November 10, 2007 - MAGIC - Eastern

guess what guys? We're Back!!

SO after a bit of therapy, a lot of yelling, and some apologizing, things are worked out (at least a little) between the family....

It took some hard work, but after reminding DH of our exotic rasul scheduled for sunday (and explaining exactly what that meant) as well as a few other things you can do on the cruise (he's totally cruise stupid right now)....i got him to agreee that we NEED this vacation....

Now, where i can get a really cool/original looking poster thingie with 2614, Mary, Jeremy, Cheryl and Rachel on it.....and maybe one saying First Cruise ~ Dis'er :)

Oh, and where can i buy magnetic paper that can go through a color lazer printer......

And do we think the dollar store may have green wristbands? :p

I think we're still up for the thing in our room . . .
We are so looking forward to it. We visited the Roy Suite on our last cruise, and loved it!

I have it written down for the second sea day, Monday, at 3:00. I hope that's right.

Woody

Thanks woody...

I was SOOOOOO upset when DH and I talked about not going...but at the time it seemed like the right thing...

but thankfully that drama is over, at least for now. It's hard when one looses a parent/husband and the tension is really high like all the time. We'll get through it though.

I'm just excited that we'll be on mickey's boat soon! We actually leave for MCO from our home in 2 weeks and 6 hours :p

yeah that's the idea....DH seems to have thought that we'd be basically forced into spending time with them, but Dmom and I reminded hiim now that it's basically just me and him a majority of the time. I so wanted to be on this cruise and I know deep down inside he knows it will be really good for us....we're both students and we need this break, and we also probably won't have money for another trip like this for at least a few years, so we need to enjoy it.

Trisha - so glad to hear that everything is ok. When we didn't hear anything for a day or two I was afraid the fire had turned back your way. How scary that it was so close.

Linda

School tomorrow is cancelled - due to poor air quality. And all soccer games, extra curricular activities, etc are being cancelled until Tuesday. Oh well...I was gonna get lots of stuff done tomorrow for the cruise... I guess not. :sad2: The other bummer is that my kids have cabin fever :scared: because they've been locked up inside for 5 days straight!!!! No running around to get out that extra energy... boy will I need this cruise!!!

But we love our :firefight !!! They've come through time and time again in the past few days!!!

I did make two fish extenders though tonight...

Thanks everyone for your passporter insights. I've got one on hold at the bookstore and will go check it out to see if it's still worth getting.

I'd still love to see the suite if possible. We'd be happy to pitch in on some wine if needed as well.

Happy Friday everyone!

:cheer2:
My mom is taking the whole family on this cruise (6 adults and 7 kids - 8, 6,5,4,3,17 mos and 5 mos) as a 65th birthday cruise (Grammie mimi - you may see our door signs!). We will definitely be a travelling circus so I am sure you will see us if you are during the same dining rotation or near our cabins. We are on Deck 7 between the mid and forward elevators on the starboard side. Anyone else over there too?

My sister and I are so over the top excited about this vacation. It isn't normal!!!:mickeyjum

Good morning board - I am the other sister. My sister has so taken care of us to get us organized on the cruise - left to my own devices, I would only probably just get on the boat. She has taken care of dinners/brunch/massages/nursery times - you name it, she has thought of it.

I at least have the coffee & chocolate milk sippy concept worked out for room service in the morning and nights. Four little kiddos in small rooms (we have a suite/two room thingy) has me a bit nervous - we don't sleep well in our house so ...

Kelly told me about these boards but I have only been way way back in the spring - I keep thinking of the triplet mom from California.

I have four kiddos (but all singletons) - 5, 3, 1 (almost 2) and 4 months. The older pair are very excited (even if slightly misdirected what this all means - they can't possibly understand). I cannot wait for this trip.

Hope to meet up with a few of you - I am sure I will see the Kid Club/Mickey Pool parents many times over.

I am still amazed at the energy and excitement of the adults for this cruise - will be fun.

I am from Toronto - but am flying out of Buffalo (why make it easy)!!!! Our trip begins on November 6th so just over a week away.

BUF68 soooooooooooo glad you'll be with us after all!

AnnD, I'm sure you're gonna love this cruise:goodvibes And I'm sure everyone's gonna have a great time!!!!!!!!!!

We are from Montreal, leaving from Montreal on friday the 9th and spending the night at the beautifull Hyatt MCO!!! before the cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cheer2: :grouphug: :cheer2: :grouphug: :cheer2: :grouphug:

Buf68, welcome back!! :grouphug:

AnnD, welcome to our thread! We have a five year old boy so I'm sure we'll see you at the clubs and at the Mickey Pool.

Been2Marceline, I'd love to do the wine thing and see the suite. Hope it's still on!

My documents finally came yesterday - hooray! :cheer2:

Michele

Benne2Marceline, Would still love to see the Roy suite if you are still willing to let us all in. Like all the others will pitch in to help with the wine cost.

No pref. on wine.

:cheer2:
Kinda pleased with our sports teams these days!!

My DH is also VERY relieved that the big Patriots/Colts game is the week before the cruise and no game to miss on the cruise. Although I suspect that Diversions will play football...

We're from NH, my wife is from Peabody originally. We are also on Deck 7 and have a 5 yr old and 4 yr old. Welcome aboard. We'll toast our championship on the Magic.

My 2 are DD 6 (only just 6 - her 6th bday is on Nov. 8th) and DS4. If you see us, please say hi!

Go Sox!

I am glad to hear that you are all safe and sound. Has it quieted down or does the threat still exist? I can't imagine what it must be like. Must look like a war zone in places.

Welcome KREquadt and Ann D!

I think we're still up for the thing in our room...... Unless no one is interested:sad1:

We'd still love to see the Roy Suite! We saw the Walt last year, and it was amazing! I hear the major differences are in the color of the wood paneling, but I'd love to check it out for myself. And to bring DH, who refused to come on the stateroom tour last year. I want him to see how the other half lives:lmao: .

Welcome back. Hope everything works out OK.

Don't worry about looking for the green wristbands. It's much easier to find green Mardi Gras beads.
