I do not know if I want to carry all that cash in addition to our spending cash...That was what I was planning to do anyways...![]()
I see you said you had copies of your birth certificates. Just make sure they have a raised seal on them, a copy with the seal not raised won't work. Don't want to see anyone get denied boarding!!cjmx said:Hi ,
I am trying to keep up with this link, feeling really ovverwhelmed.
1. Are there new boarding procedures?
2. What's the mickey heads?
3. is there a link for packing lists. I thought i saw one a while ago.
And lastly, I think Michelle was concerned about docs. My TA had the docs and is planning to send them out Mon. Call your TA and verify they have your correct address.
Now, i have to gather all the birth certificates. I think I only have copies, so I am glad I looked this site over. How many days are left?

If anyone needs any local information from the Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach area, just ask. We can probably also find out about Orlando information if anyone needs that. Glad to help anyway we can.

I'll need a day off tomorrow to recover from a late night.

At Port Canaveral, there are two restaurants that the locals really like: Grills and Fishlips. I haven't been to Fishlips, but I've heard great things about it. At Grills, I usually get the special Mahi Mahi platter or sandwich. I think everything they have is good though.
In Cocoa Beach, there is a fancy restaurant where the astronauts used to eat called Bernard's Surf. Attached to it is a less fancy restaurant called Rusty's. (Rusty is Bernard's son.) They both have basically the same menu, just a very different atmosphere. Bernard's Surf has a great Caesar salad and a wonderful Banana's Foster, both made at the table, in case you want to get ready for your fancy dining onboard the ship.
Also, in Cocoa Beach is a little Cuban restaurant called Roberto's Little Havana that has delicious food, and great Cuban sandwiches.
Hope this helps.

I called my TA because there was only one document book. Last year, we received a document book for each person. I was told that DCL now only sends one to each address. This is something new since last year.
My kids were excited about this. There were a couple more that my oldest DS wants to see - The greatest game ever played and Flight plan. Still no word if Harry Potter will be playing.
I read that someone was getting their child ahead by doing their classwork now. I read that there is a room on the ship to do homework. I don't want to do that. What are the other parents doing? In my locality, the DC is not an approved absence. We will get a letter from the school board as a result of the days off, but I have informed the kids' teachers of the trip and they will give me the work on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I think I will let them do the homework while the DH is playing golf. Would to love to read your thoughts.
