Unfortunately, we will be canceling the Stateroom Tours (on the second sea day) for lack of stateroom volunteers. I've received too many stateroom cancellations to make it worthwhile. I wanted to let you know ASAP so you can adjust your plans for that day.
Instead, is anyone interested in having a DIS lunch on a the second sea day? It would be at 11:45 or so. We could have it at Lumiere's or Parrot Cay, whichever is open for sit-down lunch that day. If so, we would need to get a headcount in advance, and ask the dining staff to set aside a section for our group.

Hi Spoohs! Sorry my DD has been so bad about writing....we fight over the computer here too much these days!
But yes...we will try and plan for the Mickey pool drink station! Sounds great!
I believe the boat drill is at 4:00, so a brief DIS meet at 3:00 should work, at least for some.
Embarkation day will seem rushed for many no matter what.
The DIS meet -- like each of the DIS activities -- is not mandatory. It's just an opportunity to stop by and meet (put a face to a name, let the kids meet, exchange cabin numbers or addresses, share cruise plans, etc.). Drop by if you can, but don't feel obligated.

I hope they are talking about an actual refrigerator that they will put in your room, and not the "cool box" that is standard equipment.

We have our Palo brunch on the 2nd day at sea at 10:30 so unfortunetly we will have to pass.
And thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers about the fires! Weare fine although fire was about a block away from us. I didn't realize how close the fire had come to us until we went for a drive on Monday night. WOW!!! I would've really been freaking out,
had I realized how close the flames were to our neighborhood.
And then our dear friends evacuated their house when they saw flames at the end of their street in a nearby canyon. I think whats AMAZED me the most is our phenomenal fire fighters - they have done such a phenomenal job trying to save our homes and lives. And yet still there are parts of our county that look like they've been bombed. It is so VERY sad... especially since our particular fire was started by an arson.
Anyways....it makes me even more grateful that our family is safe and that we get to go on this wonderful Cruise. I printed out our packing list today, ordered walkie talkies and crossed a few more things off my list.
Does anyone have a Passporter guide? Was thinking now that I might want to get one. any thoughts?
Thanks Robin, we are quite excited here in Mass!![]()
The Patriots also won on Sunday! My DH is excited because he originally thought he would miss the football game on the cruise, but it is their "buy" week

I think we're still up for the thing in our room...... Unless no one is interested![]()
How did everyone book Palo brunch? I really wanted this but it wasn't available for me. I am hoping to book it right away once I board.
