Final FE list went out last night! And I added deck plans and highlighted the room numbers- please check and make sure I did that right. I thought with it being a short 3 day cruise it would make it a lot easier if you knew exactly where to look for the rooms- especially those sideways cat 11 rooms!

Please let me know if I made any mistakes! it's my first time doing this and I might have...

Going to start putting FE gifts together today!

Thanks SillyLittlePixie....you did great! Ours are done. Yea! The only mistake I noticed was that you put your family in the same cabin as Preedymtnwest Looking back at old posts I see that they are in 2032 (which you have hilighted on the map), so I guess that is the answer to "who is in which room?"

I was working out the numbers and thought I would post my results to make it easier to plan for FE gift ideas.

15 cabins
47 people
27 adults
20 kids
Ages 12-17 = 8 (6 girls 2 boys)
11 & under = 12 (6 girls 6 boys)

I'm back from a wonderful week on the Magic.

Great changes to Castaway Cay.

Can't wait to board the Wonder and cruise with 4 of my wonderful grandchildren.

Did we decide on a meeting place? We will be leaving for Disney World on Friday the 12th and then going directly to the cruise. When do we pass out our FE gifts? Is there anything else I should know? We've never done this before.

We are leaving on Friday too! Woot! Woot! But since we'll be taking a redeye flight we won't arrive till Saturday morning.

You can pass out your FE gifts anytime you want. Be sure to remember to do them before dinner on the last night though, as after that people will begin to pack up and put their luggage out, and will likely pull in the FE.

I can't recall if we set a time- 3:00 in the Promenade Lounge? Is that right? I have had it there on 2 previous meets and it was plenty roomy. I'll also bring some paper incase anyone has a last minute room change or upgrade. So if you are planning on participating in the FE, plan to stop by so you can see if anyone got a different room. I would probably upgrade if it was available, myself! But it being sold out I think makes it unlikely. However, on a previous cruise we did have a participant have a different room due to a problem with the assigned room. So it can happen.

Having never done a "meet" before, 3:00 p.m. in the Promenade Lounge sounds great - I'm assuming from you vets that that time takes into account that most people will be onboard by then and it's early enough before the drill.

Working on my homemade FE gifts today and still need to order/buy a few things....told you I'd be doing them at the last minute...

Wishing safe travels to all who are traveling soon to our magical vacation. Two years of planning for this family cruise and it's almost here. My 6 yr. old grandson, who is a Silver member, told me last night that he is so excited, he can't wait.

I learned, yet again, something new from the DIS boards. You can request a dining rotation. It's never been an issue for me which restaurant rotation we have, but for this one, I didn't want the kids/grandkids to miss the show in Animators. We are going to Palo on the second night and with my luck, that would be our night in Animators. I called DCL and made the request to start in Animators and I'm hoping our request is granted.

And, on another great news note .... the DCL CM told me that the Disney Wonder will be decorated for Christmas on November 14!!!!! The gingerbread house may not be done, but if it's being built, you will be making many trips past it on deck 3 near the Promenade Lounge.

Looking forward to meeting all of you on the 21st at the Promenade Lounge on deck 3.

And, on another great news note .... the DCL CM told me that the Disney Wonder will be decorated for Christmas on November 14!!!!!

That is fantastic news. I'm anxious to see everything decked out for Christmas.

YAY! We leave for WDW (Polynesian) on Tuesday so getting anxious!
However, we too are having dinner at Palo on the 2nd night so I have requested Animators on the first night!
Excited about the Christmas stuff being up!

Any party of 2 or 3 interested in going in on a Cabana? We really want to try them out, but feel it won't be worth the $ for just the 3 of us. We are doing a back to back so I am pretty sure we can reserve one for this cruise since we will be one of the first ones on the boat (along with the other back to backers

I can hardly stand it! So much to do, but it's all fun. DD is making our FE today. We told my mom about sneaking her to WDW for 2 days and she wasn't as horrified as we thought she'd be So DH said I might as well add a couple of nights. Now I "have" to revamp all the Disney day plans. Such a chore. heehee.

No mention of Tangled, but I hope what some of you speculated is true and that they do a midnight showing. For those who have not cruised before, the movies are only shown at certain times. The times are listed each day in the Navigator, but you can also stop by the theater and they have the times for the whole cruise listed on a board. I took a pic of the board on the first day. Last time we found that the movies we most wanted to see were shown at times that we wanted to do other things (like CC). Hoping to get to see one this time since we're staying onboard in Nassau.

Would love to see Sorcer's Apprentice, just bought Toy Story 3- and saw Secretariat 2 weeks ago-I work for a Thoroghbred Horse Farm- so it was job research- LOL . See you all in 1 WEEK! This time next week we"ll be driving to the port!! I started sorting clothes to pack and getting out our snorkel gear and such- had to buy DS new dress pants and shirt- the old ones fit at the begining of the summer but were about 2 inches shorter -

Just saw a post on the DCL general board, and the poster said that on the 11/11 Wonder, about 80% of the Christmas decorating was done, including the tree in the atrium. She said that she saw crates and boxes of Christmas decorations being loaded today, thinking it might be for CC.

FE gifts are done, wrapped and packed! Need to laminated a few door magnets, packed DS' suitcase and sorted my clothes to pack- DH always waits to the last minute only to find there is no room in the suitase for his stuff anyhow.To all those in transit- here's to safe traveling- see you all next week.
