Mommyof3....I am so sorry you are going through this. My mother was diagnosed with this same thing three years ago. It is awful...so much to avoid...it seems almost everything...My mom has been handling it...she has "cheated" and had things she was not supposed to in risk of a flare up....but rarely does...the pain associated is just too great a cost. But sometimes the call of chocolate is too much to deny. I wish you the best as you get yourself on track with IC. It can be done...but still saddens me that you have to deal with it. Hi! Up on the upper left of the page in the blue border is a tab labeled "USER CP"...click that and then on the right is a tab to "edit signature" That is where you can add items to your signature...I use DIStickers.com for my countdowns. Hope that helps.

#1..when you are posting your replies, see all those little people over to the right? that's what we use! And you should see (More) on the bottom left and that'll take you to an entire page full!!

#2... look at the tickers on our sigs that you like and go to those websites to check out what you would want,...follow directions,... when copying take the option to copy the one that has the URL,..make sure you get the entire thing from end to end...then follow the directions from FunkyDuck on where to put it....if you need more help just ask,...It took me a while to figure all this out too!! Every site is different!

Question to all your Novemberites out there planning your trip

If you could lock in your flight now, would you? Without knowing dates for things like MVMCP, Osborne Lights, etc? I can but am afraid to as I do have a day or two leeway vacation wise, and depending on when they do the special holiday events, I might want to shift my vacation earlier a day or later a day, but once the flight is booked, I miss out on that chance, and if I wait too long, I might lose the good deal on the flight

If you could lock in your flight now, would you? Without knowing dates for things like MVMCP, Osborne Lights, etc? I can but am afraid to as I do have a day or two leeway vacation wise, and depending on when they do the special holiday events, I might want to shift my vacation earlier a day or later a day, but once the flight is booked, I miss out on that chance, and if I wait too long, I might lose the good deal on the flight

I think it's still quite a while away from November so there's heaps of time to book flights.

We've already locked in our Disney vacation because we are coming from overseas and need everything sorted well before we know any information. However, I think because you currently have flexibility in your dates, I would hold off.

I booked a trip last year well in advance with a good fare and then something I really wanted to see relocated to another city. The time we were meant to be on vacation was the exact time this event was being dismantled and moved! So I had to change my flights to delay it by three weeks and pay the expensive change fee. Once you know your dates definitively then I would book your flights.

BroncoBilly - I would not book a flight just yet if you are not absolutely certain of your days. As the previous poster said, there is still alot of time left so flights are most likely not at their cheapest. I find about 3-6 months out is when you can find the best flights. Saying that, the only airline I would book this far in advance is Southwest since they offer such flexibility when it comes to changing your flights.

SW currently have dates up until November 2. According to the Transportation Board here on the DISboards, SW will be releasing dates from November 3 to January 2 (IIRC) on May 21.

However, Jet Blue does have November dates available. They were just released a few days ago. I believe, the dates go out to January 2013.

I'm waiting for SW to open up the dates. DH is trying to convince me to fly Jet Blue. SW flies out of our local airport and is only about a 20 minute drive for us. Jet Blue goes out of another airport where the commute is about an hour or so depending on traffic.

Another place to find tickers is right here on the DISboards. If you look at the top where your USER CP is listed you will see TICKERS.

mommyof3~Poor you!!! I am so sorry you are dealing with all this!! I tell ya, sometimes, we just have to start finding answers ourselves!! I had to with an issue I was dealing with and learned a lot on my own!! It was super helpful...have you checked any websites yet for natural supplements to help with this? I buy stuff from a few that have a lot of good products you may want to look into,...Beeyoutiful is a website that sells herbal supplements/vitamins,etc,..also iherb is a good one...I agree that your hubby needs to read some info--it is going to affect him too,..unfortunately. Have you talked to the Dr about giving your hubs an antibiotic? A friend of mine was dealing with an infection sorta like this a while back and come to find out, she would finish a round of pills, then her husband would pass it back to her!!!! Just a thought,...but I will be praying you find an answer!! I know it has got to be painful and aggravating,..I can not drink Coke...bladder infection!!!! I can have Dr P all day long, but a Coke? weird.

I had a friend that the same kept happening to her. Never bothered her DH so they had no idea he kept passing it back to her until her doctor suggested he be tested too.

I think DH and I decided to book at AoA suites for Nov 4-9!!!!
We really want to stay there, but will re-evaluate if some big discounts come out. Yay!!!!

I am seriously thinking about doing the same.

We drive, but I would probably wait until you nail down your dates. DD are I are flying to Dallas in July on SW. I started looking at flights in November, and in February, they went down and I locked them in.

we are planning on leaving to go back home Black Friday but so we can take advantage hopefully of a possible future promotion (hint free dining ) we will leave the Wed. or Thurs. before Thanksgiving week that way we can get free dining for our whole trip
