Okay...it is finally OFFICIAL...so sign us up to the NOVEMBER LIST...we are going Nov. 15th-23rd...OKW Villas...short stay...but excited none the less!!!! Yipppeeee!!!

Yippee for becoming official!! And I just had to ask...if this is a short stay,how long do y'all usually go for? This is a longish vaca for us...just curious, as I am always jealous of the folks who get to go for 2 weeks!!!

We have choosen our resort, our dates of travel, the resturaunts we want to eat at, and the days we will visit each park....now all we have to do is make it offical and book our November trip

we are planning on leaving to go back home Black Friday but so we can take advantage hopefully of a possible future promotion (hint free dining ) we will leave the Wed. or Thurs. before Thanksgiving week that way we can get free dining for our whole trip

We usually go for 12 days...but since we are actually going during Thanksgiving week...only time college age daughter could go...and since it is more costly during this timeframe...had to cut days. But I am so excited...wasn't sure if we were going to swing it this year. We are in the process of selling our home and moving...so wasn't 100% sure...so grateful that we are able to!!!

We are officially booked for Nov 4-9 in a Cars suite at A of A!!!! Dh and I agreed that unless a ridiculously good discount comes our way we will stay there. Our boys are only little once and they will be so excited to stay there. We may ask my mom to join us, so we have to decide if she will stay with us or get a room in the Little Mermaid section. YAY!

I could be very wrong, but I think the two are on opposite ends of the resort... if she does I would definitely put in requests to be as close to the middle for the two as possible!

Thanks. I just realized that. We don't like the Nemo rooms but I'm not opposed to Lion King. I just know my boys would like Cars best. I guess we will deal with if and when my mom decides to come with us.

Wow 200 pages!! Why is November the most popular month? We have been on a few Thanksgiving trips and love it.

I'm working my last waitressing shift tonight. It was a third job I picked up in November. I liked having my own cash each weekend but 3 jobs was really taking a toll so I gave my notice in the beginning of the month and tonight is my last night. I hope I can still save for Disney like I've been!

Ok, I did my disney math again...we actually might do an AP + TIW instead of DDP. I recalculated with better facts about the AP/TIW discounts, included the 5% rebate on my son's tuition from the grocery store gift cards bought through his school which I use to buy Disney gift cards to pay everything plus added in the fuelperks savings from purchasing the gift cards at our local grocery store. Conservative estimate - $150 savings with AP + TIW vs. 10 day park hopper & DDP!!!!

Yes, I know...it is disney math - I am sure I will do it again in another month or so!

If we do not get back this year it will end up being 2013. I am keeping fingers crossed for this November.

We've done the same thing!

Our policy now is "If there's a bounceback offer, book it." This way, we can cancel if we really can't make it, but don't miss out on the discount.

The pull of Disney is so strong for me, we keep ending up back there... more often than my husband would like! But he's a good sport about it. Especially if we have a discount.
