I agree, the Tusker House's breakfast buffet is awesome :thumbsup2

I also really enjoy 'Ohana. It's a lot of food, but it's a fun atmosphere, and I've been impressed both times I've gone. Lots of meats though, so if that's not your thing, it's probably best to avoid that one.

So excited! Booking our November 17-25 stay today! Thanksgiving in Disney has become our tradition, and we all can't wait! Now, the decision remains... CSR or family suite to the new Art of Animation?! We are still undecided, but know we have to make a decision like NOW! Any opinions are appreciated!

mommyof3princess27,
Have you considered lunch or dinner at 1900 Park Fair? Great characters! And the selection of food is varied. Breakfast could be your best bet though. Then there's the character b'fast and lunch at Animal Kingdom. Buffet too.

That would have to be dinnner at 1900PF. No lunch there. But the dinner is TONS of fun!

Ok fellow Novemberers (if that is a word) I need some help! I dont know how to finish my ADR's! I dont really wanna waste them on CS meals BUT I dont have any 2 credit ones I wanna eat at! And with the youngest kid being 4, I dont think she will enjoy them. I need one or 2 more AND now with my dietary changes, I need to make sure I can eat what they offer! Buffets might be ur best bet for the most part, since I have a larger selection. Here is what we have -not in any order just what I can think of)

CP breakfast
CM Breakfast
Princess Breakfast at akershus
Cape may cafe clambake dinner
t-rex
rainforest cafe
WCC
sci-fi
50's PT
GF cafe

AND another idea that is floating in my head is the pirate league? I wonder if my kids would like it?

For dinner maybe you could try Boma (buffet) at AKL then check out the animals after...OR Ohana (family style) then go to the beach to see Wishes and the Electrical Water Pageant. For breakfast or lunch maybe Tusker House (character/buffet). Just a few ideas I had with a little extra something. HAPPY PLANNING :goodvibes

mycokerewards has a $20 off promo code for Southwest flights through 11-15-12 for 100 reward points.

mom2rtk,
I stand corrected. No lunch at 1900 Park Fare. My daughter and I did have dinner there a few years back. It was soooo much fun! Cinderella's stepsisters were the BEST characters!

Hi,
The decor at CSR and AoA will differ quite a bit. Do you have kids? If yes, I think they're probably going to enjoy AoA more than than CSR. That's just my opinion, of course. You might want to through the pics on Disboards to see for yourself. I'm thinking since AoA will be the newest of all the resorts, they will probably be filled to capacity. Again, my opinion. There's no scientific data attached to this conclusion. Just my gut. :lmao:

So I was reading another post where ppl said they really dont think there will be any discounts offered Oct-Dec because of the new Fantasyland opening.... if this is true, I will be so sad :(

Yeah. I read that too. We can speculate, but in truth, there's been FD offered in the past years for the Fall. So, we'll continue to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best! Discounts for the general public have been recently released for the summer... We need to think positive!

Hello All!

I have been visiting this thread for several months as we plan our next WDW trip. We will be staying a the Beach Club Villas from 11/11-11/18.

I would like to book both the Wishes Dessert Party (we did it last Sep and loved it) as well as MVMCP. The two are different enough to justify doing both, right? We will be eating a lot of meals in the villa, so I figure I can splurge on a couple events :)

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Jess

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes :grouphug: (I just feel the need for a hug today. :))

mommyof3....This is just my opinion on free dining. It all depends on if the rooms are booking. You have to remember...parts of Fantasyland are opening now. As we all start to lock down on trips, are we seeing any resorts fully booked? Rooms unavailable for your time frame? I'm not. And we are thinking about changing from the WL to POFQ. (We have had some budget busters show themselves.:sad2:) But whatever room catagory I check on so far has availability. I still say we have a great chance of having it released. :thumbsup2:goodvibes

I did MVMCP and the dessert party last year...LOVED the dessert party :cloud9: I like MVMCP but I liked MNSSHP better....if it wasnt for my kids going to the MVMCP for the first time this year, we wouldnt do it again. Its ok but the lines for cookies/cocoa is supper long. We actually did the dessert party DURING MVMCP.....I think I will do the dessert party again this year if its offered when we are there

So how far is everyone from paying off their trip? I have about a 1/3 left to go! Then spending money!

I've paid off half, hoping for a great discount so I have less to pay later. But the full amount is sitting in savings waiting :wizard:

Spending money is another matter.:3dglasses

I hate to say it, but we've still got all but $400 left to go :scared:...mind you, we did just book our vacation, and we have a Disney Honeymoon Registry up and running, so we're hoping that over the next few months that number will will look better and better...and we're also hoping for a discount, so we're going to sit tight and wait for a bit before we start making payments on it popcorn::
