I just got off the telephone w/ dcl dining and promised that I would post this message asap...they are in the process of assigning tables. They know that we "disers" have a large group linked together. Here is the problem...1/2 the link has "early" seating and 1/2 the group has "late" seating. They need everyone who is part of the link to request either "early" or "late". Otherwise, they will not be able to honor the link. I told her that our family and my college roomie and her son are sticking w/ "late" seating--we liked that time frame last year. Please either update on line or call dcl to confirm whether or not you want "early" or "late" seating. Thanks!!

Lisa

The linked ressies were supposed to all be late dining. I just called DCL and the folks listed as early are

Molli Marshall Family and

Daniel Blair Family

So, if you guys want in on the food fight, call DCL at 1-800-939-2784 , give your res # and ask for late!

Lampy, as of now, you are NOT linked to this ressie. Maybe a call to your girlfriend can get all of this straight!

She only showed about 6 families linked.

If anyone else would like to be in the same dining area and rotation as the rest of these DIS nuts, PM me for my ressie # and call DCL to link.

Willie

ICE and Willie
Great job on letting everyone know about dinner links
i hope the other half follows through
I would hate to get Potatoes on someone i didn't know :goodvibes

We bottom dwellers never talk about size :teeth: :earseek:
Anyone else get free trans to/from the beach at Tequila?
We did...kind of like the insurance commercial....We feel special!

ICE are you Lisa going to the beach?

John :earboy2:

ok -- i called DCL and they have us 'linked' but i have to get my TA to call and switch us from main to late -- make sense

also -- all you Tequila Beach Clubbers, thought you may like to read the latest response from my prodding this poor guy about their beach policies :rotfl:

In respect to the crowed condition at the beach, I have no way of knowing how many people will come ashore and go to the beach. Tequila Beach will be crowded on a 3 ship day, but it will be a lot less then the public beach that all the people that ask to go to town are dropped off at. As far as the chairs as well as the other facilities of the club, you are given a wrist band and those with the bands are given priority.
The number we suspend sales at I can not give you a number, there are so many factors that determined that. I am not trying to put you off but that is the truth about the sales policy for the club, it is the discretion of the club manager.

What you may consider crowded the next person would thing it a fun party crowd.

Cancellation policy is a full refund if cancelled
7 day before the tour date. If the ship does not dock for any reason you will receive a full refund with in 72 hour in most cases it is with in 24.

John

John,
We are doing Palo brunch on the first sea day at 11:30 and I can go to reservations and try to add you and Julia when I board, if you like. But, REMIND ME. Me memory ain't what she used to be!

Willie

no docs here either, but like I said before, I wasn't going to be too upset since we just made our plans a couple of weeks ago.....

Dena, Ken and Andrew,

I PM'ed you my ressie # to link for dinner.

I do not know what rotation Lampy had originally requested. I like all of the restaurants so I am good with any rotation.

John

John, I'm unable to retrieve our ressies right now because there's tech probs on the DCL website, (should be up soon?) but I think Rob's and my reservations are Palo dinner at 6p Sunday and Palo brunch 11:30 Thursday. :earsgirl:

We'd love to have you two (and anyone else) join us! :earsgirl:

I just want to be sure my times are correct, then I'll pm to you the info if they are.

Help!

We'd like to be 'linked' to the late seating.

I called DCL, and they said if we'd like to be linked to any other families, we need to phone back with confirmation numbers or first/last name on reservations. :confused3

No Docs yet...

I'm looking forward to hearing that whoosing/sucking/vacum sound from the head. For those of you who've never cruised... one flush and you'll know what I'm talking about. Close the lid and run out of the cabin or you might be sucked in... at least that's what I told DD. :rotfl:

Hey Doogie
With as many cross country flights i've taken lately, the DCL flush and run isn't as bad as a Jet's. I make sure the lid is down before i lose any clothing that may be taken with it! :scared:

OK, for those of you still waiting for DOC's
here's my MAGIC wand! :earseek:  :earseek:  :earseek: :teeth: Mine works a little differently than DW's! :rotfl:
John :earboy2:

Hey, I'm judynpa's dd, Mindy, age 17 turning 18 on board. I was wondering if anyone was doing the horseback riding excursion at Costa Maya. I would like to do it but my mom doesn't want me to do it alone, and she thought maybe a group of Disneyers might be doing it. I'll be 18 the day of the excurison! does anyone know if I can go w/o a parent?!?

Paul (goofyhouk), I think if you posted a picture of yourself in your Goofy costume that would surely earn you enough pixie dust to get your docs!!QUOTE]

I don't have a picture from Halloween, but here are a couple from last year at our school's "Jammin for Books." We already have our docs, what does this earn me instead? :scratchin

I am not sure about the age to go alone, but 18 probably qualifies... DD 14 is interested in that also, Dh might be taking her- I can let you know for sure when we decide.....

Veteran cruisers:
I had asked this ques on the general forum, but didn't quite get the answers I was looking for- if Dh and DD go on an excursion, and Ds and I go on a beach, is it financially feasible for them to join us before/after their excursion, or is that just wasting money? Ds is 8 so he would probably be just as happy staying on the ship...... Pam

I just found one answer to my ques- if we book tequilla beach club, horseback riding excursion is available, so we can all do the beach thing..... Pam
