We got our tickets for MNSSHP on Oct. 31 in the mail today!!

We did too!!! We'll probably go as pirates - so we can reuse those costumes on pirate night!

So, we're meeting somewhere for Oct 31st, right? I mean... with this many of us going that night it's only natural!! What are y'all doing for dinner that night? Since we can get in at 4:30 we'll probably just grab a bite at Pecos Bills - loooove their burgers!

Got tix for 10/31 other day, was like " what's this? ". DUH, wow pain meds really mess with your head, I almost forgot where I was going.

Rehab is going great, and thank you for asking. Here is the update:
1mos from surgery exactly !!

I am walking without any assistance device, on my own two feet ! I am able to drive and have been for about a week now. P/T guy says I am WAY ahead of schedule. Walking up stairs normal, can't psychologically do down yet, falling fear. Riding a bike for 20min. daily, treadmill for 10min and OMG P/T is killing me with other stuff. I still have a ways to go, but at this rate you all better catch up with me come Nov. !! I will be leading the Congo line !


As for airfare - Southwest won't be releasing their rates for Nov. until June. I have enough points for 4 free tix and plan to use them. I did notice some rates for about $74 one way today for 10/30, not sure how long they will last though. With gas prices I am assuming that airlines are going to take a major hit and either raise them DRAMATICALLY or they will have to start offering some huge discounts to get us to fly again.

I guess the closed exit is exit 8 off the turnpike. I actually am closer to PA than the Garden State Parkway or the Turnpike.

That's why I'm flying outta Philly!

We haven't gotten up to the cruise meet yet, but i am SURE we will be having one! A lot of us will be meeting at some point on Halloween at MNSSHP I think, too.

We are in the process of getting people together who would like to be a part of Fish Extenders on board- are you into that?

Southwest told me that they would be releasing the fares for 10/31 until Feb 09 around June 20th, they say go to the website and look under Travel Tools, it will state the date they are to be released. Maybe we'll be on the same flight !! LOL

So the fish extenders- people post if they would like to participate on the cruise, and then we'll assign days for everyone to distribute when it's closer and we have all the cabin #'s. People are either making their own or are buying them from someone who knows how on ebay or this site. There was also some talk of a scavenger hunt, which sounds great. Another thing you should do is PM Jenny2 and she will send you an invitation to join the yahoo group she set up. There is more personal info there for all of us to get to know one another.

We are arriving Friday night.

Last time we stayed the night before in Country Inn and Suites.

It was very nice. Good (not great) breakfast and we were refreshed the morning of embarking.

I have no plans on going to Disney World. I saw lots are gathering there, but we are touching down in the evening and will be tired after the flight.

We are flying (ACY) in around 7:30 friday night and heading to CoCoa Beach and staying at the LaQuinta. A short trip to the beach in the morning. (I work 3 blocks from the Ocean City beach ) and then to the cruise

We stayed at the CI&S last year before our cruise and I have no complaints!
