good morning -- just stopping to join Sherri in the no doc dance

i'm pretty sure there is an ATM onboard -- mom has my passporter book if she could look it up? we always feel a tad safer carrying travelers checques. have to get some anyhow to pay FL tours

Lampy! I thought of you spooking kids last night as we walked DD Paige around, she was 'car wreck guy' she had a broken blooded arm sling with bones popping out and a blood spattered sweatshirt. we 'gave' her a black eye and cuts on her face and bleeding lip. yes, my darling little Taylor and her friend set up a 'beach' on our driveway, beach chairs, umbrella, towels, kiddie pool with sand and toys, beach music and beach attire and passed out candy. wonder where that inspiration came from?

OH SO SORRY, MOLLI...I will do the same for you. I'm gonna triple my pixie dust and it's on it's way. That goes for Grammy too!!! You gotta get it soon this week before we meet! Hey, it rhymes!!!

I don't about the rest of you all, but my alarm goes off at 5:30am to wake up the kids for school...well this morning, the alarm did go off at 5:30 but I turned it off thinking I'm gonna get up...eh! John and I overslept and didn't get our kids up until 6:10AM .....hurry, hurry up kids you got 15 minutes to get dress, eat, brush your teeth and go!!! A day after Halloween...boy, I wish Halloween was only on Friday so that you can be on top of things when Monday comes around.

OH YEAH!!! HAPPY NOVEMBER 1st!!! That's Seventeen days till we leave to head down to Orlando...OHHHHH, This is it guys...it's getting closer

OK... now that I'm considering the fact that I may need to bring more actual cash than I originally had planned.... if you run out of $$ can you get some onboard??? I know that sounds stupid but is there an ATM or anything like that? I'm guessing none at Costa Maya? and none on Castaway? If none onboard can I get cash in Grand Cayman?

Finally got our Docs here in Dixie!!! Or at least the TA did...will have them in hand shortly!!! Julia, thanks for the dust!!
Doogie ~ thanks for the new boarding procedure link...sounds like in general, they should have it streamlined by the time all the lime green descends on the port! Hopefully it's no big deal! I kinda like the idea of being able to wander around or sit down after checking in!

Gotta run to the 'seasonal' costume shops (Spirit) now...$$$ down 50-75% off! Esp. as Captains Morgan & Sparrow will be dining at our table!!!

I have just finished reading 3 pages worth of messages. Sorry, but I ususally don't read them on the weekend and I had yesterday off from work. Speaking of which, I won't be missing in 18 days!!!!

Willie-I'm not sure about 10-6 record for the Texans. They have to play my team next, the Jaguars. Maybe 9-6. I have been where you're at when the Bucs, cause I grew up near Tampa, went 26 games without a win. I was ashamed to say where I was from.

For those that will meet on the beach on CC, may I suggest walk down to the server before he gets to Lampy!!!! That way you are assured of getting a drink. It sounded from a post of his that he stops the guy from getting to you.

Hey, does anyone know about the dunebuggy ride. I booked it, but DH is worried on how many the dunebuggy seats. I felt, it should seat atleast 3-4. There is # of us going.

per the site I found this tour on it looked like 4 could fit. We wanted to do this one too, but the age limit for kids is 10 and both of ours are too young

Thanx so much for the pixie dust! The docs arrived about an hour ago! FINALLY!! Now all I have to do is make sure I hide them from my daughter cuz she still DOESN'T KNOW that we are going on this cruise. It's getting harder and harder not to say anything about it around her!! LOL! I'm still trying to decide if I should tell her the night before or at aroun d 5 a.m. the morning of...giving her just enough time to get ready so we can make it to the airport! LOL! I'm leaning towards the latter!

does anyone know if there are electrical outlets near the bed(s). My husband has sleep apnea and uses a breathing maching when he sleeps...and if he doesn't nobdy sleeps 'cause the snoring is WAY TOO LOUD! Anyway, I had seen on "the list" on one of the other posts that a power strip was useful but not sure if that's just becasue the bathroom has limited outlets or what. Any info would be helpful.

Yogamomme, I seem to remember the electrical outlet was across from the bed. I used it to charge two way radios. I would bring a short extension cord just in case. The stateroom is not real big, so you won't need a very long one.

5Js...I was looking for the UPS guy, but it turned out to be the DHL guy who brought my docs! I hope EVERYONE else gets theirs this week. Waiting is no fun!!

OhMom -- the beach party sounds too cute! I bet the neighbors love it!

Julia -- you get everyone out the door by 6:25 every day??? WOW! My dh is pretty good in the morning, but when he is not here or leaves for work early, I have a hard time getting my two out the door by 9:15.

Fletch88 -- what a fun surprise. I think I saw someone else post that they were telling their children they were going with their Dad on a business trip to Orlando, so they could keep the surprise up until they actually got to the Port. How fun!

RE the new boarding procedures, thanks for the link Doogie. I cannot believe they are distributing the numbers randomly on purpose; I have to assume that was a mistake. If they are doing them in order of arrival, that makes more sense and it just saves the lining up if I am understanding correctly. Whether they do it that way or not, I have a plan. Whoever gets the #1, we ALL go in together as one big party. They can't exactly say we're not together since we'll be in matching ensembles. If anyone argues, we can blind them with our t-shirts and sneak by!!

Seriously folks, I have to get on that ship early as I missed out on booking Palo reservations online! We are staying at the Orlando Hyatt and taking the first shuttle over so I would guess we won't be one of the first to arrive but hopefully things will go smoothly...or maybe we can catch a cancellation if necessary.

DW Lisa came home yesterday with a fever, and today found out she has strep throat. DD has a really bad cough. Better to get it over with now. I just hope if I'm going to get something, I get it soon. I certainly don't want it on the cruise.

Only 12 workdays until the cruise - Nov 11 is a holiday.
