November 15, 2008 7 night Western 11/15/08 11-15-08

Awesome Lin :cool1: , thanks for setting it up. I hope we can all meet up early in the cruise. I know this will be key for my little girl feeling comfortable going to the kids club

Here is a photo of Ainslie last month. Sorry it is so huge

Tickets for the MVMCP go on sale tomorrow. Unfortunately, the date of 11/14 is not in the AP or DVC discount days. I love the pics of the kids! Thanks Lin for setting up the meeting time! It's gonna be grand.

Has anyone heard anything about DCL going digital with their photos and offering a photo CD of all cruise pics? Sounds like that would be a great money saver.

Bought out tickets to MCVCP today. For anyone who hasn't checked here are the prices for 11/14:
Premium date prices:
November 14, 21
December 4, 5, 11, 12, 14, 18, 19
$55.95 + tax = $59.59/adult
$49.95 + tax = $53.20/child

Stinks that you can't get the advance purchase price on that day but.....

Oh and you are all most welcome, I am happy I am able to set up our gathering!

WOW! I havent checked back in a few weeks and theres SO much excitement!

Thanks for setting up the meet-that will be great! Especially if it's near the beginning so the kids can meet some friends there.

Congrats on the wedding-hope it's magical!!!

And Christie-your kids are absolutley gorgeous!

I finally got my Castaway Club number in the mail a few days ago. After all the nightmare stories I'd heard, I was nervous, but I got both mine, and DS's numbers in the mail. The whole little packet got me so excited to be going again---can't November come sooner?!?!

Hello all! Is it November yet? I'm going to keep asking that until it is! LOL. We decided against the MVMCP, just because I'm not sure my kiddos will be able to stay up that late. We'll do it again when they get older.....it's alot of money to spend on something that they may not stay awake for!

So now we need to decide whether to visit Magic Kingdom or MGM on our one WDW day. Decisions, decisions...........

Glad to see everyone doing well.

Hi there. When I spoke to the gal at DCL it was suggested to set up the meet the first sea day between breakfast and lunch. That would be Monday. We could set it up for Sunday instead since we do not get into Key West until 1:30 but I don't know if that will be too much rushing for people to squeeze in breakfast and the get together before going ashore? If anyone has a real preference let me know, OK?

Hi Everyone,
We can set up the Saturday Sail-Away party meet on deck and do the meet on Sunday or Monday, it will be good also for anyone who may have missed the 1st meet.
I hope most of us will have our trusty green bracelets on too.
Im up for anything, so Lin plan away. Im sure we will be hanging out all around the ship. It will be great for all of our kids who are around the same age to be familiar too.
This trip is going to be so amazing. I can't wait.

BTW, We are taking Joey tomorow to his first Yankee game.
Wish us luck, its supposed to rain some tomorow!
Have a good weekend:banana:

The potential issues with these days/times:

- Some of us will have our character breakfast scheduled mid-morning on Key West day, Sunday (depending on assigned dining rotation)
- Some of us will have Palo Brunch scheduled mid-morning on the first sea day, Monday.

I'm not sure which would be the better choice.

I would also LOVE this! Maybe this will be a change made with the upcoming dry dock... along with a remodel of Shutters, of course. ;)

Hey guys, I am open to suggestions for the get together date and time. But my guess is no matter which date we pick, there will be somebody with something planned.

Does anyone know what time Palo starts their brunch reservations, maybe we could try for just before that on the first sea day? If anyone else wants to suggest date and time, please give me a hand!! :goodvibes

By the way, glad to see we are not the only Met fans in the bunch!
:cutie:

Hi everyone

Thanks Lin for your hard work with the get together,It's great to have some cruise veterans helping us newbies- I wouldn't have a clue.

I had not even thought about Palo brunch, it's hard enough trying to work out when to do dinner without missing something else. Why does DCL have to give you so much choice?;)

Christie your kids are beautiful and good news about the choc milk!

Well,skill-less me had a go at making a fish extender this weekend armed with iron on hemming tape and iron on transfer paper. Oh dear! I have now got Disney characters on my ironing board and have decided to look on E-bay

I believe Palo brunch ressies start at 10:00 a.m.

Palo brunch is not to be missed! It is fabulous!!!

Speaking of brunch, if anyone is interested...

We could schedule a group ressie in the private room @ Palo... although I think we'd need to act quickly since there may be other groups looking into this as well. We did this with the group I sailed with before and it was a lot of fun!

You are are right - there are always going to be other things going on. I do think that an (early?) afternoon meet on either of the two sea days might work out a bit better for everyone though.
