Hi Dialady FYI - I called Disney a while ago to make my final payment, and they asked me if I had a preferred seating time (we are late seating as well). I requested an 8:00 seating. The CM I spoke with put in my request, and said that they are usually honered. It might be worth a phone call for you.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Can't wait for our first cruise!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hey guys - If you go to Disneycruise.com and then go to My Disney Cruise(Sometimes, Ihave to go Click Reservations, then on the left hand side click My Disney Cruise.) Same place you made your online reservations, On the summary of people and where it tells your room, it should tell you what time you are originally signed up for. Mine told me 8:30 and that is what DVC told me when I booked it.

Jon,

It is who I thought. Ok, now that you can tell we are a bit (honest, just a teeny, tiny, miniscule bit) sarcastic, do you still want to go diving with us?

TJGorman - If it is going to save us money, then yes. Also, I think for my DW it would be better to go with hopefully someone she knows someone a little bit.
Diving Experience - She is working on getting her Rescue Diver certificate through Naui. She has done a couple of Ocean dives and has diven in Quarries a lot.

SMS1 - I think TJGorman is trying to find out whether or not you are part of her BIG Group that is going. She knows someone from her group is trying to set up Scuba Diving and she thinks it may be you. She is going on this same cruise.

Sorry Jon,

It was an inside joke. I am a close friend of Tammy, her DH, her DD, her DS, and at least one of her dogs!. I saw her this very morning.

Thanks for the diving info. I may try to get people to sign up right away, and see if they can accomodate us.

MGTX - Hi, we are planning on dressing up for it all, Pirate, formal, semi-formal. Give me theme, see me look foolish, and have fun doing it.

That is funny. I got quite a chuckle reading your posts to each other! LOL

And that sounds wonderful halestrm! Hopefully we will get to see you guys in all your attire, and we are planning to as well, so you will not be alone!! And congrats on getting your docs. Ours haven't come yet, and I have no calls from my TA, wondering what is going on. If it wasn't for the 225 stateroom credit, I would have never gone through them, I like being in more control myself! :teeth:

I have a question anyone, I just got my lime green mickey heads at Home Depot, and was wondering, are people going to cut them out??? Are they going to write names on them like name tags or leave them blank?

Oh I hope everyone puts their names on them and uses them for name tags. It will be fun find out everyone's names :)

We were discussing where we will be three weeks from tonight at dinner . .. umm . . the kids were looking forward to those Mickey Ice Creams!

See ya'll soon!

I was going to cut them out, but they would be too small for our names. I decided it was more important to have legible names than to tell they are not Mickey Paint samples.

Hi ,

I am trying to keep up with this link, feeling really ovverwhelmed.

1. Are there new boarding procedures?

2. What's the mickey heads?
3. is there a link for packing lists. I thought i saw one a while ago.

And lastly, I think Michelle was concerned about docs. My TA had the docs and is planning to send them out Mon. Call your TA and verify they have your correct address.

Now, i have to gather all the birth certificates. I think I only have copies, so I am glad I looked this site over. How many days are left?

1. Are there new boarding procedures?

From what I have been reading, rather than doing first-come first-serve and standing in line, they are handing out cards as you come in. It is still first-come first-serve, but now there is no need to stand in line, just wait for group to be called.

2. What's the mickey heads?

We are using the mickey heads to distinguish us as part of the cruise meet at the Goofy Pool on Saturday at 3:00PM. Some of us are planning on using them as Name Tags.

3. is there a link for packing lists. I thought i saw one a while ago.

Someone has this list, I forget who it is.

I have 20 Days left since I am flying in the day of the cruise.

Hopefully that help clears up some of your confusion. Never be afraid to ask.

Hi All,

On my way to Home Depot to get Mickey tags and my magnets. I am also going to hit target and pick up some needs for the cruise. I have my corner in my bedroom set up with things to bring. I can't wait to wake up in three weeks on the cruise.....

What a fast month this will be Thanksgiving, family and then cruising....

Hi all - here are my questions for the day:

1. Is there an ATM on board? If not, how much cash should we bring?
2. If DH drops us at port and goes to Budget to return the car, how does he get to port? Does Budget have a shuttle, should he walk back to the Radisson and take their shuttle, or can he walk from Budget to port?
3. If he drops us at port, will he need anything to get in or can I keep the docs with me. (We may get there before they open).
4. Lastly, I think I live in a magnet free zone. I've found Disney ones but no regional/state ones. Where are you guys buying your magnets?

See you real soon :earsboy: !

1. - There is an ATM on board, but has limited cash. Since nothing on board takes cash and everything gets charged to our KTTW card, Cash is not a necessity. The only time you would need cash would be, Room Service Tips, and on the Islands. If you want to give cash to your servers and steward then you would need it then.

2. - Budget will have a shuttle that brings him back.

3. - Make sure he has ID. If you can check in go check in and then wait for him. Otherwise, wait for him, I do not think they will let him up without proof that he is on the cruise and since ALL the documents are in the same booklet it is much harder to separate them. You may want to ask this one in the main thread.

4. - Magnets, we just went to the mall and found something that would make a cool magnet and bought them. We then added magnetic tape to the back of them.

Ok, I am in the same boat when it comes to finding limited magnets. I will try the mall though, maybe that is the best bet. Online sure didn't help!

I remember reading on the main cruise forum that he can get in the port with only his ID. I think my DH will be doing the same. I think that they have an invoice or list that will tell who is on the cruise, and then they verify it with the ID. Most people's accounts that I have read had said this anyways. I know I was not too worried about it, and I know I will not wait around either! :goodvibes

I had heard that you can charge the tips onto your stateroom account and didn't have to have cash for them? If you go to guest services they can charge it? Is this still correct? I do not know if I want to carry all that cash in addition to our spending cash...That was what I was planning to do anyways... :cheer2:

Hi all,

We got our documents and our Mickey head swatches. Still can't decide what to do in port. St. Maarten and St. Thomas excursions are a lot more expensive than the ones we just did last month in Cozumel and Belize. I know you're not supposed to worry about money when you go on vacation, but Disney is so much more expensive to cruise on anyway, it's tough to spend a lot more on top of that. I'm sure we'll come up with something.

I still have to go find magnets; shouldn't be too hard in the tourism capital of the world!

I hope we can find out where we are docking for sure. If we decide to make plans with non-Disney excursion providers, I'd hate to be terribly far from their location.

If anyone needs any local information from the Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach area, just ask. We can probably also find out about Orlando information if anyone needs that. Glad to help anyway we can.
