We received our documents today!!! I think it might be time for our countdown to start!

I hope my docs come soon. I need something to look at to get me motivated to get moving on my travel plans. My daughter is making our FE this week and she is very talented, especially only being 13! We are working on our FE gifts and I almost forgot its only a 3 day cruise so I shouldn't get out of control with ideas plus it might be a real workout to go deliver everything!

We received our docs today, too! Which reminded me to get back on here after a long absence due to a busy fall.

We're in 2032, so no upgrade yet on our free DVC incentive cruise, but it's nice to know they sometimes happen later.

We finally have all our travel plans set, too - take the red-eye from Seattle Friday night (never done that before) and stay at SSR (our original "home" but this will be the first time we've stayed there) on Saturday before heading to the Port (boys are angling for Disney Quest on Saturday while we get acclimated to the time change). After the cruise, we head to Vero Beach for four nights (need some pixie dust for our 1BR wait list to come through for the first two nights instead of a studio) then back to SSR for two nights and Harry Potter on Monday before heading home on Tuesday! I'm going to need a scorecard to tell where I am at any given time!

Definitely getting excited now!!!

Did we decide to meet the day we board?- most groups try to meet b4 the drill in the prominade lounge- much quieter and less traffic than trying a group thing near the pools- what is everyone's vote?

Time will start to fly now-have we cut off the FE sign up? I need to know as I am doing a per cabin adult gift and a per child gift- Also it would be helpful to know by cabin if this is your 1st Disney cruise or 5th -so I can taylor the cabin gift specifically- and that's all the hint you're getting.

Regarding the "Meet," your suggestion is fine with me. We're new to the FE concept, so I'll take the advice of the veterans!

It's the 2nd Disney cruise for the Soxyes family. Last time we did the 7 day on the Magic, so I'm interested to see the differences between the two ships. I'm a little bit afraid that it will feel too short, but it's better than no cruise at all.

37 days until our stay at Boardwalk and then onto the Wonder on 11/21! I can't wait. Work will be quite busy until then, so I'm sure I'll appreciate the break (and NO cell phone coverage while on the ship! )

I hope you aren't hoping for an upgrade. This ship is completely sold out. When they are sold out upgrades don't happen. We too were hoping for one but I do not think it is going to happen. Oh well... at least we will be on the ship!!

Not holding my breath. I'd rather use my pixie dust for a 1BR our first two nights at Vero - we'll be on the 7-night MR in February in a verandah room, so it will be interesting to try out the ocean view on the 3-night.

Yes, the best part will be just BEING on the ship!!

Oh, and we'd love to do a meet - I think there are several "overlaps" with our kids, so it would be nice for them to meet, too!

My preferred DIS meet is in the Promenade Lounge for the reasons you have mentioned. Weather isn't an issue either. A couple of cruises ago, it was decided to meet by the ice cream station. Not a good location for a meet. Hot, noisy, too confined of a space, and lots of cruiser and CM traffic.

Ok, DIS friends, I won't be on the Boards much until the 1st of November ... because, I am leaving this Friday for Florida and will be boarding the beautiful Disney Magic on Saturday!!!!! :

I will be home by October 31 and will get in gear for the November 18 and 21 cruises on the Wonder.

If anyone has any specific questions about menu items or if anyone wants any particular pics, please let me know.

Sorry I haven't posted lately. Finished first quarter report cards, and my first 5K race was today! Add in my kids weekend sports activities and I have been swamped. I have all my FE's planned out... and not a one finished! Next weekend

I sent out a FE list a couple weeks ago. It's current for all the cruisers. I think earlier we had agreed (I thought?) to cut it off 30 days ahead... which is this week. I'd be surprised if we got any additions since the cruise is sold out!!

I only have one cabin without a room assignment to me. As soon as I get it I will send out the FINAL LIST! It looks like we are done at 15 cabins. Post #220 has the list of adults/children if anyone wants to count.

We received out travel docs a couple of days ago. We are so excited. My wife wanted me to ask of there are any other Zumba people on the cruise that would like to get together to work off all the great food.
