I think they have more then 1 shuttle. If you look at the web site it shows a couple shuttles parked in front. I am worried that they keep booking 10:00 shuttle and we will all be stuck. I keep tell myself think positive. But I will be bringing the phone # of some taxis service just in case.

Is there a differance between miniDV and digital 8 I was looking at a sony digatil 8 on ebay. They have it at walmart. I ahven't gone to look at it. As far as cameras go I have picked out the one I want and I am going to get it on friday. its a cannon 8 mega pixles I don't know the model # off the top of my head.

Ok some how I ended up 2 pages back and I some one was posting about the bus at the Radisson. Here is our plan I am going to drive over and get droped off early and DW is going to ride thre shuttle from the hotel ( long story as to why to many people in a room) if any one NEEDS a ride we can probuble squeeze some people in.

Digital 8 is 8mm tapes. MiniDV is a higer quality video. You will also notice there are always more MiniDV's to choose from. Therefore better deals can be found. As far as your cannon 8 mega pixles camera you are getting is it the Rebel by any chance? That's the one I have and you will love it.

I have that one also and I am in love with it. It takes beutiful pixs as well as being VERY versatile. I am still learning how to use it manually in AV and TV and some of the photos I have taken were great. Do you have a telephoto lens? I am thinking about getting one and there have been several times I wish I had had one. When I was at Hoover Dam for one. Do you have the external flash as well?

I am looking forward to taking pixs on the cruise ths time with this digital. There is another Diser SMchan who has taken some awesome photos. I do not know what he uses. I did get a travel tripod and it is great.

Gosh I get so excited about the simplest of things.

As far as a camcorder goes your best bet is a MiniDV. It's digital video on small tapes. There are many to choose from and the prices are not bad. The reason a MiniDV is the way to go is to many to list but here is a few reasons. The tapes are not a lot of money. You can hook it right up to your TV to watch. And being it's didital video you can link it to your computer and put the video on your harddrive. Most of them also will take a SD card for stills but your best bet for that is a Digital Camera for stills.

I do have a telephoto lens yes. I have not yet gotten the external flash but may get it for this trip. Also a tripod is the way to go. You can get great night and firework shots with it.

Carolyn I have 6year twins DS, DD both really enjoyed the club two years ago. Both of mine are very shy but loved going to the club. There is so much to do and the staff working in there are wonderful. Truly my children wanted only to do the club and the pool all trip. I'm sure your kids will make friends and enjoy it. Also mine will have their green braclets on thanks to Ibouncetoo so look for them to hang out with.

I have a Canon EF 75-300 f4-5.6 Autofocus with Image Stabilizer. I belive it's one of the low end telephoto lens. Got it at Best Buy over a year ago. Make sure you shop around len's can be a ton of money.

Part 1: How about underwater disposable cameras, favorite snacks and or beverage that is not a Coke product. It might be best if YOU buy the snorkel stuff and send it to Shirley to include in the basket, but call her and they can give you lots of ideas.

Part 2: I've seen the Mickey pearl necklace (pictures posted here on the DIS, a year ago) and I know DISers that were thrilled to get one. I even know some DISers who are hoping to get one Could you have them send it to you at work? I'd call and ask, as it might be easiest and safest for you to get it when you are on the ship.

Kids, don't panic if your braclets still take a couple of days AND four of the packages didn't go out until Monday, as I ran out of envelopes
