Really flipping out about Hurricane Sandy. We already received a notice from us air saying that we could switch days if we get hit by Sandy. It really won't do us any good though as we can not go any other time until late spring. Ugh! So frustrating. Here's hoping everything turns out ok.

Is booking a limo better than magical express?

Magical Express is not a problem. Clean & comfy, videos for the kids, and door-to-door service. Have used it several times, and am using it again next week!

Good luck. We are about a week after you so while we will be hunkered down here in MD for this (already declared a state of emergency), I am hoping things get back to normal in time for the election and then our trip

Yeah we live in Md too. I am more nervous for my family in NJ though. My dad lives right on the coast near Atlantic City. He says he doesn't want to leave the house so this is going to be interesting. No one will be able to change his mind either. My mom also lives in another part of NJ and she is the one who was supposed to watch the kids while we went out of town. Ugh! This is just getting more complicated by the minute. Wish I could be excited. Now I don't know if I even want to pack.

This is our first trip, and although we heard the ME is fine, the idea of being on someone elses schedule wasn't appealing to us.

We want to get off the plan and right to our resort -- not wait in line for a bus, stop at other resorts first, and arrive at the same exact time as who knows how many other people who also need to check in.

And when we leave, we want to leave when we want -- not when ME says we have to be ready (which I hear is early).

To each their own... I know my girls are going to be super excited to ride in a stretch limo!

Hoping and praying for a good outcome for all your situations regarding Sandy. My dad would be the same way. Once he's made up his mind, forget about it! Things just have to work out for you!

Every now and then I have to step away from Disney and work on plans for a wedding.

Well the new park hours for our dates have been posted.... I know I shouldn't complain about more Disney time! And really, for everyday except for 1 my plans aren't terribly affected.....but with MK now opening at 8 instead of 9, my Chef Mickey ressie @ 7:10 isn't as exciting --the purpose of the early ressie was to make it to MK for rope drop

I reached out to my aunt who is meeting us there to see if she wanted to drop CM in favor of hitting MK early (I should note that MK is open until 1a that day, no MH, just regular park hours). But now I'm wondering if I should keep the ressie, even if its just for our family of 5 because I've heard such great things about it.... What would you do?
