reviews and think it's the best choice for the $.

Does anyone know how I can find out what my dining rotation will be ahead of time? Or what night is Pirate Night? We want to make a Palo reservation and are thinking of a brunch and dinner on pirate night (maybe?).

There's just too much info for a newbie! :confused3

I found out on another thread that formal night is night 2 and pirate night is night 4. Worked out great for us as DHs birthday is on 11/05 so I booked Palo for that night! :)

Awesome! Thanks for posting this. I added Palo for DH and I on pirate night.

As far as FEs, is someone making a list with names and room numbers?

I only have a tentative head count and still need first names from two families. I thought Bonnie was doing it but not sure. :)

what is the cost for Tropicante? Is it all inclusive?

There is no cost. From what I read on this board, Steve just asks that u buy some food and drinks. I goggled it and found the menu online and the prices were reasonable. Other posters have said the massages were cheap and great! :)

Yep no cost for Tropicante. You just email the owner Steve for a chair reservation and he emails you all the information, like which taxis to use to get there. In one post I read someone posted their email from him and it was very detailed and informative. The only downside of the place I can find is maybe getting pestered by vendors but I'm good at saying "No Thanks".

I figure for the short amount of time we'll be at Costa Maya, I can't eat and drink $40 at an all inclusive. It'll just be nice to get off the boat, go to the beach for an hour or two and then return to port to look around.

Yes, I live outside of Houston (near Katy). So happy to just have the quick drive to Galveston for this cruise- makes it MUCH easier and more affordable for us to go not having to pay for flights too!
