Again never done this.. Is the expectation one gift per kid or do u tend to do more than one? Just trying to make sure I have the right idea in my head

We have 3 girls 11, 9 and 3 and one boy who is 5.

My boys are 12, 10, & 8. Gifts are totally up to you. We have been on cruises were some people give multiple days and some only once. It all for the kids enjoyment. Some folks have made gifts, candy, but mostly souvenir type stuff. Really what ever you want.

Hi we're on the Nov. 3rd cruise and very excited! It's going to be my husband and I (we're 30) + my parents. It's my first cruise and first Disney cruise for everyone. I'm crafty and love the FE idea! I'm not sure my husband and I can participate though because we won't receive our room # till we chech-in/board. We'll see....
There seems to be so much information that I'm overwhelmed. Just trying to pick port adventures has been hard. We'll take any tips! We're looking forward to a great trip

Bonifay5 - Thanks for the responses. I know I keep asking, but just don't want to be the one that completely misses the process. I have some ideas brewing It is rather fun planning.

Imedley - welcome to the cruise. You are going to have a great time. We have kiddos, but for excursions we are doing 7mile beach in the Caymans, Dolphin Encounter in Costa Maya and the Cozumel Ruins Tour and Beach break in Cozumel. Before kids, we tended towards the snorkeling and catamarans.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that there will probably be more traffic driving to Galveston on November 3rd because it's the Lone Star Rally weekend (basically Biker Weekend). Be careful and pack some extra patience!

Yes! We were in Galveston not too long ago and read it in one of the events calendar. My husband said they block the roads in the strand. I would think/hope Galveston has a plan. We live in Houston area but are picking the girls up from school and heading that way. We are staying at Moody Gardens and paid extra for cruise transportation.

FE question - are the gifts marked with who they are from? Do we eventually learn everyone's name?

that seems to show what streets will be blocked off. I believe the cruise terminal is directly across from 25th street. So perhaps I-45 South, Exit IC-Harborside Drive (HSD), take a left under the freeway and follow HSD to the terminal. That would be approaching the terminal from the west without getting into all the biker stuff. I think.

Oh and btw, my name is Jacob. Myself (34), DW 34, DD 4, DS 3 will be taking our first cruise. We're pretty pumped about it. I've been learning about this FE thing and it seems really interesting. I think I'll pass on it because I feel I have all of this other stuff to focus on, but I'm learning for next time. In the interim I'll check in on the thread every so often to keep up to date.

Yes the terminal is across the street from 25th St but the usual traffic flow pattern for passenger/baggage drop off enters at 22nd St. I've emailed the Galveston Port Authority and asked if the traffic pattern will be the same due to the Rally. I'll post back when I hear something.

Hi Kelly! I am kris, DH is Jon, DD11 is Dani, DD9 is Sarah, DS5 is Daniel and DD Anna is 3. I was not actually planning on making a pocket for Jon and I. I am worried that since we have 4 kids it wouldn't be fair to smaller families to make so many FE gifts for ours. I can add another one if we need too, but I didn't want to burden people!
