Hey Everyone! Just got back last night from Disney World with my girlfriend for a Mom's getaway and we had such a great time! The husbands stayed home and took care of the kids. (If you want to call it that) We spent three nights at Saratoga Springs and although it was sad to leave it was so nice to know that I will be coming back in 5 months!! We had great weather no rain and in the 90's! Now its back to reality and waiting for Oct 29th! I Can't wait!
Got in on Thursday late afternoon and went to Downtown to the Rainforest and hung out at the bar and had drinks and appetizers and then for dinner headed to Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge.So tell us what you did! Where did you go? What did you do? How was SSR- where was your room? Did you go to the spa? DTD? PI? The flowers in Epcot?

and we did not get to Epcot there was just not enough time. On Saturday we went to Animal Kingdom at opening and walked on Everest twice, walked on dinosaur, went to see the nemo show and then went back to MK to shop. The MK was very crowded on Sat. We watched the parade at 3pm had lunch at the Plaza at 4pm then went back to the room for a nap. That night we went to see Wishes and Spectro Magic. On Sunday it was time to go home. I LOVE Saratoga Springs but I always request the Springs section because we do not have a car and I want to be close to the main pool and food court. We had a studio on the 4th floor and the view was great! The key is if you are going to the parks get there when they open because you pretty much walk on everything, afternoon it's hot so we went back to the pool and hung out there till it was time for dinner on Friday. We got really sun burnt so we did not go back on Saturday. Then at night go on the rides when the parade or shows are going on. We had such a great time but as always not enough time to do everything we wanted. I wish we had more time but at least I will be back in Oct.!!!!
), but hopefully not too bad. I think I requested Grandstand and Congress Park, or maybe I switched it to Springs... I don't know now- I feel like I'm better off being open to anything, so if they stick us back in Carousel I won't be devastated! I'm only doing one spa treatment, the Mystical therapies, my girlfriend is doing 2 one day and two or 3 another day- on that second day I'm doing the Segway around World Showcase instead. So glad you had such a fun trip!!! You'll be back before you know it!
OK, lots of us will be going to MNSSHP on 10/31, I need advice. Has anyone gone on Halloween before? Does anyone know how many tickets are sold? Will we be able to move in the park or is it stupid crowded? I know I should have asked these questions before buying 8 tickets, but, how many times do you experience WDW on halloween with your kids. It can't be that bad, can it?
I have never been, but my BFF told me that when she went it was yes VERY crowded, but they move you along very well. I figure it's WDW, it's Halloween, WHO CARES?
It takes a tremendous amount of work, and determination to reach that level. Congratulations!
