Can you tell that alot of us are busy with this year's trip and the circle journals? Can't keep up with all the DIS threads and Journal info....but then again...maybe I just be a little bit pokey at it all!

Pat has me signed up for things everywhere! There are groups and circles and journals and posts and subscriptions. How am I supposed to keep it all straight?? I am lucky to remember to dress myself anymore!!

But, golly, I sure do love her!

She is right, ya know. Better get packing. Be sure to split your stuff among more than one bag in case you lose one. I read that tip somewhere on the boards. Thought it was a good idea. You never know!

DD (11 at time of cruising) is interested in having a pen pal or pen pals who will be sailing with us. This will be her first vacation ever and her first experience with Disney.

Kris, my second dd, Rebecca will be a few days shy of 13 at time of cruise. The cool thing is, if Jeanna ever gets us some dates, the dd's can actually meet! I have been keeping her somewhat restricted from computer use, but they can e-mail.

Well, the princesses and I are off to meet some of the Plap Laper's!! We'll be doing MNSSHP all too soon! Jeanna, we'll send you an e-mail pic from Epcot if we can!

Hi all- Our group that is traveling together will have a couple of boys who will be almost 13 (1 turns 13 the day after we return from the cruise, and my DS will be 13 about 3 weeks later). Both boys will be in 7th grade. What are your thoughts on lab vs. teen room? My DS loves the stack, but I don't feel comfortable with him hanging out with the teens if the group on our cruise is mainly older teens. Both of the almost teens in our group are pretty conservative guys, and are very responsible and try to encourage others to follow the rules. They also don't like hanging out with kids who use a lot of inappropriate language. The other mom and I are considering signing both boys up in the lab until after our first Castaway Cay day, and then moving them up to the teen group at that point if they'd like to. I know my DS thought that there were times when he was in the lab on our cruise this past summer that the counselors sometimes assumed that the kids in the group were much less mature than he is. So of course we don't want the boys to feel like they are being treated like little boys either. What thoughts to you guys have?

I mostly read this post, but I also have two boys. They will be 11 and 14 at the time of sailing. Michael was 12 at our last sailing and really enjoy the stack. He is very responsible and seemed to find kids like him to hang out with. I am glad to hear of some more boys close to my kids ages that are sailing at the same time

I wish I could say that I will see you all soon. I hope to take a short trip to Norfolk this weekend to see the Majic.

Our group has ALL boys (must have been something in the water)!
One family in our group has a son who will be 11 at time of sailing. My sons will be 6, 10, & 12 (almost 13). Another family in our group has sons aged 10 and 12 (almost 13). We've talked to several other families we know who are considering booking with us and if they do, that will add 2 boys age 15, and 2 girls age 12 (yes, someone we know did happen to have girls), and a boy who is 8. All are great kids, and most of us have vacationed to DL together over the years.

Sorry dizney-cruiser (and Wendy) - no offense intended - we haven't abandoned you.....only have 47 days until we leave for this years trip! Been busy will all the final prep. Trust me...once we all get back then we'll be in full planning mode for '06!

'05 is our first cruise so I'm sure once we're back I"ll have lots of info to share for next year!

Us too.....DIS NURSE and family are busy packing and planning for our upcoming Nov. 12th sailing on the new and improved MAGIC....jumbo-tron screen, here we come!

This will also be our first cruise, and I am so glad to also have the Double Dip booked in 2006! I won't cry as hard when we have to get off, knowing we'll be back soon!

Just hope all that miserable tropical moisture will move out of the Caribbean soon! It's been raining and ug: and , and some of them too.

Lucky you, DIS NURSE! We expect a full report when you return, so we can get ready for our 12/03 cruise. We 11/11/06 cruisers are going to be sooooo prepared. I am really looking forward to the double dip at Castaway Cay. Love that island!!

Hi Everyone,
I just returned from 8 days in the Baltimore area Friday night. (work). Happy to be back in the sunny south. It rained every day I was there except on the last day when I was driving to the airport I saw some blue sky peeking through the clouds.

I thought you guys would have posted several pages and I would have a lot of catching up to do. I guess everyone is concentrating on this year's trips.
Anyway, glad to be back so I can lurk if I don't have anything to add.

I was busy working and did not have time for a Dis meet but do any of you live in the Baltimore, Columbia or Ellicott City area?
