November 11, 2006 - MAGIC - Special Western "Double Dip" Cruise 11/11/06

I am gonna' beat you to it gang! We leave in two weeks for Ron Jon's and then board Sat am for the 7 night eatsern! Our first cruise! Still a 100% surprise to the kids! (8 and 6)
The new "Dumbotron" as many DIS'ers have nick named it, looks great! I will give you guys a full report when I return after Thanksgiving.
Also a total suprise to the kids is a 5 night stay at the new Nickelodeon Hotel after the cruise! 5 nights may be a bit much from what i read! Many chotic screaming children running around looking for Sponge Bob!

janice it's a pre birthday with Jeanna and I are december birthday mine will be till dec 27 jeannas dec 18 the pictures will be at www.hannomax.com until we get home we be celebrating with pat whos my room mate we will try to upload to the website on the cruise. depends on how busy we are

Hi, all, mind if I join you on the double dip?
I just put down our deposit on a GTY Cat 12 for me and 2 of my DDs (they will be 10 & 8). We are having our first ever cruise on the Wonder this Dec 8th, so I'm hoping we love it and will want to do the Magic next year. *IF* we actually go, we'll be sailing on my birthday, so that will be lots of fun! DH won't be along b/c he's a fuddy duddy (actually, I think I'm married to Mr. Monk), so it's just the girls again. I promised him no more WDW until 2007 after this Dec trip, so I'm hoping that I can fudge it by, esp since it IS my birthday and all!

I'm going to see if re-booking on the ship will save me any...it was $2340 for the 3 of us (no air/transfer/insurance...I'll book that seperately) Tell me I did OK!!!

We're scheduled to travel with the whole crew this year. Youngest two..DDs will be 11 & 7 at time of sailing!

Some of us are busy with prep for our 12/03/05 cruise so don't take offense if the thread seems kind of slow....it'll pick up soon!

Yep, I'm in the Nov one! Thanks for the welcome! Now, I just need pixie dust that DDs and I fall in love with cruising and I don't get seasick (and DH will "give" me the cruise for my b-day next year! ) so I can STAY onboard!

I cannot imagine not loving the Wonder. We did a 3 day the first time and were bit instantly. Wish you the best. When is your birthday? My Dsis will also be celebrating her b-day next year on the cruise.

Hi everyone.
Well, my week off was nice and I have been back at work for a week. I had a great time following the *Live* from Magic 10/29 TENOR AND HER PEEPS!!! thread. That was the cruise we had booked originally before changing to the double dip. It sounds as if we missed a great time but I know the double dip will be just as much fun.

I saw that GrayFal also stopped by the other thread a few times.

I am really excited about the 11/11/06 cruise. As the 1 year mark approaches, I am even more excited. When we finally get to that point, I will put a countdown in my signature. My way of celebrating.

The work day comes early in the morning, I guess I had better go. Everyone have a great week.

my sister was on the phone yesterday telling someone about our cruise - she said "oh it is over a year away" so i jumped up and looked at the calendar and said, "IT IS ONE YEAR FROM FRIDAY!!" now that will make it seem closer!

A year away.....wow....time has flown!

Trying to wrap us the stuff for our trip in less than a month , get through the holidays and then kick into high gear on this one.

I've also been following the 11/5 Magic thread....really wish I was there!

Hi, gang...we leave in 2 days to go to Orlando, then to Ron Jon's for 2 nights at the Port, and then onto the Nov. 12th Eastern!
Our first cruise and so excited!
OUr kids (6 and 8) still don't a have clue we are going! Total surprise!

Getting off the ship on Nov. 19 will be only tolerated because we know we have the Nov. 11th, 2006 DD booked!
That will be my only saving grace!

We are opting to not post live from the Magic this Saturday so we will be silent, sorry.

I'll let you in on all the great updates and changes when I return!
