We have no plans for Nassau and the shopping is generally lousy at least compared to some other islands...though Mason and Lindsey are friends from prior cruises so if Wendy ends up at Frogs, so might we.

Hi everyone. Busy Thread today...

My last Disney Cruise was back in 2001. I know lots have changed.


Can anyone explain which day is pirate night? We currently have Palo booked for the last night of the cruise. Is that a good night or should I change it to a different night?

Any suggestions are welcome!

I have been advised Pirate Night is Friday and we also have Palo booked for Saturday...that said, Pirate Night fireworks are weather dependent and potentially can change nights, especially on a short cruise when we stay close to land...since Pirate's is always, I believe conducted near land just in case...

Despite being Platinum Castaway Club members, you have stumped me as I have never heard that term...that said CC now has multiple levels and the perks vary depending on one's level.

Getting close!

We arrive in Orlando from Charlotte, NC on 11/20 for 4 days at AKL before the Turkey cruise. It's been 4 years since we've cruised with Disney, so we are really pumped! Hoping for good weather in FL and Nassau. We booked the Aquaventure excursion. We've never done that one before!

My oldest (DD14) has been planning for FE gifts - she's all into it and excited that there are some "little ones" participating in the FE fun! When do you guys think the cut off for FE will be - when we have the final list? We want to order a few things online, so need a bit of a heads up.

Hope everyone is having fun getting ready! 19 days to go!

I have scheduled Mickey Mouse to call our house tonight.... This is a fun thing to do. By logging into the Disney Cruise Line Website you can schedule a call from various Disney Favorites. You can choose from Mickey, Goofy, Ariel and others. It will allow you to choose the date and time of your call. This is a fun way to get the kids excited.

I do believe I am the most excited one in our house right now !!!

LOL! I did this for myself when I saw the option as I was finishing up our online check in. Mickey should be calling me the Sunday before we sail on the ship. I am such a Disney nut! LOL!
