I finished my up today. Made signs for my friends doors also(shh its a surprise). Thanks to Devin I have excellent magnets for them. We are runnung out to the mall to hopefully finish shopping. I am all packed up a ready to CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe they both received a facelift??? I can't guarantee it, but if there were a lot of problems with that room, it sounds pretty certain they were working on "your" room as welll....

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?? I'm telling ya--bad ju-ju!! But if they are sprucing it up it might be BETTER than others now. What do y'all think?

Some rated this room as 1 in 03, and then somebody else gave it a 5 a couple of years later. So the problem wasn't always there, or as someone else said, what's a problem for some folks, isn't for others.

I haven't cruised Magic before, so I can't offer any help, but if it were me, I might wait and check it out. Would it be worth it to call Disney and discuss it with them?

I am putting our dis name with a little note about the contents in the bag.

But now I have a question, got all bag tag goodies on the living room floor all ready to put into something. Does anyone have any good ideas. I know we got to hand them on the fish hook. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, no, the doors are METAL, the signs have to have magnets on them!

David, try small, inexpensive gitf bags with handles like from the party store or Walmart. Also you could use paper lunch sacks, fold over the top, punch two holes and use ribbon, twine or whatever to make 'handles'. The kids could even color on them or use Mickey stickers.

Did the rest of my shopping, tried to take a nap but the didn't think I should be allowed to sleep during the day (HER JOB). Apparently the Governor didn't think so either, as they called to make sure I'm voting.

I am now the proud owner of gold Mary Jane CROCS.

Dragonflyetc. very cute door sign! It has my favorite fairy (Merriweather) on it! Peg and I also have a 'special' relationship with the Blue Fairy, as we were in 'her' parade in Disneyland and got a special Blue Fairy pin. Oh, and we got to wear tutus too!

Would someone please come over and clean my house and make me a fried baloney samich?

Well, unplanned WDW days are my favorite...>BUT<....those usually didn't start popping up till about trip #4!

Just a word of warning....with the dining plan the restaurants do get booked up at 'normal' dining times. If you're looking for sit-down meals, try slightly 'off' times and you should have better luck.

Here are my personal favorites:
MGM: 50's Prime Time
Epcot....excuse me, Food & Wine Festival....nosh at the booths around the world!
AK, counter service, Flame Tree or Tusker house is fine. I usually only do 1/2 day here and eat elsewhere. BTW, do NOT miss Festival of the Lion King show.
MK, well, Crystal Palace to dine with Tigger, of course!

My First choice would have been at MK for any meal with Pooh and Pals.
All the others sound fine but what is a day at Disney with out Pooh, I am being a good wife on our trip I am giving up my Pal Pooh so DH can see is pal Figment. So I will be munching at the booths around the world this time.

Wow has this place been busy. Count us in on the housecleaners today. I love to come home to a clean house.

We also worked on our door signs today. As our color printer wasn't working, we made this a family project. DS showed off his computer skills, and DD colored all our signs in. Since everyone has to embark/disembark on deck 1 on port days, you'll all have to drop by to see our signs (near midship elevators).

One week from right now, we will be in Studio Sea doing the family activity, to be followed up with dinner at Lumiere's, our favorite restaurant.

When does Disney stop selling cabins for our cruise? There still seem to be quite a few left.

I too, will no doubt be finishing up on getting ready to send my distag items out in the mail Monday. I will also be finishing up on any last minute things and getting all my paperwork near my suitcase for the mad dash out of the door at 10:15 Friday. Jack please we implure you to be near the computer tonight at times to check in on the post #. Let's see who the real winner will be. I'm thinking several of us are trying our hardest to get that spot. We would like you to get it as you have missed out several times, but if you don't we will. I went to a dollar store and found bags. I did read about a fish hook so I will also send some ribbon down with mine to hang from the hook. I am going to cut the ribbon here so I'll just have to put them together real fast when I get there. Hope this helps.

Jackie just stopped by and we went over our funds chart - (cash to bring etc) - and my stomach is doing flip flops (excitement!) she's given me all the low-down on how to disembark, what shows she wants to see - and all the moments we'll be with Dis friends - lunches, meets, etc. I can't stand it, I'm READY NOW!!!!!

I like the gold mary jane crocs too! Unfortunately, only the local Hallmark carries crocs right now, and they don't have any mary janes. I'd say I'll look at the MCO store, but I don't think it will be open when we come thru at 6am!

You and Angie will match..We just got back from the mall and she is sporting her new gold maryjane crocs!!Thanks for telling me about them Pat . I also found some cute shoes in payless for Angie so tonight she was a lucky little lady snacthing up 4 new pairs of shoes. I needed to stpo at Walmart but I have a tooth ache Last thing I needed. I will have to go out in the AM. I feel so ready to go!!!!!
